Shopping for product in the store is great and selection is ok. However, the service counter is under staffed and painfully slow, add the fact that returning anything in the lumber yard is also time consuming. Perhaps Kent needs to shadow Home Hardware when it comes to customer service. Hint hint... They allow debit or credit card purchases at service counter for faster service (time is money for customers). Also, redo the parking lot, it's a mess!!!!!

Well they really don’t listen to well, especially the cabinet woman I think her name is Linda she was quite rude! She got my order all wrong they refused to fix it! I told her and the contractors that I wanted a dishwasher opening in the cabinets that’s all! She still refuse To do it! Looking to milk lot of money I think she knew we got a grant to fix our home and thought we didn’t deserve it! Because she asked us how does it work? why should she care it was paid off!! She treated us like crap!! We are still paying for it!! Not kewl made us wait long time for the cabinets, oh and forgot a whole section! hard to live with no kitchen when I have a special needs kid who needs attention and kitchen all the time!!

Management needs to take a look at the FedEx pickup process. Their electronic signing pad didn't work and the PC the system is being run through is a bit inadequate and outdated if the loading times were anything to go by. The counter clerk was lovely and apologetic. Feb 27th ~1PM.

I was picking up plywood, went into the warehouse about 1/2 dozen employees just standing around. I waited then got out of my truck to give them my slip and got yelled at to get back in my truck or I wouldn't be served. I returned my slip and shipped elsewhere

Used to like them, but their inventory system is so bad it constantly wastes my time. Multiple times I've called to confirm them have stock in Summerside, only to find they don't actually have the product when I arrived. They check other stores, and tell me to drive to the Kensington store... no stock there as well.

Girl at front cash was not helpful nor did she offer any help. She became visibly offended when I suggested she find someone to assist me..the women who did assist me was very well informed and helpful. She knew from personal experience the product she was selling, she offered good suggestions and i felt confident with her advice . I thought the girl from cash could have shown more interest and listened to what the sales women said , so in future she could help another customer, but she clearly was "working the cash only" and anything else was beyond her scope of limited knowledge that would sadly remain limited

I would like to give a higher rating because every time I go into the store the staff are always really friendly and helpful; especially the front end cashiers, they're always very nice. My biggest problem is that you can NEVER get through to the department you need when you call in to ask a question; it's extremely frustrating since I live a good distance from the store and can't just run in to ask about a price or some information on a product.

The local staff is awesome its the accounting and head office people that are the issue. Had a business account for 25 years and when Kent took over had a very bad experience with the accounting people over a bill where I did nothing wrong. Closed account over a year ago and won't deal with Kent anymore as a result and I was a steady good customer for all those years.

I have gone to this store for years, and have always found the staff (esp. Barry, Paul) to be willing to bend over backwards to help. The name transition has not dropped the in-person service level a bit. They give great advice, and have become good friends. I cannot speak to calling in, nor ordering issues. I am sure that a call to corporate to give a calm complaint could be helpful to them and to you.
