I needed my carpets cleaned and had called COIT. Then I was picking up some stuff I had at Malkins and saw the carpet cleaning service. They were more than 1/2 the price of COITS quote so I went with Malkins. That’s even with COITS 40% discount. Nigel showed up and even removed stains that COIT said could not be removed. Awesome work, awesome company and employees. Hope this helps. My 2cts.

The bad reviews of Malkin Cleaners are ALL politically motivated by malicious individuals who want to destroy Nigel Malkin because he's a good man who cares about our community. These bad reviews have nothing to do with drycleaning, as you can see by reading them, and have been written by anonymous trolls who are too cowardly to attach their name to them. Malkin Cleaners is an excellent dry cleaner. Read my positive experience below... I took a 60-year-old cotton and wool reversible jacket of my father's to Malkin Cleaners to see if they could get rid of the "curry" odour that it acquired at a different dry cleaner 10 years ago. Since then, I have tried different cleaners, but not one could rid it of that odour. So I decided to take it to Malkin Cleaners because it's only a couple of blocks from my new condo. The counter attendant told me that Malkin's has a special service to treat smoke-related and other odours. Ozone treatment? I can't remember, but when I picked it up and got it home, that curry odour was completely gone. Thank you, Malkin Cleaners. Next project... a stained chair seat.

Truly disappointed. Brought in our living room area rug for a good cleaning. I was asked about specific stains but I explained it just needed a good clearn as there was an odour. We have kids. Just spills over time. It is a high pile rug so I was so happy to find such a good reviewed company to clean the rug! And I picked it up and it was all wrapped in plastic. I anticipated to unroll it and it would be clean and smelling like a good cleaner! Well that wasn't the case. It still smelled and when I rolled it out it hardly looked like it had been thoroughly vacuumed out. Very unhappy. I will consider a more ma and pa store that will actually take time and consider the product that they are returning to me. And if you can't return a product you're satisfied with then notify the customer!

To Mr. MALKINS detractors, why don't you actually use his services instead of being obvious uneducated trolls, another words truly grow up and get a life... As the the Creek issue he is correct. Cypress Creek, Willow Creek and Lawson Creek have done more property damage over the past almost 55yrs than all the other creeks in West Vancouver, combined. All this pipe issue is to be politically correct for the ultimate benefit of the British Pacific Properties as they slowly build mega properties above the Upper Levels Highway.

We had a major scare with some potential water damage so we called Nigel at Malkin and gave him a run down of the situation. He explained that it probably wasn't enough to warrant having them come in and do an assessment and suggested monitoring it on our own for the next 72 hours before reevaluating what needed to be done. We had NO idea what we were supposed to do and he easily could have sent some people over and charged our uninformed selves a bunch of money, but instead gave us free advice and was very friendly and happy to provide us with an honest response. We appreciate the professionalism and hopefully will not have to do business with them ever, but they will be the ones we call if something major does happen.

I have used Malkin Cleaners for business and home. They are very affordable and do a great job. The staff are friendly and very respectful while working in your home or business. It is also worth noting that I their availability is usually pretty good. I have mostly used them for carpet cleaning however they can also clean curtains, upholstery etc.

I was looking for a reliable dry cleaner in West Vancouver, thought this would be the one, but it is terribly hard to get to. I get around by bus and it's as if this neighbourhood only caters to cars. Wish there was a reliable way to get here by transit, but until then, will have to do my dry cleaning elsewhere.
