Professional service, happy with our air conditioning unit. The reason I am not giving a 5 star review is because of the short notice given that they could not make it for the original a scheduled appointment for the quote but they did come for the re-scheduled appointment. Also, they were late the day the work was to be completed but they did manage to get the work completed on time. My one other bit of feedback is how the gas line was done for the stove, I would have liked it to be run through the beams in the basement as our basement is unfinished, we may have to install drop ceilings instead of drywall ceilings but I am not 100 percent sure since I am not a builder. ***UPDATE*** I have changed this review from 4 stars to 5 stars because the owner reached out to me directly to offer to re-run the gas line but my husband is actually happy with how it was run (go figure, a married couple that doesn't agree on something lol). The thing I am really happy with is that the owner contacted me directly offering tangible solutions to make sure I was happy with the work. It is very rare to get that level of customer service these days and I am very impressed. Keep up the excellent standards you have set for customer care.

I called Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort this morning after my 11 year old Carrier Boiler did not sound right and was producing substantially less heat than normal. I called at 8am and they worked around my schedule and came at 11am. Within an hour Derek had solved the problem, a leaf had wedged its way into the intake and it was limiting the air and gas to the system. I appreciated their quick response, I appreciated their professionalism and I felt I got very good value from their service. I will definitely use them again!

I bought a house with electric heat and a fireplace. It was not the most efficient setup. Dan came by on a Saturday to do a quote, another Saturday to do a rough in for the work needed, and his team showed up on a Monday to start the work. First day was spent with Forest and Chris, great guys and very enthusiastic, to make sure we get the right heat runs, where the cuts in walls and floor will be, this was a retrofit - house had no duct work, and to ask me questions where they can place cold air returns and duct work. After the first day, I went back to work while they continued. I always had a chat every morning with Forest and Chris in regards to what they will be doing that day. They also fixed a certain company's shoddy gas work and something was leaking in my basement. They finished early, 4 days instead of 5, and cleaned up as well. Communication was constant and a job well done.

Technician was not able to repair the problem on the first visit due to lack of parts and I was really surprised when they did not charge me for that visit. The problem was fixed on the second visit that occurred on the next day. I was even offered a portable heater while the problem gets attended. The price was very fair for that repair.

Absolutely the most professional company we have ever utilized. Dan Leblanc is the most diligent owner who personally reviewed the entire job before, during and after the work was completed! He provided a free estimate in person, traveling over an hour in the winter, and was incredibly thorough. His pricing was fair and competitive. In addition, his quote did not change even when there were additional issues he ran into with our house. We had a multilevel, in floor heating, propane boiler, and hot water on demand installed. The job was big from our understanding, and Dan made sure it was done to perfection! He also followed up within a week to make sure there weren't any questions or concerns! He will also continue to provide furnace maintenance and checks. Dan also programs all of his own thermostats and electronic devices related to the furnace- he individualized each home; not the typical cookie cutter approach! He was here first thing in the morning, late at night, and made sure his employees cleaned up their mess and were equally as diligent! We were also very impressed that he had a co-op student with him! He was giving an opportunity to a kind young man who otherwise would not have had this experience! Dan is incredibly intelligent, diligent, personable, professional, and we were almost sad when the job was complete! We invested a lot into our heating, but we feel so secure knowing the job was done well, and we continue to have support even after it is complete!

Choose to go with Simcoe after a few back forth discussions -- you always get a response / answer to you questions. Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort came in today to install a split air conditioner. They started the job at 8 am & had completed their install by 2 pm. They did an absolute fantastic job. They mounted the unit on the outside wall out of the way, running the electrical wire from the outside to the inside electrical box. The complete crew were friendly and left with a high quality split air conditioning unit completely installed. I would highly recommend their workmanship & quality of the unit. It runs so quietly, you can hardly notice the unit doing its work. In minutes it cooled the main floor down, now already for the summer months approaching. For the money, this unit is a 10 plus.

Is there really only 5 stars? I give this company 100. ???? We brought them in for a quote and to get advice on very low hanging ducts (done by builder) that we were told couldn't be raised. But after dilligent time was spent by Simcoe Muskoka doing schematic drawings, confirming and trouble shooting with the companies experts, and coming up with an awesome looking system, we now have a clear flat ceiling to build bulk heads around that we won't smash our face on, and our contractor is very relieved he's not going to leave us with unsightly bulk head boxes in the middle of the room. Simcoe Muskokas prices were also better then any quote we got and Peete our installer was amazing. I also want to add our freezing cold bedrooms now blast out heat as the original system was failing badly. Wow is a little word to discribe how pleased we are so I'll say 'over the moon' happy. ???? Guys came 3 days later installed air conditioning, no upfront deposits or being asked to send email money transfers like some businesses you’ll run into (Andrews from Barrie....) Cost me over $400 less than other competitors and for a job that was done in only a couple hours everything done perfectly I couldn’t have chose a better route than SMHC. About a year and and half ago I had a problem with my furnace I call Dan and here was at my door within 2 hours. The furnace in my house was quite old and required a part that Dan said maybe hard to find. I ask Dan to quote me on a new furnace and AC unite. Dans price and his quit service was all I needed to give the go ahead. SMHA guys started that day and we had heat the next day the guys did a great job. This past summer a friend of mine was looking to have AC put in his house and he got some quotes from over places and I told him to call SMHA and he had them install AC in his house and was very pleased with there work. SMHC installed a washer and dryer stacking unit for us and converted the dryer to propane making sure everything was running and safe. When the technician arrived to complete the repair they informed us that they had the wrong part and the correct one would not be available for another month. I rarely post anything online, however I was so pleased with my experience with Muskoka Home Comfort, I thought I should share the info. I noticed a leak in our furnace room, coming from our furnace. Mopped it up twice and after my initial inspection, contacted SMHC and was pleased to hear the extremely helpful internal sales person assure me they would have someone pop in to assess things the NEXT DAY! The service gentleman's name was Derreck. ( I apologize if I've misspelled your name) Very courteous, quick, and able to locate and solve the problem immediately. He was in and out in about 1/2 hr. and I was billed accordingly. He was able to fix my problem and do a quick check of the furnace itself. Fantastic service, and after follow up today (Nov. 14th 2019) from their office, we will be touching base again in April to have them assess our air conditioning unit. Service like this is very rare, and we're glad we have found such a fabulous company.

We have been dealing with a boiler issue since August 2018. We had various other companies come and assess the situation and all said we needed a new boiler. We were in an extreme situation as the winter month began and the cold was coming in. I simply googled Emergency Boiler Service and found Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort. They were easy to contact. It took a couple of tries to reach someone, but that’s ok, it was December outside Orillia. Many people need to make sure their heat works. The gentlemen came and inspected my furnace, cleaned it and tweeted the program to help. I was worried I could smell a little propane. We did not find a leak, but a few of the pipes were only hand tight. He fixed that up and now I know I am good for the winter. I will call on them again next year to for regular servicing.

Poor if any, concern for customers. Made an appointment 4 days ago to have an estimate/quote on 2 air conditioning units installed. They set day and a time slot between 12 noon and 4 I would have to be there. I drove in a 30 min trip each way and waited from 11.30 till after 4 10. No show no call. While I get an emergency could possibly come up they had my text number, its how they confirmed the appointment, but failed to offer even the basic courtesy of a 30 second text to cancel or ask for another schedule time to meet. Frankly a business treats customers like cow pie under their boots they deserve to carry the stink. They do, can't give no stars or I would have .
