The driver of a pickup truck was driving fast in a parking lot and got very close to my vehicle. I was confronted, insulted with vulgar names and language and one employee had taken photos of myself on his cellphone. I would not recommend this company due to the employees lack of care and sensitivity. I have respect and did not take photos of the employees but the truck they drove is listed here. Management has not made the slightest effort to make things right and have not given me the courtesy of a basic phone call. This parking lot has a lot of people walking around at all times and has no place for reckless drivers such as this one hired here, at Splash Window Cleaning.

I’m happy with the promptness of the service. Two young men came over one did the floor to ceiling glass located at the balcony while the other did my bedroom window on the second story, climbed a ladder, so scary…I wish they took the screens off to clean the glass behind first tho but other than that I was happy with the work. Would call them again if need be but it’s actually the condo corporation that’s responsible for the window cleaning as we pay a monthly maintenance fee that is to include window cleaning at least once a year yet in the 10 years I’ve lived at this condo, they’ve only washed the windows on 3 occasions that I recall. So my windows were hella dirty. Thanks to this company they are super clean now, yay :)

Unacceptable. They Lie. For 2 straight years they have lied multiple times about when they would show up for X-mas light installation. They are very quick to call you and book your appointment every fall, but in 2 years they have lied about installation 4 times in total! We continuously have to call them to follow up. Not worth the frustration anymore.

My neighbor and I used the services from Splash Window back in April 2021. They came did a good job of cleaning the windows and lower level gutters. However they did not clean the gutter on upper level on both houses. We discovered the issue with upper level gutters only when the gutters flooded in heavy rain and we saw a plant growing in the gutter from ground. I tried calling Splash windows for a week and their response was that I should have called them in 48 hours and there is nothing they can do right now. My question to Splash window was if they think it is so easy to check 30’ high gutter with in 48 hours of their service than I should be certainly capable of cleaning them too. How do they suggest a customer to check the gutters that high? May be they should let customers know about the clause before providing the service. What wonders me is the blunt email about denying any kind of help and asking me to get the fully paid service again. Think They expect me to climb up while they do the service to check the work done. Fyi - I sent them all the photos, which I took from my friend’s drone which clearly showed the grown plants and all the dirt but they completely ignored it.

TL;DR - Splash Window Cleaning provided better quality service and at cheaper price than their competitor. Long version: This year we decided to get professional help installing Christmas lights on our house, since my wife is pregnant and we have small child it was going to be difficult for me to install the lights by myself (especially since I am physically distancing from people outside my household due to COVID-19). My neighbours recommended a window cleaning service provider who installs, maintains, removes and provide offseason storage bins for LED Christmas lights that they cut and fit to the size of your home's roof. The 1st year I pay for the cost of the lights + labour to install/maintain/remove the lights for the season and subsequent years if I choose to reuse their service, I would only pay for the labour to install/maintain/remove lights for the season. I called the service to get quote from their local franchise. We scheduled the appointment to be 2:30pm (I chose the latest possible time since I wanted to avoid conflicts during my office hours). However, the gentleman came at 11:30am when I was in the middle of work meeting (I am working from home during COVID-19). The gentleman was rude about it and insisted the appointment was 11:30am (I reviewed the confirmation email I got when I scheduled it on their website and I was right). When he provided the quote, he explained since there were 3 of peaks on my roof, Christmas lights would more expensive than a typical semi-detach home. When I discussed my experience with my brother who lives in Toronto, he recommended the company he used, Splash Window Cleaning. I called Splash and spoke with their office manager Alicia. I wasn't sure if they would do install service in Milton (as a company based in North York), but Alicia confirmed they could schedule me on the same day they were going to install lights for their other client in Milton. Alicia completed the quote by looking up my home on Google Maps, and I was pleasantly surprised her quote was $500 cheaper than the competitor I called first! I had to confirm the $500 savings on this twice, since Splash Windows Cleaning was going to provide the exact same service described above. Alicia even confirmed an earlier install dates in November, we wanted the lights installed before Diwali (Hindu Festival of Lights) which the other competitor could not guarantee. When the and SWC team came to install the lights, they were extremely friendly, professional and they adhere to COVID-19 safety precautions. They installed the quickly (less than 2 hours) and confirmed everything was working and that I knew that I could call them any time for maintenance. Unfortunately, later that night I noticed one of the bulbs died (a picture of the dead bulb at the top of the roof is below). Feeling guilty that their team just left Milton, I emailed SWC that picture of the bulb and asked for them to come at their earliest convenience. The team insisted they would come back the next day to fix it, which they did without any significant disturbance. They only rang the door bell once to confirm we were home and a 2nd time before they left to ensure all the lights were working. I cannot stress enough how happy we are with Splash Window Cleaning service, and that I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for professionals to install Christmas lights. I am strongly considering to use their gutter and window cleaning service in the summer. During these tough times I believe its important to support small businesses, however firms like Splash Windows Cleaning understand that their customers may also be struggling to save money and that professional and friendly service is also important (unlike Splash Windows Cleaning's competitor described above). That's I am happy to recommend/use this business in the future.

I saw Splash in the 'hood at a place where I know they only hire good people (someone in the housing industry). My previous window service left black streaks behind, didn't change the water between indoor and out, broke things in my house. Have had Splash do our window cleaning for 2 years now. Pleased with the job. Also impressed when I heard the training going on of a new person. The trainer actually stepped in a couple of times to have the trainee redo, showing him the proper way to use equipment, to remove screens, how to deal with different kinds of blind hardware, etc. We had to resched the first because of this season's horrible weather, but it is an outdoor-based biz, after all! They called to advise arrival, and were in the time frame expected. Respectful to my property, and I consider their billing commensurate with the job. I will use them again.

I am a long term customer; asked for Xmas lights at my new home. Explained I needed new lights; quote took a week. Came back with the same amount it always has been. First installation date came and went; second installation date they called and said are the lights outside? I explained the old lights would not work. Woman said "they can be rewired". I received the call from window splash because the former owner of this property ever used this company to clean the windows. God knows why they have my number. The crew showed up 3 hours late and left windows in the basement untouched and scratch on the window film upstairs. The office lady definitely need to improve the manners when talking with customers. Way too much I payed 300 bucks for internal and external cleaning. End up called to erase my info from the system.

When we called they rescheduled it again to Apr 1st, promising to be in house at 8 am. We were waiting at home again until noon... crew came and before I have chance to speak with them - they left. We called Splash Window Cleaning again "sorry", "we will give you discount", speaking nicely etc. Promising surely to come Thu April 2nd. Never showed up. This review is not related to any services rendered but rather the near death experience I encountered while driving along the 401. First of all, it’s beyond me while anyone would drive dangeroulsy and recklessly while fully advertising their business on their company vehicle. My logic would dictate that the purpose of advertising on a vehicle is to gain customers and not to alienate customers and ensure they never use your service. After attempting to merge into the passing lane on the 401, the drive of the splash vehicle who i later identified as the owner, went out of his way to speed up from quite a distance away and nearly collided with my vehicle to ensure I could not merge. I then pulled up next to the vehicle and signalled that I would be calling the phone number on the vehicle to report the dangerous driving, at which point the driver identified himself as the owner while laughing. If he is reading this now I’d like him to know that if he is going to put peoples lives at risk, it would be a better idea to use his personal vehicle where he can’t be identified. To all potential customers: if the callous disregard of the lives of other people by the owner of this company is any indicator of the professionalism you will receive, I highly recommend you go with another company. They will clean your windows in the morning and run you off the road in the evening. May you and all your families be safe.

Christmas light install and take down ! I have used this company for the past few years and I will not use their service again. The first year was ok but things have went down since then. They put my lights up in November and upon inspection there were many lights that did not have any clips used and they also used the old clips from the previous year. I was told that they replaced the clips yearly but this was not the case. When they came to take down the lights they left at least 40 of the clips on the lawn and all over the driveway for me to pick up !! The price is not expensive but you get what you pay for. I will spend the extra next year and go with a company that is friendly and won't leave a mess behind for me to clean up!!!

The workers led by "Rob" arrived 1 hour late. Rob did not have a conversation to review work expected, instead went into our backyard and set up equipment. When asked to have a conversation to discuss job clarification then, Rob became noticeably angry, defensive, and belligerent. He then stated "we are not doing this job" and in his rage hoisted his tubing and pathetically departed.
