Unfortunately this is an awful laundry mat to go too, both of my visits have been stressful and I will probably drive farther to use a different facility next time. -half of the washers are out of order (Or have no sign and won't work/ have water in them still) -coin machine was out of change -forgotten belongings are scattered across the place - garbage is left on tables - and the general atmosphere is run down , dated , and just plain sad . Will not be going back as this has been the same for both of my visits.

Every time I visit Welland, this is my GO TO laundromat. It’s always exceptionally clean, and workers and manager are so friendly and helpful, and it’s just an all around great experience. This is the place to go!

This laundromat has definitely stepped up their game! They have someone there full time, and they offer a great wash and fold service. It was 100% worth the money to pick up my clothes clean and professionally folded. Very clean laundromat, definitely only going here for my laundry!

I came here on a whim because my washer stopped working. I can say that I’m pleasantly surprised by this laundromat, it’s extremely clean well kept. Upon walking in I was greeted by the owner, katie who was quick to ask me if I needed any help. At first I was unsure how to start the washer but she was able to help me and even gave me tips on how to properly wash my duvet cover. Her energy really makes the atmosphere feel great. It’s nice to know that this laundromat has someone here when need be. I have gone to other laundromats in this area in the past and they certainly do not match up to the standard that Home Style Coin Laundromat has set for themselves.

I was visiting Hamilton/Welland Ontario area as my husband and I want to move there. My husband is very clumsy and spilled coffee from the hotel into my suitcase! So, we looked up laundromats and found this one. The woman working there Katie was great, she helped with our laundry and told us about Welland as she just recently moved to Ontario area! It was quick and easy and clean! Thanks again!

Been using this coin laundry for just over a year now. And I have to say the new owners are amazing!! Change machine is very convenient and I appreciate that being in there. I have had multiple times where a machine would not be working and the owners were always quick to reply and re pay any lost coins or to fill change machine when needed. Very nice people who are doing there best to make it as good as an experience as they can. I recently had them do a wash and fold service on the weekend and they did not hesitate even though it said mon-fri. Clothes were very well organized folded and even labeled!! I recently had clothing stolen due to fault of my own and they were very generous to help me in anyway that they could even though they did not need to. I highly recommend this place and don't be shy to call them when needed because they are great people willing to make things right. Thank you guys so very much!

Went in had no coin machine. Went next door to see if i could get coin from avondale ..no. Put everything back in car went to carwash got change . Came back. Loaded it up put coins in. It ate the money for loonies and had to pull everything out. No one to talk to for help other then a phone number of which it says an hour to get back. Who has the time to waste. Already my money in machines that dont work and no coin machine for change. Highly dissappoited. Waste of time money and detergent. When this was run with péople there amazing. Now. Absolutely a huge waste of time money and not worth going too.

Best place to go in my opinion: had trouble with a machine after paying for it, so I called the number provided and the lady went above and beyond by helping me get a new washer and gave me money for drying which saved me breaking more bills that day. One of the most pleasant owners, and are always chatty and nice.

I've been living in Welland for the last 2 years and homestyle is my go to laundry. It's clean, they've got Wi-Fi, they've got I clean washroom. They have a comfy couch and chairs. And the prices are cheaper than other laundromats that I have found. The proprietors Nathan and Katie are a husband and wife team and literally two of the most genuine authentic nicest people I have ever met in my life. They have began a very reasonably priced wash and fold service in fall 2021. If you ever have a problem with a machine when the owners aren't there, Nathans personal cell phone number is posted and he will respond and refund you very quickly.

Dryers lack heat. No staff on site. Costly, as the machines are unreliable. Washroom had no tissue. If you can, choose an alternate option.

Was there at 2:30/3:00pm on a Tuesday, no staff on site to be found. 2 heavy duty washers did not turn on after inserting appropriate coins. However there were no signs, ANYWHERE, to indicate how much each machine cost to operate. $16 later moved clothes to Reg washers. Only one of the two would function, the inoperable one ate $8 of my money. Oh I'm not done yet...inserted a $20 bill into the change machine provided (red light to indicate no change available NOT on) I received no change. There are no signs with an emergency phone number to call for help, the wine store next to laundromat that folds the clothes stated he wasn't provided with such a number (I must look pretty stupid). Frustrated beyond belief I decided to leave a note quickly explaining my experience included name and number so I could be called presumably at 11pm when they close. I drove back to laundromat before closing and surprise surprise NOT a soul in sight!!! No call, even though my note was gone, garbage a emptied, and my out of order signs removed! I don't back down that easily Homestyle laundry...I want my money back. This is sorriest excuse for a business I've ever had the misfortune of entering!!!! NEVER to return and I will warn anyone and EVERYONE!!!!

Under new management since July and you can tell things have gotten much better. Most all machines work, the change machine is full and if there are any issues there is a number posted to call. There is also an attendant on site Monday - Friday between 9am - 2pm. The Wash & Fold is back and there is a Turn Over service.

Deffinatley will never be going back to this laundry mat. Not only do my clothes come out soaked everytime i sat there and tried to dry my clothes for 45mins come to find out the dryer isnt blowing hot air and when u put the coins in hurry and press start the stupid machines start counting down weather u press start or not. So overall just go somewhere else i know i will be

They are trying to offer best service they can and you can tell that with cleanliness they provide and posted messages to customers. Sometime broken machines. But really.. that's gunna happen anywhere. Reccomned over all others in Welland.

Most machines don’t work ....... and the ones that do might not work either . A lot of the machines will take half your money than not the rest so your stuck trying another one . I was lucky today the owner was in and felt my machine and let me know it didn’t dry I went on about it and putting a sign on it cause clearly if she is feeling if it’s warm or not she knows that’s there is a problem with it come to think about it pretty sure that’s was the same machine as the last time it happened to me , but she was nice enough to recommend another laundry mat on southward so I also would recommend that laundry mat , thanks for the recommendation. Bottom line is the machines usually don’t work I would say more than half the dryers have signs on them and the other half is a gamble if they will work ...... say your money and time and try the other laundry mat the owner recommended on southward !!!!!!!!

Should definitely need an updated photos. As the ones posted are when it first open. Recently decided to try this laundry mat. And it was digusting, washers are not being cleaned.. see some that are full of pet hairs( this is after being used) And the dryers? Man, they even have a list of what dryers are the best to use. And half of their dryers has a note “sorry, temporarily unavailable” and the other half are not even getting hot at all. Their dryer machines looks very worn down.. great location though. However, management do need to attend to their machines or get new ones.. and hopefully keep up with the cleaning, especially with this pandemic. …. First and last time using this facility. If you want a clean laundry mat. Look somewhere else.
