Damn good mocha! Nice relaxing ambiance. Will visit again

Connor Aitch

Went on a date here twice. Both times were good. Lovely little cafe.

Shawn Sangha

Good coffee, reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Good place to go for a while.

Linda Lagrand

It was okay. Wouldn't reccomened doing a lot of studying here, as there are only a few power plugs for laptops, as well as no outside food allowed. Apples, salad, water, whatever it may be, as they push you buy thier items. Thier items are pricer than what you would normally find in coffee shops. Good for a small stop and spend 45 min - and hour here. Would not reccomened any longer as you would end up buying something that's slightly over priced. TLDR: This Is a dark, quiet small shop. Good for quick stops, but not to study or stay long. Food and beverages are a little pricey, and would be cheaper at Starbucks.

Opal Courtney

Friendly staff. Cozy environment. And good food. Pretty much everything you want in a cafe.

Jay Cobsen

This is a great place to go and have coffee. It has plenty of seating and space, a wide selection of drinks to choose from, and good food and snacks to choose from. I go here often with my friends now.

Shawn Kelly

Nice place with cosy atmosphere. Drinks and food are decent.

Rayne-Anne Latchford Oosterveld

Bogani cafe is a nice little Cafe/Restaurant/Cafeteria/club, in a Strip Mall, at the corner of 23ave/111 street In Edmonton. I visited there on Easter Sunday, 4/4/21 at about 2pm.people can come and Spend a long time nursing a cup of coffee, Reading a book or a paper, without being Disturbed by an owner who is bent on selling, selling , selling. In my visit, the Waitress/ chef ( a student daughter of The owners) gently asked me for what I want to drink or eat. I settled on Chicken Rice soup, expecting some version Of canned soup courtesy of Campbell Soup or similar manufacturer. To my Great surprise, she served,on a large Plate ,a delicious home cooked soup(lots of solids) That I found she cooked herself( Beef Barley was the other soup of the day, Presumably as good). She volunteered To serve Other dishes, but I was satisfied and had to go. I recommend Bogani's Cafe for its good food and kind patient Owners. Prices were reasonable for The quality served.I recommend the place.

Nilu Kamiss

The Cafe was definitely deceiving in a good way. From the outside, it looks like a small place. But it is quite the spacious cafe with a great decor. Their quiche is also to die for!

Avery

Great local coffee shop with a nice menu. Stopped in for lunch. Friendly staff and good food. Love the atmosphere.

Matt Munro

The cafe has an elevated room at the rear that is great for a large group.

The Bogani Cafe was definitely deceiving in a good way. No music, darker lighting. Good for studying and relaxing. There are couches and plenty of tables... Compared to other cafes, they have a much bigger selection of food and drinks. Plus a very hard working lady with a charming personality. My 1st time there. Nice and cozy feeling. The London fog Tea latte I had was pretty good too????. Also, They had a library where you could borrow books. I thought that was a nice touch. ????

Christine Morisset

I actually quite enjoyed this place. The barista was very nice and even brought over our drinks. She was alone on a very busy night and kept a lid on everything. I got a London Fog and yes I did enjoy it. Nice coffee shop with a casual vibe and good service.

Kathe Varga

Would rate it zero stars if I could. Absolutely disgusted with the food, order their tuna sandwich LOL it’s a joke. And the soup that I tried was extremely disappointing and I would have never ordered it if it had been described to me correctly.

Kelly P Kramer

Awesome food. Nice you can still find unique quality places.

Munashe Gwinji

One of the interesting local cafes around Century Park. A great place to hangout, meeting, or study.

Liam J Crotty

My 1st time here. Nice and cozy feeling. I'll definitely be back. The caramel latte I had was pretty good too.

Pradeep Dissanayake

Nice atmosphere. No free refills on coffee or tea though. They should revisit that policy. People may wanna stay longer of they did.

Jihen Kh

Great service with a sense of humour! Coffee portions were great...my cousin had 20oz of coffee!! Nice relaxing atmosphere - thank you!

Mireille Tessier

I love the atmosphere of this café and love that its local. They always have cute and delicious items and there coffee is good. Service is regularly slow but if you don't mind a bit of a wait you're good.

Ryan Anderson

I'm always looking through support local and not chains businesses I Love the atmosphere and service. The food is good and coffee selection is comparable the second cup. My meetings are always held there if I'm near the area. Support Local!!

Styx They\Them Fierce

I love this cafe. Its inside. They have a take a book leave a book. They make great sandwiches and the best macaroons I have tasted in a variety of flavours. Please visit this Edmonton owned business. The coffee is phenomenal and I can't recommend this in any higher esteem. Just absolutely amazing!

Emili Purvis

Nice selection of pastries and healthy food. Many drink joices. Nice relaxed atmosphere for a chat.

Starr Prudhomme

Used to be my FAVOURITE place to order from until I was ripped off! Ordered three sandwiches and a juice got one sandwich thrown on my porch step! Completely disgusted by this! And of course no one has tried to rectify it! I tried all day yesterday and nothing.

Desiree Heck

Compared to other cafes, they have a much bigger selection of food and drinks. Service is quick too, even if it does get busy sometimes. This is probably one of the better cafes to retreat to do get work or studying done as it’s well-lit, spacious, and most importantly never gets extraneously loud.

Rob T

Just found this great coffee and food bar last week. Good lattes and the best blueberry muffins. Can't wait to try lunch. Love to support local.

Audrey Henderson

Always a great atmosphere here. Very warm feel to the place. Doesn't feel like you're sitting in a coffee shop. Great place to study!

Excellent Cinnamon toast and coffee. Friendly service

Nicholas D. Scott

Always nice people. Servers are great. And it’s easy to find right by TD BANK & Century plaza

Dennis N

This is an awesome place to chill and work on laptop. Staff are top shelf. Food is excellent. A hidden gem.

Kiara Cooksley

The location and the decor is good. Overall ambience and food was good. But just 1 breakfast order took 1hr.... The server was very nice but struggled to serve 20 plus people alone. Extremely understaffed. This place has been great before but experience like this would lose their clients and reputation. Hope the management acts in time before they go out of business.

Courtney Anderson

First off i have a service dog. Never once have i been hassled for having her with me. It's a nice change. Warm friendly inmate setting while still feeling open and airy. Food is decent and their food is as well.

Andrew Heinrichs

Went to study and get tutored by a Flight Instructor. Fairly quiet, unless it's peak times.

Jessica Constance

Never expected such a large delicious chai! Very happy with this cafe and the barista was charming! Check this place out for a nice, cozy spot!

Donovan Jang

Great service & a cozy place to enjoy breakfast with a good beverage!

Kaitlyn Sveinson

Great coffee and friendly staff. It's a great place to meet as it's quiet and has lots of different seating options.

Andrea Ferrett

Stopped in on recommendation from a friend, wasn't disappointed. It's a great place to study, get some work done, or just relax. The drinks and food are delicious, the staff are very friendly and the ambiance is quite nice.

ReenyBear

Great tea selection! I hadn't been here until we had a community meeting here. There are a couple bug tables for groups of around 10, or studying. Also a few comfy chairs, and several tables of 2 to 4 chairs. Loved the cookie and hot chocolate I had the second meeting. Rumour has it a ukelele club meets here Sunday evenings

Sabinus Dcunha

This place is pretty cozy. The sandwiches are awesome. Bubble teas are great to. Had some macarons. Well made. The staff are support friendly.

Joe Angerstein

Great location! Wonderful place to network or just hang out. The food and drink are both superb.

Steven Luoma

Lovely, lovely local locale for delicious lattes, brunch and simple fare. Not only do they greet us with warm smiles, they remember our particularities. According to my 9yo: best café ever, has nice seating, delicious Smoothies, macarons and coffee (if you like coffee). Relaxing.

Jim Star

Great place with space to study, chat, or read. They have quite a large menu with fair prices, and very friendly people. My only quip is that their hours are short on Sunday (but who can blame them?). Overall, a fantastic place to visit.

Corinne Siteman

I have come to the Bogani Cafe for at least 5 years now, we hold a business networking meeting at this location once a month, and I normally stop in once a week. The service is always good, the food I have eaten so far has been great. We will continue going there on a regular basis.

Joanne Gustafson

Great place to have coffee and do some work. Had the breakfast and the dark roast.

Alia Noluv

A small yet spacious cafe that is located in a convenient location (111Street and 23rd Ave). Great place to host meetings. Walking distance to the Century Park LRT so a very convenient sport to meet with people that take public transport. They also have a projector which you are allowed to rent for presentations and such, and an area which you can reserve for larger gatherings. Depending on the time of day it can get quite busy. Love the hot chocolate here and the baked treats have always been fresh.

Cindy Husselman

I really liked their coffee when I first visited so I decided to try some of their food and I have to say I'm very disappointed... the soup was a chunky mess and the quesadilla was mostly empty with bell peppers filling the space... barely any cheese or meat at all... hopefully they improve their food quality in the future...

Ahmed Selim

Pleasant staff who go out of their way to do things right. Food is great...fresh. Atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Our favorite spot.

Suz Graham

Lots of drink varieties. I loved the loose tea bar. So many jars!! They have live music once in a while. Place was very clean

dave fletcher

Nice place to meet for coffee. Friendly attitude from staff. And coffee tastes good.

Emily Neumann

I used to drink coffee with my Grandfather on Sundays here. Excellent memories, fantastic drinks as well. I'll be honest I've never had the food here so I can't say if it's good or bad but man, the hot chocolate is killer and so is their coffee.

Laura Wilson

Espresso is brilliant. Drink sizes are huge! Great value for money and friendly staff. Lots of space for sitting and chatting. Feels cozy. If you're in the area, I suggest you walk rght past Starbucks and give this place a visit!

Jacob Brown

Food is great and the coffee is amazing, i love the mugs. Such a cute quiet little place.

John Dawson

Always good food and great coffee. Prices are good. Comfy place to be.

Mark Pataki

Great place too meet people and chat. Good coffee, not too noisy and power for your electronics. Food that I have had for lunch was very good.

Trish Orizaga-Brocks

Awesome ambiance. Huge place inside. Great servers, great cafe

Steve D

Relaxing, giant mugs of coffee, gotta try the grogg.

Carly Daum

Such a nice cafe. Good drinks and yummy food. Cute little place to stop and chill inside. I've showed a few friends this cafe and they all loved it. I love to support local. The servers here are always super nice and patient. I usually go there while on a dog walk, to get an iced coffee or a Vietnamese coffee. The lady sees that my dog misses me from outside and brings the coffee to me while I wait outside with my dog. Super customer service!

Sandra Loo

The Bogani Cafe has the best Tiramisu! Goes great with their Caramel Machiato ???? Had a great experience!

Erin Uhlitz

Wonderful little spot, with all the goodies.. and a very hard working lady with a charming personality. 1st time and I will be back!

Alissa Jones

I love the warm and cozy atmosphere here. It's one of my favourite spots for studying and hot chocolate dates.

Daph Rode

Best food and coffees here in the AM. Quite a great bonus VIP program they have there too! Great for meetings & small private gatherings.

K S

Neat little cafeteria tucked between Sobeys and Heritage Medical Centre, southside Edmonton. Great locally cooked menu items. Ukulele drop in happens 3rd Sunday each month...beginners to winners. Fun out of the way eatery.

Michelle McLean

If I want a quiet place to study or read, this is the place. Great staff, lots of tea choices. Lots of seating. The Vietnamese Iced Coffees are the best in Edmonton, honestly. If I’m in the mood for cozy and quiet, I’ll come here.

N

Amazing service, she was friendly and incredibly helpful. I in particular was super annoying with my inability to decide, and she didn't show any impatience what so ever. The cheesecake was amazing, all 3 of us agreed. New favourite cafe, loved the corner of books!

No music, darker lighting. Good for studying and relaxing. There are couches and plenty of tables. I love coming to this place every Wednesday with my friend group. We usually buy both drinks and food. Both are good quality, but a bit pricey for what you get. The employees who work Wednesdays have always been super nice, down-to-earth people who work super hard. Sometimes rushing to get a cafe full of orders all by themselves. Unfortunately, this Sunday was a bit of a sour spot. In my most recent visit, I came to play some card games with friends on a Sunday at around 1:40PM. Two of us bought drinks before starting and the other three were going to buy a drink in between rounds. It turns out that they closed at 4:00PM (we didn't check ahead of time, as they close around 9 on weekdays) and our first game lasted about 2 and a half hours. We were reprimanded on our way out by whoever the employee was (maybe the manager?) for not all of us buying something. That's kind of embarrassing for the cafe. It makes it look like they just care about the short-term and not about their regulars. The cafe wasn't even half-full so it wasn't like we were taking up a lot of space that other people wanted or anything like that. It's unfortunate that this happened given all the good experiences I've had here every week for the past year.

Garry Johnston

This cafe has amazing food and drinks. It is a peaceful environment with lovely staff..!

Nice quiet place to enjoy a drink with a friend.

Best selection of tea. Grest place to meet friends for coffee

Jeffrey Boisvert

This was an unexpected gem to find while Googling for a cafe that wasn't Tim's or Starbucks. The atmosphere is cozy, and it wasn't noisy or had obnoxiously loud music going. I ordered their Ruben sandwich, a London Fog, and a macaron decorated to look like a panda - essentially an Oreo flavored macaron. The sandwich wasn't particularly big, but it was tasty. The tea was perfectly flavored, and the macaron had a pleasantly chewy consistency without being overly sweet. Personally, I think the prices are a little high for what I ordered, so I don't think I'll order food there that often, as tasty as it was. I will, however, continue to visit for the atmosphere.

Betty Morris

A lovely little spot to get your tea fix and relax. They also have open mic on some Sunday afternoons. Worth the drop in for an easy unwind before the start of the week.

Haris Ahmad

Really nice hangout place with a small group of friends as there is lots of space so it never feels cramped. Warning though: expect to be scolded by staff if not every individual in your group made a purchase. Not acceptable to be a regular weekly customer who buys something 9 times out of 10 while visiting with a small group, where the majority of the group always buys something. Really sends the message that Bogani values your money over your continued support of the cafe.

Really nice little spot. Open mic Sundays, but you can sit on the opposite side if that's not your jam. Great hot drinks and paninis.

Sheila Snoj

Cozy seating and friendly staff. Outlets and extension cords next to seats, wifi works. Locally owned. All you need in a small local cafe.

Hank B

Great atmosphere, ideal place if you want to study, read or just relax with a coffee. However, I ordered nachos and ended up waiting 45 minutes for them. I felt bad for the waitress who attending over 10 plus guests which could be the reason why for the absurd delay. Hope management reads this and gets more staff working...

Keith Pitzel

This place is a bit of a hidden gem as it looks a little nondescript beside the giant, bright Sobeys and Shoppers Drug Mart signs. However, from the inside, Bogani Cafe is certainly very memorable and unique. The atmosphere and decor have somewhat of an "old" feel and look, which is very cozy to be in. The specialty coffee/espresso and tea drinks are excellent, and are certainly more worth the money than from a place like Starbucks. Bogani Cafe also offers a wide variety of lunch dishes (i.e. sandwiches, soups) and desserts (i.e. cakes). Although they are not quite as unique as the drink options, these food options are great and complement the menu well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cafe, or even simply a nice hangout spot. Check it out!

Clement

Very surprising based on the outside but I checked it out because it had such high ratings. Now I love it there. It's a beautiful cafe with bubble tea and normal coffee shop drinks. They also have the cutest macrons there in different animals or disney characters.

Rachel Gamboa

The owner and her husband are kind and courteous and always smiling. They make the best egg salad sandwiches according to my daughter. The owner makes fresh cinnamon buns that are amazing and delicious. It is a casual and comfortable place to have coffee and a snack with family or friends. No loud music to have to compete with.

Brad Lohner

Nice relaxing atmosphere, great food and service

Karin Zizek

The cafe had a nice calming feel to it and was larger on the inside than it looks from the street. There is a ton of options for food and drinks and if you like desserts you probably won’t be disappointed either. They had a library where you could borrow books. I thought that was a nice touch. I probably would have rated 5 stars but the macarons I bought were a little on the dry and crumbly side. Other than that it was a good experience.
