Horrible company. They continuously fill the propane without notice and then send a 200 dollar plus invoice when I've told them that we are not at the cottage during the winter and I will call when we need a refill.

Our family has been using Georgian Bay Propane for well over a half Century! Our Propane stove pilot light would not stay on. I spoke to them, got some tips on what to try, cleaning it etc. The last one was replace the Thermocouple. I got the item from the store, was given a few tips, job is done!! Stove is working well. (Knock on wood!!) Thank you GBP!!

Run as quickly as you can from this company. They're are very dishonest. If you are a cottager shop around for the per litre price they are easily double the price. I challenged them on their price 4 years ago. It wasn't until I decided I had enough and purchased our own tank because I no longer wanted to be handcuffed to one company that I realized how much they were ripping us off. What they were charging us in propane for 1 year we haven't used in 4 years. And givrn the price drop we have been consuming more as we have beem keeping the cottage warmer. Within 2 years our new propane tank more than paid for itself. I suspected that they we claiming to fill more than they were actually filling. 4 times more per year based on our experience over the last 4 years. When we challenged them on price they came and took the tank full of propane and the rental was paid for another 2 months without notifying us. Not pleasant to get to the cottage in the spring to realize we had no propane to cook or heat the cottage with. I had to take them to court to get our money back.

I have been with Georgian Bay Propane since I bought a Unique fridge and stove from them about five years ago. My reviews for the stove would not be complimentary but the service staff at Georgian Bay have been excellent despite the stove being off warranty for some time.

If I was able to leave a lower rating I would . I have never been more disgusted and appalled by the service I received today from Georgian propane . I am not a customer , yet I had a delivery man come onto my property clearly labeled private everywhere and tell me “he’s just taking a dump” when I asked him to get off my private property he’s laughed and told me to call the cops and his boss to say hi .... I have this mans truck number and when I called the company they showed NO sympathy what so ever, the response was ok. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, no respect for you or your property.

I service their trucks at an automotive shop in town, they are all very polite and down to earth people. My first day away on vacation the furnace at the shop quit working. Before I knew it they had been there and fixed it, couldn't be more happy with the speedy service and great quality of work! Thank you to Chris and the great team at georgian bay propane!
