NOTE: Spoke to business owner regarding my concerns prior to submitting the review. I usually do not submit negative reviews; however I felt this needed to be posted so others are aware.
Not sure where to start, communication prior to having the cleaning done was good. Price was given for a Standard cleaning, with the additional charges for inside of cupboards, inside of windows including window tracks, blinds and baseboards. I opted to not have the inside of the oven or fridge done. This house was vacant no furniture totally empty, less than 1000 sq ft with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. No basement cleaning requested. When I went the next day to prepare for the painters I could not believe the house had been cleaned. The only thing truly cleaned were the floors. I sent a text to Stacy to give me a call, which she did later the next day.
I needed to clean the entire place again to get rid of the dirt and grime from the previous owners as the painters were there and the furniture was being delivered in 3 days. When I finally spoke with Stacy and expressed my total dissatisfaction she did offer to come back and clean, however the job she did initially was so unacceptable I did not see the point of having them back to re clean. I had also done the cleaning myself as we were on a timeline.
I sent pictures of the inside of the cupboards which still had dirt in them and I’m not talking about a little. Kitchen sink and taps were filthy, outside of cupboards sticky and dirty. The inside of the window tracks not touched. Baseboards not cleaned, the blinds were filthy. Her response to the blinds were,” they were dusted”, and they usually do not clean those kinds of mini blinds, however initially she said they would be hand washed. A text on the day of cleaning letting me know this information would have been good rather than being charged for a dusting not a cleaning. The list goes on, when asked what a standard cleaning consists of the response was “a house that is move in ready” well this cleaning was nothing near move in ready. When I asked what type of cleaning supplies she uses she said “hydrogen peroxide and essential oils”. I truly understand wanting to be environmental friendly however if the surfaces remain sticky and dirty other products should be used.
After much discussion Prestige Cleaning reduced my bill. I still paid for services that were not provided. I would not recommend or use this company again. The pictures attached are after the clean.
