We needed rug cleaning due to an unexpected move, great customer service when I called to book. Cole was professional, on time, followed covid protocol. He was very efficient in a timely manner. The only dissappiintment I had was a few stains did not get completely removed, they appeared gone after the clean but showed up once carpets were dry. I feel a better stain remover could be used as I did and they did come out. All in all a positive experience.

Amazing Service. Excellent Technician. I requested to do a dryer vent cleaning, I had tons of garbage inside the vent in addition to stuck brushes when I was trying to clean it by myself. My dryer is not in the basement with a long line to reach to the outside. Appointment was scheduled within 48 hrs, Technician (Alex) arrived on time, The monitor truck was running in a minute and excellent service was completed. Alex was very smart and well-understand how the job to be completed. Extra work was done outside the quote, for free and he was smiling and more than happy to support and help. I recently purchased a home this spring and because of my allergies, the first thing I had done was to get the furnace and vents professionally cleaned and sanitized. All summer long my allergies were worse this year than previous years. Finnaly it dawned on me to inspect the workmanship of the furnace and duct cleaning. All looked great till I lifted the final vent which was in my bedroom. I was shocked and angry to see a huge pile of small chunks of garbage and dust right below my vent. I called the company directly to register a complaint. After examining the situation the company representative asked me what I would like to see as a resolution. I said that I would like the guy to come back and finish the job. Maybe my health would improve and allergies subside a little. Apparently this request was unreasonable of me to ask. I was told that it's been 6 months since the work was done and this pile of debris could be from anything. I told the person that was a ridiculous thing to say. It's 1 vent that I need cleaned and sanitized because obviously the worker forgot to finish that one. It's not like I'm asking for the whole house to be done again. It was reaffirmed to me that there would be no resolution in this case. I was shocked again at the disregard shown to me as a customer. Never again will my friends, family or I use this company.

We booked a carpet cleaning service a few weeks ago with Home Depot Carpet Cleaning Service in Winnipeg. Our date and time was booked for November 12th between 12-4. We have a toddler so had to do a lot of pre planning to ensure we were organized, had all furniture moved and took the afternoon off of work. We received a call at 3 pm day of notifying us that they would not be able to make it. While we were obviously disappointed we understand things happen and asked what time they would be by the next day. We were told the next available appointment would be November 20th. This was obviously unacceptable to us and expressed this to them. We were given a bevy of excuses and zero sympathy regarding how disruptive this was. We would given them zero stars if The Google would let us.

The service was very good, and Malik was very professional and prompt. The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because there was a bait and switch going on. The rep at home Depot failed to tell us that they charge for the return vents as well, which add up quickly, he even specifically said an average two storey house will have around 12 to 14 vents so we would have to pay for a couple of extra if it's over 10. We were okay with that. Then when the service rep came to the house it turned out that I had to pay $80 over the price quoted. It was a little disappointing that they did that. I was also expecting for them to lay something on the floors in my house as per video on the website, so dirt etc from the big hoses that were dragged up the stairs on the hard wood floors would be protected.

I was looking for a decent, high-value for cost and professional duct/furnace/dryer cleaning so I can turn my heat on. I got fed up with previous jobs I found on FB and Kijiji who kept on drilling holes on the ducts and damaging screws. And I found one in my walk-in @ Home Depot @ promo price in Sep. Not knowing which contractor it is, Armando showed up and he did more than what we expected and what others failed to do. He even went the extra mile of cleaning mouse poos he found and before-after photos in each duct. What an added-value! I also liked the powerful HD truck equipment he used. Worst carpet cleaning company on this planet. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. I have a brand new home they came in soaked all the carpets wouldn’t come back to suck the water out of them. Clean some upholstery completely dirty all my laminate floors throughout my entire upstairs which I had that profession cleaned afterwards. I had to borrow 20+ fans to dry up my carpets before they were ruined. Nobody from the head office would help they wouldn’t send a tech back they just took the money and ran horrible service never use these people ever!

Rather than going in to great detail as to what our experience was with Steam Dry Canada, I will say this...Lauren from the corporate offices was a complete gem and ended up being the only individual who provided a decent level of customer service after having gone a few days without heat and nothing but run arounds. I want to thank the corporate team for going the extra mile to ensure that this was no longer being dealt with at a local level and instead handled on a management level from corporate the way it should have been. We had Armando come to clean our HVAC system today, and it was LONG overdue. Probably 8 years since our last cleaning and we have a cat and have done multiple renovation projects since the last cleaning. Armando had quite a challenge with this job, but he completed it very well, in good time and I imagine with a smile on his face, but you know... masks. The whole process was painless from start to finish. I made the booking probably 6 weeks ago and requested Armando based on the many very positive reviews that named Armando specifically. I received a reminder phone call between 24-48 hours prior to the appointment. Armando showed up on time and finished within the 4 hour window. We had him do everything... 20 ducts, dryer vent and disinfectant for the whole system. I watched as he was working and the size of the dust bunnies he dislodged from the wall cavity were impressive. I can understand the previous great reviews and echo those experiences. It would have been much easier access to have Armando access the furnace from our back door, but that door is low to the ground and has let mice into the house in the past. Instead, he happily honored my request to run the vacuum line through the front door, even though it meant adding many more extensions to the vacuum. He didn't even try to suggest the back door. When all was done, he put all of the sections outside first, so that he could close the front door to let the heat rise in the house, loading the truck up after. Very considerate! I am very pleased with the work performed today and feel it was well worth the expense. I will definitely have Armando come back in 2 years to stay on top of it going forward! Thanks Armando!

Very unethical! We responded to a duct cleaning promo ad for $129. Home Depot scheduled their contractor to come. He set up his equipment etc without even confirming the service fee. Eventually he mentioned that the total cost would be $405. We told him we would not go ahead because that was WAY OUT of our budget. He advised that he would charge us a cancellation fee of $50 for setting up. Yet he should have confirmed without setting up his equip. He even warned that he was getting upset. We have small children so we did not want this to escalate. When we checked our statement they had charged us $89 for cancellation which is not written anywhere in their policy. We followed up with Home Depot and advised what had happened and to this day no response. They are very unprofessional and cost way more money for a service that you get for half the price if you research. Unfortunately, we responded to false advertising and they unethically/fraudulently charged our credit card

I booked these services in May for June 2, 2018 cleaning to ensure that the carpets would be dry before the furniture was moved into our home on June 4. The woman that booked me as well as the cleaners guaranteed 4-6 hour dry time. Arrived at our new home at 7 a.m. on June 4 to find the carpets were still wet. I immediately called the movers and they told me that they would NOT move furniture onto wet carpet. They wanted to be paid for the day and wanted me to re-book. I called Home Depot and told me the cleaner was on his day off. Eventually Kevin came to the house and accused me of leaving windows open, turning on a humidifier (which we did not have), it was to cold last night, and that it was my fault I did not call the day before (Sunday) to have this resolved. It took over 60 hours for the carpets to dry. Plan B was move all our furnishings into the garage, the basement floor, and storage unit till the carpets dried, which we did. We literally moved twice. We had a very bad experience and would never use Steam Dry Canada again. One star is only because the system would not allow me out until I xed the star!!

Today I had an appointment from 12 to 4 P.M. for air duct cleaning but they never came and didn’t even inform me about it, when I called them they told me that they would be even later and due to that my whole day off was a mess, it also shows how they really don’t care about other’s time nor their schedule.

Home Depot clearly explained the service I was asking for and what the basic costs would be also what could cause additional charges. They called ahead and arrived between the designated hours. Armando the technician was conscientious and made sure I understood the costs of the service. He also explained what the service would include. He worked efficiently and had the ducts clean and all vents cleaned in a little over an hour. He suggested I change my furnace filter which I figured I would have to but provided one good for a month so I wouldn’t have to run to the store right away to get a replacement. He was polite, professional, and personable. I would recommend The Home Depot to any of my family and friends for duct cleaning services.

Arrived as scheduled with a truck mounted vacuuming system and got right to work. Armando and Leo were very careful not to mark our walls with the cleaning equipment, very appreciated. All supply and return air vents and ducts were thoroughly cleaned and I was shown before and after photos demonstrating a thorough job. Our house was left totally clean...just very professional work. Based on this work we will use Hone Depot service for carpet cleaning in the fall.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I went to Home Depot in Winnipeg to shop and noticed this table advertising this service and I signed up. The guy came and cleaned my ducts in December 2018, but he did not replace the screen window he took out to vent his hose. There was about a foot of snow outside at that time and I did not notice the screen was off since I do not open the window during winter. I just assumed he replaced it back the way he found it. Around April after the snow has melted, I noticed the screen laying on the ground next to the Window with some damage on it, the screen came off of the frame at some edges. Some days later I went to Home Depot and spoke to the Manager about this and was toot to contact the cleaning company directly - Steam Dry Canada in Calgary directly. I called the company and I was asked by the agent to email a picture of the screen and an explanation of the situation, which I did and was informed that this case will be forwarded to the Manager Rachel. Some days later, I saw a call from this company on my phone, but no voice mail. So I called the company back and was told Rachel was on the phone and will call me back as soon as she is off the call. There was no call back that day. I subsequently called several times and told the same thing, but no call back. After a lot of calls, I was finally able to speak with Rachel who told me that since I did not report the da,age within 6 days, there is nothing the company can do. I explained to her that I could not see the screen not replaced because it was buried in the snow and that was why I did not report, but she was adamant that they will not send someone to fix the slight damage and put the screen back into the window from where they took it out. I asked to speak Rachel's Manager and she refused to transfer me and said the the Mnanger will also tell me the sa,e thing. I then called Home Depot in Winnipeg and informed them of what transpired and they told me to sne an email and they would keep a "claim" on this. I sent the email and details a few weeks ago and I still have not heard anything from Steam Dry Canada or Home Depot. Since everyone there is no screen, I have not been able to open my window to air out my basement all summer despite the heat and stale because I do not want bugs and things entering my house through the open window. Very frustrating and disappointed with Home Depot who I signed up with due what I thought a good reputation. Rachel at Steam Dry Canada needs to find another job for her unprofessionalism and not returning calls and her absurd excuses for not acting on this under the circumstances. Will never do business with Steam Dry Canada again. I will not do business with Home Depot again until this gets rectified appropriately, I will take my money to Rona.

Never showed up first day, I called after the 4 hour window was over, I was told due to some issues they will come next day between 2-6pm. Next day I called in the afternoon to make sure, they said yes we are coming then called me at 5:30pm that they are experiencing some issues and can't make it again and not for next 2 weeks. I was really upset because I moved all my furniture for the service and waited 2 days. My question is if customer cancel the service without 24hours notice they have to pay, what about when provider cancel last min twice. Please never book with them. Worst customer service.
