I highly recommend using PURAIR. I booked an appointment and the tech (Tim) arrived right on time, he even called the day before to confirm. Tim was courteous, friendly and had great information when I asked questions. He was able to show me the filter and what was pulled out of the vents. The link on the business card to write a review didn't work, so I just went onto google directly to write this review.

They communicated confirmation of the appointment. Actual cost was bang on to the estimate when appointment was booked. Impressed on how they cleaned the equipment (hoses) upon completion of the job .... shows how they regard the cleanliness of their equipment, and the next house they service. They were respectful and polite. They took time to answer my questions and explained the process. They even replaced the furnance filter without the inflated retail cost that they could have charged. The PURAIR system will definitely be used in my house in the 3 year suggested service period. Thank you Don and Aaron!

Tanner went so far above and beyond that a 5/5 really isn't a good enough review. The amount of lint that was pulled out of my dryer ducts showed that previous owners had never done it, or other companies couldn't reach it. And it did take a few passes to make sure it was all gone. But the extra effort was very effective. I would recommend this company before any other.

Keagan did a great job all around did a thorough job throughout cleaned all the vents well and the furnace replaced the filter ensured everything was running smoothly.Had him clean out the dryer vent as well, he cleaned it out very well but forgot too clean up the pile of lint left behind by the cleaning hence only 4 stars. I cleaned it up myself which wasn’t that big a problem but 10% of doing a job is the cleanup afterwards. Im sure just slipped his mind but everything was done very well I will be using this company in the future,and would recommend too anyone else looking too have there vents done.

Nope. Didn't cover vents, dust everywhere, chunks of stuff falling into furnace, furnace filter and out of vents. Could still see lots of dust and stuff in vents. Got another company to come the next day.

They use a portable vacuum connected to the furnace and then they use a half inch hose connected to a compressor and spray air from the top of each register. They do not send the hose down into the ducting nor use a whip to stir and push the dirt down into the vacuum. A short burst of air right at the opening of your register isn't going to do much for cleaning, especially in a 2 story home like mine where the ducting can be 30-50 feet to the furnace. For the price they charge, similar to Advanced and Bruins cleaning, I'd expect a whip line being fed down each register as those other companies do. Some cleaners also use a brush to clean ducting. If they don't do that you aren't getting your ducting cleaned as it's simply impossible and they are just pushing debris away from the floor register and your view. I reached down a few registers and felt a lot of dust and pulled up debris with my hand, so they weren't clean. Plenty of drywall dust on my hands which is the lightest stuff that should get moved. When I turned my furnace on I heard a bunch of rattling (dirt) being thrown around and the burners were dirty as I could smell burning dust coming through the registers. $500 down the drain in my opinion. edit: I Shared this with the owner immediately after the cleaning and it resolved nothing but rather insulted my intelligence by stating nobody uses a snake cam or whip lines. The reply by the owner below is just a show for others and it is as fake as their cleaning job. What I said above is 100% factual. The other ratings, as many ratings on Google, could easily be friends or family. Don't be deceived like I was. Get quotes from others and have it on paper what they will actually do. I own multiple homes as rentals and have had ducting cleaned a number of times, Advanced and Bruins will both take pictures before and after with a snake cam to prove cleanliness. Purair does not do this probably because they don't want you to know that they did little to nothing.

I met Tanner with Modern Purair at the Red Deer Home Show in 2016 and was interested in what Modern Purair had to offer. I was impressed by the presentation given by Tanner and decided to try them out when my ducts were due for cleaning. I booked my appointment in the fall of 2017 and found the online booking process to be very simple and easy. Tanner and his crew showed up on the day of the booking on time and were very professional during the servicing. At the end of the servicing, Tanner showed me what his equipment had pull out of my house ducts, which were small kid toys, small pieces of wood and a lot of dog hair. I was very surprised and told him that my house ducts were cleaned by one of his competitors previously. Now on, I will only use Modern Purair as I know my house ducts and furnace will be clean and cleaning will be done right. Many thanks to Tanner and Modern Purair.
