Will be reporting this business to Better Business Bureau! I always do a Yelp or Goggle ratings and reviews before selecting a vendor. I selected UCM for urgent duct cleaning because of their high ratings. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to schedule me for Friday morning, which worked out perfectly for me. They quoted me $195 for "basic" duct cleaning - again no issue. On the morning of the service, I got a call from their technician asking if we were going to get the service or just looking to get a quote. I told him we getting the service done today as we need to move in soon. The technician told me it would be close to $1000 for a full service and then said $887! I called the office back and customer service told me that $195 was just of basic service. I told them I was fine with basic service. Then they said their technicians are busy today and can't do it until Sunday. When I agree to Sunday they said they will vacuum over the vents only and will not go into any of the vent. Basically, they are looking to get out of doing the service. The worst part is that they chased my business - they called me back twice to see if I was ready to schedule something!

I hired them for cleaning the carpet. The cleaning guy came in and was doing each rooms very fast. From what I’ve seen in other places, each stroke should be done very slowly so that the dirt/dust is grabbed by the machine. Also, they’ve got bad business practice. On the phone they said it would cost a certain amount and when the guy arrived, he said it’s only basic cleaning which includes only water. To add shampoo, it’s double the cost. Not at all satisfied and will not be giving business to them anymore. From reading other reviews, it seems this is their usual tactic.
