Sadly since the OG owner passed away 3 yrs ago, Edgils customer service has drastically change to the worse. Ive spoken too many x-clients of theres and Edgil has either banned them from the store or like me, they wont even service the pool Edgil built! Again like many other clients now we seek other companies in Brantford. Yay for brantford now getting alot of new clients cause of there HORRIBLE service. Change managment and stop refusing PAYING customers!!!

They did a good job fixing a leak in my pool this summer. It was just a simple fix of a broken pipe beside my filter. They also closed the pool for me this year. I recommend them.

Not a company we would recommend to anyone !!! AFTER YEARS of opening and closing are pool and hot tub while always having to pay extra charges which we paid everytime. We had issues with a pool leak and after my wife and myself had conversations with Joe the owner at Edgil Pools MULTIPLE TIMES we found out while replacing the liner that the leak was from a return line. Why pay a pool company to open and close a pool at 500 to 600 dollars a visit to do the job right or they will fix it . .Thats why you pay a company to open and close your pool because they are liable if its not done right. Beware of this company that will take your money but not except any responsibility for their work.

They came in April to remove the liner for the pool as we needed it replaced. Didn’t assess any damage or work that needed to be done at that time. Now have been waiting since then to have the liner put in and they came today, said a pipe is broken and “don’t have time today”. They just left, didn’t secure another date or anything?? Like what kinda service is that? Said it’s possible they won’t get back for another month?? Bad , bad business practices.

I have used this pool store for most of my purchases, but today will probably be the last time. I wanted to simply purchase 3 bags of sand for my filter. I shouldn't have to argue with a teenage girl who doesnt want to sell it to me because "you know we have customers who go 18-20 years without changing it".. so I explain that mine is 6 years old and I've had issues with my pool so i want to change it. "but you really dont have to" .. who cares??? I WANT TO!. I've been running my pool longer than this girl has been out of diapers and i'm pretty sure I know what i want to do, I want to fix my issues by following the filter manufacturer recommendations of how often to change the sand. Because of this experience from now on i will turn left, instead of right and drive the same distance to a "Pool Shoppe" in Hamilton where you can actually deal with an adult and not have to argue to make a purchase.

The review from the person who was not happy with Edgil is from someone who lives in the home, not the owner. I am the owner. I am personally very happy with the response that I have received from Edgil Pools. I happened to rip the pool liner last year and arranged for a new liner to be installed this year. When they arrived to install the liner, it was discovered that there was a leak in one of the underground water lines. They couldn't repair it that day and have made arrangements to get back as soon as possible to repair the line and install the liner. They, like most businesses, have been affected by Covid delays and they are doing their absolute best to get my pool working as soon as possible. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future.
