It was great to use Zerorez. The Carpets are clean (I even smelled them). One particular room was BAD, and they fixed most of it, all without harsh chemicals! I have a space of 1300 square feet and for 5 rooms and a walk-in closet, was 200$.

We have been using zero rez for three years now consistently. It has really helped maintain the quality of our carpets. The technician are friendly and professional. I love their pet treatment really cleans down to the pad of the carpet. Its always nice when they finish it looks like we have new carpet. No stickiness, no connecting their equipment to our faucets or down our toilet, and they have never damaged any of our stuff. We originally worked with a competitor and when they were done we were so disappointed with the carpets; they smelled chemically and was stiff feeling, it was gross. Our new base boards were scuffed up. It was not what we wanted. We called zero rez to fix what the other company had down and haven't ever though of using a different one.

I’m bummed to leave a review like this, but it may be helpful for others. I paid $180 to have 2 small rooms, and 6 upholstered chairs cleaned. The chairs look like they weren’t cleaned, but I was told this is the cleanest they would get. And they still had me pay full price for the chair cleaning, even though they didn’t get clean. The carpet in my sons room still smells like throw up, which is the reason we wanted it cleaned. And the living room floor didn’t even get the couch indentations out of the floor, so definitely didn’t get a deep clean. And it left my house smelling like mildew. The tech was very nice, but I’m not impressed with the quality or price.

I paid extra for the pet treatment but my carpet looks no different after they came, you can still see the stain. Same with another stain on my carpet, it looks identical to before they came. My kids also got some marker stains on my carpet that I could get out if I scrubbed by hand, but I just hadn’t gotten around to it. The marker stains were still there after the guy left. He also never told me he was leaving or asked me if it looked ok, he just left and then I got an invoice text. Won’t be hiring these guys again.

Exploitative bait and switch upsale upon arrival isn't fair to the techs or customers. $75-$100 for a "bacteria killer pre-treatment" that anyone can buy anywhere for $5 was real disheartening. Why not just allow people to tip instead of "incentivizing" techs with that lameness? (It's just my guess that that is that's the reason for the upsale). Here's what only two year old carpet looked like after Zerorez. I think there's a reason "real soap" has made sense for so long. Kinda like when Apple removed the mic jack from phones. Yay. Fun. New. Innefective. Back to the old school for me. Gonna call the usual guys and not tell them I tried "zerorez" first. I'll add an "after" pick when they're done.

Our service was quick and efficient. We used a different company last year and they had the same project as this year but took twice as long. I also didn’t think my carpet was cleaned as well by the other company. Zerorez did a great job and I can tell because my carpet and furniture seem brighter, even our garage stairs! We had a rough experience with Zerorez in SLC today. The window they gave us for service was 8am - 11:45am. They told us we would get notified 45 minutes before the technicians showed up. We have 5 little kids and a busy Saturday ahead of us. We counted on that 45 minute warning to get the kids ready and ourselves ready. So much so that we woke up and called THEM at 8:30 or so to ask if they had any idea of when they would be coming. They assured us that we’d have the notification and that “it’s 8:30 now so I’m sure you’ll be a later appointment.” So the wife hops in the shower and I lay back down. 8:40 comes a knock at the door. Kids aren’t ready. Wife is in the shower. Just ridiculous. The techs were great. They waited outside while we hurried and got our little family ready (maybe 10 min?) then we walked through and he gave me my bid. It came out almost exactly double the bid they gave us over the phone. They gave us a little discount ($30ish) but we won’t be using them again. Our whole street used Pinks and were all raving because they only paid $150 and loved it. We paid double that and it was a terrible experience.

I called and scheduled an appointment. They scheduled me for the next day with a time slot from 11:30 - 3:00. At 3:00, I called to see if there was a time line for when they might be arriving to my house and they informed me that I wasn't on the schedule for their drivers but they did have me on the schedule?!?! What ever that means. I had moved my furniture, found child care for my children and wasted a whole day for nothing. Unimpressed with their customer service and their complete lack of trying to manage their mistake.

Communication was excellent (ie. appt reminders, what to do in prep for the appt, etc) and ease of scheduling was good. Would only recommend that the technician use booties over his shoes to not track dirt, etc from the outside, as he's going in and out of the home. Not having covers for shoes is counter-productive to the carpet cleaning.

Zerorez was MUCH faster than I expected. We had four rooms and a hallway done and it only took them about 40 minutes from the time they knocked on the door. They were careful not to make marks anywhere on the walls or furniture and the carpets looked and felt brand new when they were done! Hands down the best part was their customer service. Making the appointment, making changes to the booking and getting the discount applied were handled quickly and professionally, and the two men who came to clean the carpets were extremely friendly and kind. Absolutely will be using again!

He was able to get out most of our stains but we still have a pesky charcoal stain that I sure will be here forever! All food and pet stains are gone including lipstick. Gotta love kids. First I would like to say that even though we did not have a super great experience with the cleanliness of our carpets that everyone that we spoke to as well as our technician was very very kind and polite and had a professional attitude, I do not want to sound like I am bashing or trying to insult the company or any specific person. That being said, we built our home brand new and have been living here for 7 years with the vast majority of that time being only myself and my husband who have lived here. Our carpets were in quite good shape without hardly any visible dirt but we knew that just general wear and tear there would be deep down dirt that we thought it would be a good idea to get a professional cleaning to keep our carpets looking great. We got four bedrooms, three hallways, a large set of stairs, and a large living room and entryway done. The cleaning service was very quick, so quick in fact that we couldn't help but wonder if a very thorough job had been done. Once the carpet dried I could see in our living room that it looked exactly the same. Our living room is next to the kitchen and was the dirtiest of all the areas with some spots from very tiny food spills and such from over the years. I wasn't super thrilled with how the living room looked so I called and had the technician come back to redo it, this time he was very very thorough and the living room ended up looking great. However, I started thinking to myself that if my living room, with visible dirt spots and very small food spills was still dirty the first time then the rest of the house must not have received a very deep clean. I decided to do an experiment and I taped off a small portion of my bedroom and five of my stairs with painters tape and I cleaned those two areas with my handheld Bissel. Well the results were pretty shocking, the dirt that came out of these areas only a week and a half after my professional cleaning with zero res was totally a dark gray-brown, filthy. This is disheartening to say the least when you've spent nearly $400 on a "professional" cleaning. I wish very much that I could get some of my money back. Perhaps it is the method that is used or maybe we just got a major rush job but our carpets I can see, are definitely not deeply cleaned like I was expecting. Huge bummer, feel like we wasted a lot of money. I took pictures of my experiment, hope I can try to post them.

Scheduling an appointment was easy, although it did take a while to get in touch with someone to do so. The office overbooked my technician, which caused him to be a couple of hours late arriving, but they did offer a discount for the inconvenience. The technician, Drew, was very professional and polite. He explained everything clearly to me and made sure I was satisfied with the services before he left. He also made an extra effort to engage with my toddler who was curious and interested in what he was doing. Because of the technician, I will be a return customer.

After having my carpets 'cleaned' they were crunchy. The stain I pointed out to have especially treated is still there. They basically wet your carpet with no cleaning solution, it seems. You can't clean dirt without a cleaning solution. If they use one, it doesn't do a thing. I've heard the information going around saying that cleaning solutions attract dirt. Well, cleaning solutions clean dirt, and dirt is getting on my carpet from using it.

They came in and ran a cleaner over the 8 rms hall and 2 sets of stairs. They did not remove dirty marks and I could still see where beds, stair wraps, ect.. had been. This is my first time calling them because of all the good reports I have heard, but I won’t use them again. I have used my own carpet cleaning equipment in the past and been much more successful in cleaning out the dirty spots, but decided because of time constraints to try the professional. Bad decision.

Do not get the carpet protector! Overall they have great service and are very polite from A-Z. My only complaint is the upsell after they clean your carpet. They offer a carpet protector for $30-90/rm which the benefits sounds great if you want it and they weren’t pushy about it. So we went with it. The problem is the way they apply it. They just quickly sprayed around each room. Kind of just standing in the middle hoping it will reach the edges and then they leave. Seeing the mist in the air like that didn’t seem particularly healthy ether. Literally took less than 5 minutes to apply to the whole house. That all seemed odd to me. So I looked up the chemical and it turns out it requires a lot more detail to apply correctly and according to the manufacture it should be raked into the fibers with a Grandi Groom rake or use a soft brush to brush it into the fibers. That being said I still recommend their carpet cleaning service but absolutely do not suggest getting the protector. which is too bad because it sounds like a great thing to have. Hopefully they’ll start applying it correctly. Until then if you want to protect your carpets you’ll have to find someone else.

Our technician/manager, Eric, was timely, communicative, polite, and very professional. He took great care of our home, including using protective corners on the baseboards. He spot-treated a few areas for us, that came up great, and a general clean for the rest. The carpets looked wonderful afterwards. The carpets dried very quickly. Prices competitive. We had most of the house done and we have 15 year old quality carpet and it is clean. No miracles though. The dingy spots are still dingy. Disappointed that it will take 12-24 hours to dry, not 4-8 hours as expected. Also, website said he would use fans to speed up the drying process, but I never saw him use any fans.

Our carpets and tile were in desperate need of cleaning. We have a cat and he has had several bathroom accidents in various places all over our carpet. Our technician was Richard, and he was SO professional, SO friendly, and extremely clear and straightforward about the work that needed to be done. He did two rooms worth of carpet and one room and a hallway worth of tile all in an hour and a half. I expected this to take at least a few hours, but Richard works quickly but efficiently and our floors seriously look brand new. I am obsessed! Thank you so much Richard!!

We have had Zerorez clean our carpets 3 or 4 times over the years. We are always happy with their work and their customer service and love that they don't use harsh chemicals. We took advantage of a spring cleaning sale this month and had them come back yesterday afternoon. They let me know upfront my appointment window would be in the afternoon and what time to expect a call from the technician before he arrived. He ended up being able to come earlier, so they called and let me know that as well. Steve did a quick walk- through with me, we agreed on the price, and he got right to work. When he was done, we put booties over our shoes and inspected the work together; it looked great! He got out a couple tough stains for me this time. I paid for the service and he was on his way. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the carpets did seem wet all through the night and the slight citrus scent was a little much for my sensitive nose (it didn't bother anyone else in my family though--it's not strong). I would definitely recommend them for carpet cleaning! We have also had them clean our air ducts in the past and will do that again as well.

Hunter was extremely knowledgeable regarding literally everything associated with carpet, tile, and cleaning. I was very specific in letting them know I would need them to bring the portable unit. I told them how many feet from the street that my condo is. I asked a few times for them to be sure to either bring enough hose or a portable unit. They did neither. I moved all my stuff and they did the pre spray stuff and then realized they wouldn’t be able to clean the carpet. They told me I’d have to reschedule. I tried multiple times. I left a message and still haven’t heard back. I wish it would have worked out. I really liked the idea of no residue on the carpets and the price was good ($33 per room). We had our entire house cleaned in 3 phases so we could move all the furniture out of the rooms getting cleaned. Our home is 30 years old and I don't know for sure but I think the original carpets are still in but they are in pretty good shape, just needed a cleaning. After several of the rooms and the stairs were cleaned, I could see dirt streaks still in the carpet. At first I thought it was just the wet carpet and once it dried the streaks would disappear, not so. I thought after vacuuming it a couple of times they would go away, not so. I had zerorez come back and redo those rooms and the staircase (which they did for free) but it didn't make much of a difference. The streaks are still there. The redo job also was really really fast so I don't think they were very thorough the 2nd time and the carpets dried in about 4 hours vs 12 + hours the first time through. It will take a long time for your carpets to dry even with fans blowing on them the entire time. The employees were very kind and did a great job of protecting the corners of the rooms to keep the walls from getting scraped but one of them left puddles on my staircase which got in the wood and now it shows a watermark on it that I can't get out. I will not waste my money on having them come back next time I need my carpets cleaned. Soap really does work a lot better even if it does leave a residue.

They gave me a call, first 45 minutes before arrival, then again 20 minutes before, which was very much appreciated! They provided great service. After the black light check (which is really cool), the options for the “ non guaranteed bio topical treatment” were presented. Frankly, if I’m getting my carpet cleaned, I would expect that whatever is on my carpet would get cleaned up as part of the process and not require anything extra. So basically, we felt like the advertised service is not good enough to get out normal stains... I like the premise of no residue after the cleaning, but if a shampoo or other treatment from another company would clean my carpets better without the added up sell treatment, I would question the value of the advertised price of Zerorez.

Was pleased that they showed up on time and within the scheduled window. Liked the fact that there were supposed to be no chemicals left behind, but also worried that the cleaning will not be as effective. Overall carpets looked good and appear clean (although slightly dusty/dank smelling). After the carpets dry we can truly tell how effective the cleaning was. Tile cleaning that was performed was expensive and likely not worth the cost. Grout looked better, but centers of tiles looked largely uncleaned. The tech said it may be pre-spray left behind, but I thought that the big pitch for zerorez is nothing left behind. Glad I got everything cleaned, but not sure the value was there for cost paid. Technician was very professional and friendly.

I had Zerorez come out to clean my couch. It was looking really good until it was fully dry. I noticed a few grayish streaks on my couch on one of the arms and one of the cushions. Since I have a white couch, these errors are very noticeable. This makes me believe that they skimp out on fully removing all the dirt from a couch, in a hurry to get to the next home. If this was a brown or grey couch, you would have never seen it so just be aware. However, the rest of the couch they did take the time on looks great and almost brand new.

My experience with Zerorez might have been one of the most unimpressive, underwhelming, and flat out disappointing services I’ve ever used. I had about 1300 sq ft of area and a standard set of stairs cleaned. From the time the technician arrived until the time he was “finished”, paid and gone it was 24 minutes. Keep in mind that includes walking my area to be cleaned with me, set up, and break down of hoses and accompanying equipment. I was skeptical of the service I had just received so I rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned the areas again myself. The amount of dirt I pulled out on my own was disgusting considering I had just barely gotten them “cleaned”. Zerorez is a gimmick and I can’t, for the life of me, understand how they continue to get business. All they did was leave me with wet dirty carpet. I will never recommend them to any friend, or family member.

Both of the technicians were great to work with they did try to upsell me in the beginning but I asked him just to clean my carpets and they never suggested another service after that. I was disappointed as I went outside in the backyard while they did the work only to come in to discover they did not move the couch or chairs out of the way. I asked about that and was was told they were not allowed to move furniture. Had I known that beforehand I would’ve made sure to move it myself the technician claimed I should’ve seen that information in an email. I looked through my emails and never received one so I reached out to the company and they had an incorrect email address for me. Edit: I was contacted again by Zerorez, they resolved all my issues and left us a happy customer that will strongly consider using their services in the future. I now recommend this company based on how it was handled. Anyone considering hiring this company should look elsewhere. We had them do a $350 air duct cleaning after finishing our basement, and even though they were more expensive they had good reviews so we figured you pay for quality. While they were at our house they told my wife she needed to pay an additional $100 to do a complete job, and we don't appreciate being up-sold onsite after agreeing to a set price for obviously a complete job. Then after they left my wife looked into one of our vents and saw a ton of debris left. She took our vacuum and vacuumed it out and it looks like the second picture posted. I called, upset about the $100 up-selling and the fact they didn't do their job to begin with, and was told it was a serious issue so the VP would call me back. She did, and told me she would talk with the man that did the work and get back to me with a resolution the following day. That was August 23rd. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that things just got busy, but it's been a month. Terrible work done and terrible customer service, all the way up the chain.

Not a reliable company; very unprofessional! Do not waste your time as they do not care about their customers! Our appointment time was 11:30-4pm; and outrageous time frame but we went for it anyways. I called around 2pm the day of my appointment and was told that I was the last appointment and my technician would be NO later than 4pm start time; not the case. That would have been useful information in the beginning of the day… I called at 3:50 and said I still have not heard from the technician and asked when they would be showing up and she said sorry he will be an hour late. I stated how unprofessional it was and how unsatisfactory the service has been so far and the lady says; okay great do you have any other questions? I literally said nope and I guess I’ll just wait and she said okay byyyeeeee. Lol sooooo bad! I would go with someone else but at this point my house is torn apart and I just want it done now.
