So I go online tell them I’m interested in a vehicle and I have a trade, send pictures and everything else that they wanted! Two days go by I hear nothing, send messages no reply. So then the automotive manager takes over, and what do you know, SURPRISE , that’s right no call back , i’m sorry he did call back, phone rang twice I picked up and the sales manager hung up (Eddie) so there you have it rude rude rude all through the shop!!

The Township Chev GM Service Department has deteriorated greatly from previous visits I have made. The new Service Advisor was very inexperienced and seemed to take more interest in up selling unneeded repairs instead of providing the reliable and trustworthy GM Certified service I have had here in the past. My appointment took over four hours to complete and it was an MVI and an annual brake service. This GM Dealer tried to use non OE aftermarket brake parts that were over inflated in price. When I requested OE GM parts I was quoted a largely inflated price to try and discourage my OE parts request. I later found out they had no OE parts in stock. In the end I ended up paying well over what I was quoted when I booked the service. To make matters worse I left Township Chev with brakes that were not functioning properly and signed off as MVI “passed” by the GM Certified Technician. When I got home I received a text message from Township Chev asking me to leave a five star review and in return I would receive a free car wash! I was so insulted by this bribe and still squirming from the customer service I received that I contacted the business owner. When I explained what happened he offered an apology and an invitation to return snd have a talk with him. He explained it sounded like there was a “communication issue” and he wanted to know what could be done to fix this and prevent future occurrences. I declined the invitation because it came across as very insincere and an obvious “flag waving” attempt. He would not even own up to what his business just did to a dedicated GM customer of 45 years. His parting response was “thank you for the feedback.” I ended up telling him that he should already know what needed to be done without another visit by myself. I have since ordered online the required GM OE parts at less than half the price quoted by Township. I will not return to this dealer for Certified GM service. I an very disappointed in the service I received and in the Owners lack of an acceptable resolution. Buyer be aware! This GM Service Department is going downhill.

Friendly service and they did a great job too. I had a few scuffs across my bumper and they buffed them out. No sign of the scuffs now! And the wash and wax they did was great. My car is back to shining like the day it came off the lot.

Just bought a new car from township. And I have to say what an experience. I was expecting to go in and have to haggle, or at least jump through hoops to get what I wanted. But instead was greeted with smiles. And they were able to find exactly what I needed in no time at all. Some of the workers even came in early just to make sure there was no hiccups in the process. If I knew buying a car would have been this easy. I would have done it a long time ago.

I purchased a new Chevy Spark. I needed a model with a manual transmission. My dealership did not have one in stock however they found one and diverted its scheduled delivery to receive it locally. The process went smooth and both Shawn and Misha did an excellent job finding the car and getting it to me even through COVID restrictions and provincial border issues. I brought my pick up in for an oil change and tire rotation my appointment was at 7:30 AM I asked the service advisor that I needed it to be on the road by 8:30 AM I went to the waiting room they thoroughly checked my truck over they had to change the air filter and the cabin filter rotate my tires changed my oil check all my fluids and my truck was ready for me to go at 8:29 AM one minute ahead of schedule I was very happy and like always I am always pleased with the service at Township Chevy great job guys and girls Corey M

My Colorado overheated, had them check for leaks as coolant was empty. They replaced a clamp on the rad hose, 8 dollar clamp ,,, total for bill $260.00 ... not a good way to retain customers. do not recommend them.

If I went on the interaction I had with Kim and Lynn then I would have been able to make my first visit to Township a 5 star experience! I Booked my appointment with Township as I was not able to get into Hillsides for a few more weeks and wanted to get my winter tires off. My appointment was at 10am it took 2 hrs for them to change my tires, I believe this is a ridiculous amount of time to change a set of tires. I will go back to Hillsides for the rest of my service, they even give you a free car wash!

I’ve been driving for 37 years and I’ve bought approximately 9 new cars in my lifetime and from many of the top brands that come to most NA buyer”s when they think of cars. I’ve never owned a chevalier oddly enough. So I went to the Chev dealership called Townsend in Summerside. I’d actually never heard of it, but I thought why not. I absolutely no expectations…if anything, based on my many previous experiences, my expectations where low…but what a wonderful shock to be treated to service that operated as efficient as well oiled machine, with each professional having a specific role in the process. But I never for a moment felt lost or confused by the process. Everything was explained at the exact right time and when we were done we were very happy with the streamlined efficiency we had just experienced! I recommend everyone just go there and take a look!

I wish i could give 3.5 stars.... Sales: Banky was a superstar here. He worked with my pricepoint. Which is admittedly fairly low. On a used vehicle. Come out with a 13 cruze 1.8L appeared to be in great shape besides a rocker panel. I have no beef with that as my pricepoint was again low. Issues with the coolant system start shortly after purchase (near 3 months) and now we get to service: The service manager is awesome. Fair, polite, will work towards issue resolution with a mutually positive outcome. Service advisors: this can be hit or miss. Kim has been great and even tries to do what she can even with our service contract (ext warranty) provider who is sometimes less than cooperative (shout out to agreements section in sales for advising to get one. Worth it). Other advisors feel like they have a goal of pushing you through and charging a quota of diagnostics time. 1.5h for an issue thats throwing a code with obvious symptoms is far too long just to see whats wrong) courtesy car issues are likely out of their control at the moment. No beef there as they at least will give you a cab one way or another. With the right techs this could be 5 stars all day every day. But 4 visits to diagnose a water pump 2 visits to diagnose a sensor that was mentioned as worth checking by the client thats unacepptable. Kim and Marvin have retained me at this point. Communication is so important and those 2 are great at it.
