I hired Jaiko in June to repair some drywall with water damage, specifically asking if there was a plumbing issue I needed to address. The rep I spoke with said all was fine, no leaks in the pipes, he would know, and charged me $500. Four months later, the wall is rotted through, there is definitely a plumbing issue and the same guy tells me that Jaiko is unable to do the repair (again) and refers me elsewhere. In short, Jaiko doesn't stand behind their overpriced work. Update: The owner responded to my review to say they stand behind their work and would contact me to resolve this and then never got in touch. About what I expected from Jaiko at this point.

What can't I say about Jaiko Cleaning Services and the owner Konrad Quinn!? The service is amazing, the supplies are environmentally friendly and the work is exceptional!! But beyond the service which is of the highest quality in our community, Konrad Quinn, the owner, supports local, supports charities, fundraisers, other entrepreneurs, friends in need, helps when disasters strike, and is so generous and genuine. He literally makes everyone around him smile and feel good and asks nothing in return. True kindness and compassion at its finest!! They provide both Residential and Commercial Cleaning services in and around the Ottawa area, so I highly recommend that you support this local entrepreneur who gives so freely to our local community!! I wasn’t convinced they were going to do a better job than I did on my carpet because I bought and used every single type of expensive carpet cleaner on the market but my friend swore by them. A lady named Shelly explained to me the differences the products they use make and also that every stain has to be treated differently. Well they got something down to a science because my carpet looks brand new and I’m no longer in any rush to change it :) thanks guys!

I hired Jaiko Cleaning to come and do my ducts and housecleaning. I have never seen a worse job done like this one. I ended up having to redo the home. I hired the company on the advice of my doctor due to health issues, but, once they left, I ended up having to do it myself. The cleaners used the same bucket of water to do a 2 storey home. The water was absolutely filthy and covered with dog hairs by the time they came to do the family room and kitchen. They didn't have any cleaning products to use on the floor so they sprayed some cleaning product from a bottle labeled "all purpose cleaner" in the bucket. The floors were never swept prior to mopping. I have 2 dogs and I sweep the floors twice a day to remove dog hairs and before I put any water on the floor. The dusting was never done properly and a lot of furniture was missed. The kitchen counters, appliances and kitchen table were never cleaned nor was the kitchen sink. Once I reserved their services, Shelley from the office advised me that their workers do a thorough job. I was promised that the cupboards would be emptied and the inside done. That was never done. In fact, the kitchen and family room would never have been mopped had I not brought it to the cleaners' attention. The hallways were never swept nor mopped appropriately. The stairs were not swept nor mopped. The bathroom tub were left with white residue which looks disgusting. I suggested that they clean the patio doors. They only did the inside claiming that they had not time and had to get to their other client. Once Konrad and another employee finished doing the ducts, he asked for payment. Had payment been asked once the cleaning had finished, I would have never paid for their services which is funny because on their receipt they wrote "refer someone else and get $50 Off." I would never refer this company even to my worst enemy. I called the office once they left and Shelley suggested another team come out to re-do it and I said "no" as I had lost all trust in the company. . I called again and asked that Konrad, the owner give me a call. He never returned my call. I agree with the previous client above in saying not to let this company into your home. I wish now I had read the reviews prior to calling them up, but, have learned from my mistakes.

I use Jaiko for my house cleaning. I call Shelly who is always happy to help. They clean my house once a month now for years and I've never been disappointed. I recommend them to everyone and they always thank me.

I had my 2500 sq ft home cleaned and steam cleaned by Jaiko—I must say, they did a fantastic job. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the administrative team provided exceptional advice and customer service. I would highly recommend these guys for your home and carpet cleaning needs. It’s hard to find service like this in today’s cleaning industry. Exceptional work!!! Great work guys!!!

Definitely avoid this company. The bad reviews listed above are an understatement. Having contacted the company and agreed on a price for a move-in cleaning the company then tried to overcharge us. The cleaners started over an hour late. It was clear from the start that they were not professional. We really should have stopped the cleaners and sent them on their way but we hoped after explaining what needed to be done that things would improve. The house was empty of all furnishing and had just been professionally painted. It simply needed to be freshened up before the move in. As this was a small home ( which the home inspector said was in immaculate condition) it should have been a fast and easy job to finish. We asked that the cleaners clean the bathroom, kitchen, floors and windows. We had errands to run and assuming these professional we left them to start the work. After 1 hour we found one of the cleaners washing the walls and baseboards in an upstairs room. Nothing else had been done. I explained to the cleaners once again what was expected. Their grasp of English was limited so I also showed them what what needed to be done. Needless to say this was all for nothing. They used wet rags to clean windows. Paper towel to clean out cupboards. The hardwood floors were mopped with and left spotted. The cleaners managed to stretched out the work and yet completed very little of what had been agreed upon. They certainly finished less then 1/4 of the work noted on the list the provided. I attempted to contact the company several times during this cleaning but no one got back to me. We finally did hear from them when they sent us a bill asking for more money for the work that was not done. Consumer beware!!

Konrad Quinn is very unprofessional and the lady that answers the phone has a lot of attitude. Service is very poor. 0/5 would not recommend! Thanks to Jaiko my carpets now smells like pet odor and vinegar, also the carpet guys left a green substance behind that smells like lemon and my carpets are now stained.

Jaiko cleaning is perfect if you want to be lied to. We were told we would receive pictures of our ducts before and after the work was done. We kept insisting on receiving the after pictures. Only when my wife stayed persistent we were told the employee who took the pictures, got a new phone, and lost all the pictures he had taken, except the before pictures...right.... It was important to me, and my pregnant wife, to have all cat pee-odors and cat hair removed from the vents of our newly purchased house. Jaiko does not care about health consequences of its costumers nor about upholding the quality and friendliness their employees boast about while they write a review for their boss. The only positive reviews are by employees and a couple folk that say Jaiko did a great job at cleaning a carpet.... Jaiko cleaning is an utter waste of space in the Ottawa community. Konrad lies about the services he actually provides. He said they would vacuum, sanitize, seal, and paint the ducts......they didn't do any of that otherwise I wouldn't have pulled hairballs out of the vents myself. When we asked for our money back ($375-500 of the $1159.09 we paid) so we could hire another duct cleaning company, Konrad simply said no despite him knowing our ducts weren't cleaned. Konrad is refusing to accommodate this very reasonable request. Konrad said they could come and vacuum the vents again, but at this point, and because of their hostile tone of their communication with us, we feel very uncomfortable to let them in our home again. Plus they would still not keep their promises by sanitizing, sealing, and painting the ducts. 10 out of 10 would not recommend to anyone, maybe to Pinocchio, he might get along with fellow liars. Do yourself a favor a stay as far away from Jaiko cleaning and Konrad as possible. It's not that hard to keep your costumers happy. Do what you promise, do a good job, and be friendly. If you make a mistake, man up, and do the right thing. Clearly this is alien to Konrad and Jaiko Cleaning (Dis)services.

Do not let these guys into your home! I called them for a house cleaning. I was going to list my house on the market & thought of getting it professionally cleaned from inside. They gave me a time & cost estimate. According to the estimate it was to take 4 hours for 2 people to finish the job, which was fair as I had had the house cleaned professionally once before & that's how long it had taken. I found one of the workers taking numerous smoke breaks for the time they were there (5-10 min breaks every 30 mins). After two hours, only the two upstairs bathrooms were done. I knew they would not be able to finish the whole job on time. I told them to stop the work as I was not happy & I'll pay them for the two hours of work they had already done. The workers called the owner, Konrad Quinn, who proceeded to abuse me in extremely foul language. He stopped short of making a physical threat to me saying "I know where you live." This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business or service. Do not call these guys!

Had a team from jaiko clean my air ducts. The staff were friendly and respectful. They did a great job and showed me before and after pictures. I will be calling them again for the next cleaning and I would recommend them to anyone else who needs their air ducts cleaned!

From the first phone call to the end result I have never questioned their service. I hired them to clean my fathers home which was in bad shape. I have used Jaiko for area carpet and broadloom shampooing for years. They are my "go to". I have pets and there can be accidents. Shelley the office manager/dispatcher is a dream to work with. I have never spoken to the owner. They pick up area rugs and return them beautifully cleaned. Then lay them back down for me. They apply a spot cleaning spray prior to doing the stairs and upstairs broadloom. They will return, no problem, if any reappear after drying.
