I had SEVERE pet urine damage in my apartment and I tried taking care of it myself with Rug Doctor products and general store bought products which I learned damaged my carpets more than helped them. My carpets are now looking SO clean and smelling even better thanks to him! Very good job. Prior to cleaning our matresses he gave us an honest answer and said that he cant guarantee that the stains will be 100% removed but they will certainly be better and it was better after the job was completed, not only that but it also smells brand new.

Mister Steamer Carpet Cleaning cleaned the wall-to-wall carpets in our home just before we left that house for our new, smaller home. They were prompt, arriving at the designated time and very courteous. They worked efficiently as a team and completed the job in good time. The carpets looked better than they have for the past 5 or 6 years. Considering that the carpets are all approximately 25 years old and had some bleached areas where there had been pet stains removed, the carpets looked wonderful, and I was very pleased to hear that I would not have to vacuum them to remove cleaning residue after they dried as I had always done after any previous carpet cleanings. Where do I even begin? Words cannot even describe the service that my fiance and I received from this amazing company. Colin went above and beyond to help us through what was already a super stressful time and we had no idea that we would respect and feel comfortable to trust a stranger within very few hours of meeting him. Not only was he diligent, super clean and resourceful... Colin had a way of explaining to us the ins and outs of the service he would be providing for us and IN HUMAN LANGUAGE taught us so much about our particular issue. We are living in a renter and Colin was able to determine; through u.v light detection, HUMAN SMELL ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES, and through much much cleaning that we infact were dealing with urine UNDER OUR CARPETS from many previous tenants. As Colin expected, the carpets after the first day of cleaning began to wick; get sticky and smelly due to the amount of cleaning that had to be done to sanitize the area. Colin fully explained this to me before hand that it could happen and when I called him back he was quick to schedule a time to start again the very next day. Upon arrival he explained how he has never seen the carpets do exactly as they did... due to the excessive amount of urine that he found beneath the carpets afterwards. He was so appalled that he even explained to me how to contact the landlords tenant act if my landlords do not act and was very dedicated to explaining to me the importance of making my landlords accountable as our health could very well be in danger. Colin did the second days work FOR FREE. After he left I cried that someone would be so selfless that they would spend an entire extra day with a stranger to try and help them at no cost but their own. Obviously, the damage was beyond Colin's control but he sure did an amazing job in areas that he could and upon departure and through texts he offerred up service if we chose to take action ourselves. I came upon Mr. Steamer carpet cleaning quite by accident and completely agreed with their explanation of the proper way to clean a carpet. So I took the plunge and booked them. They absolutely thoroughly cleaned my carpet and even extracted all the old pet stains and odours - many of which I was not even aware of. I cannot believe that any carpet cleaning company can do a decent job in 20 - 30 minutes and Mr. Steamer took the time to do the job right. I purchased a vintage rattan set at an estate sale and was nervous about getting it cleaned as the spring filled cushions were covered in 60+ year old cotton barkcloth. Colin tested the fabric and hand cleaned every piece. He communicated clearly throughout the process as there are usually issues with older fabrics that haven't been maintained properly. The cushions came back looking absolutely amazing! The colors are much brighter and the screen printed pattern is intact. Colin also added fabric protection to repel any new stains. Regular upholstery cleaning would have destroyed these cushions so I am very grateful that I found Colin and was the recipient of his conscientious approach to rejuvenating valuable fabrics. He also cleaned 3 area rugs which came back nice and bright. I highly recommend this service and will be a repeat customer!

Colin arrived an hour late due to having to replace a truck belt and my wife and myself were truly grateful as we had completed emptied the rooms we wanted cleaned. He was very courteous and polite and got right to work setting up his equipment. Colin wore a protective mask through out the whole cleaning process that made my wife and myself feel quite safe having him in our home during these trying times. He pretreated all of our rugs with pet stain removal and a high traffic stain remover before starting to steam clean. He started to use a machine that lifts up the rug fibers before the steam cleaning and once completed he steamed all areas agreed upon. Once the rugs were completed he cleaned up his equipment and then came back and raked all of our carpets to show the mat as we wanted it. With that being said we feel we got the best possible result from this experience with Colin Croteau and would highly recommend him and use his firm again
