Britcan is a furnace cleaning company that we use at work and is also recommended by multiple HVAC companies such as JDK. The Britcan crew came out and were very friendly and professional. I'm a first time home-owner and was recommended Britcan from a FB group to clean my vents and furnace. Their admin who I called to schedule the appointment with was very friendly and customer care focused. She even offered me a special discount for the entire house! Joe and Kay showed up right on time. Joe was extremely friendly and took the time to educate me on what him and his wife were doing and how they got into the business. I admire their work ethic and how well of a job they did. I will definitely have them back!

I cannot express enough my gratitude for Britcan as a fair, knowledgeable, friendly company. In addition to doing a fantastic job in cleaning my furnace a number of times over the years, they have helped me troubleshoot problems with my furnace. Today was no exception. Their technician came out after my furnace failed to work this weekend. He quickly identified the problem which was a quick simple fix. The gas value had been turned off by EPCOR after my hot water tank burst earlier this summer. He waived the service fee and wished my a great day. I cannot imagine another company being so kind and compassionate. I am so pleased and impressed with Britcan I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I try not to leave negative reviews but since I work in the private business world, I try to go above and beyond for the people who pay me so took me some time to reflect on this. We had this company recommended to us by Romaniuk Heating & Air Co. First they came earlier than expected so my husband couldn’t meet them on time. The first thing I noticed is that they were very abrupt , short and blunt. I find it hard to get along with people who are not friendly but especially when it is in my home that annoys me. Secondly, when I mentioned my husband couldn’t come on time the only thing one guy asked me is if I will pay them. I was out of words because it was the way he said it not what they said. Thirdly, we have a guest bathroom that we like people to use and one of the toilets in the basement is out of order. One of the men just used it without asking and then found out it couldn’t flush. He then had to get a plunger to clean it up. It was really unpleasant for me and I am baffled no one asked me before they used it. Bathrooms are private rooms and people keep things in there so you should at least ask if you can use one or which one to use. The last and most disappointing thing is the reason I am giving one star. The outside furnace vent was absolutely filthy and when they finished work I asked them who cleans it and all the guy who was making the bill calculations could say is they did it from the inside so in other words we should do it ourseves. I asked him if they could clean it and he again said they did it from inside and that is just stuff that clings from the outside. It was then that my husband arrived and after some discussion he agreed to do it. It took them minutes and was no effort but just felt like they didn’t want to finish the job unless asked to. We have had good experiences with furnace cleaning before so definitely not planning on using this company again.

Britcan guys are doing furnace cleaning at my place since the new furnace was installed in 2013. They were always professional and efficient doing their job fast and clean. This year something went wrong and one part broke and the furnace wouldn't start after the cleaning. Next day the owner of the company came to check it and sent a professional mechanic to fix the problem, the broken part was replaced and the furnace started to work again. Britcan paid the bill for me. I appreciate their being responsible and honest with me ( as I was told by the mechanic that not every company would cover the repair cost). My townhouse was cleaned 2 days ago. They called to see if they could come early and did a fabulous job. they were friendly, professional and asked about keeping shoes on in the unit. The reason why 4 out of 5 was they left some of the fluff from the dryer vent clean in the window well. I would use them again my townhouse has horrible access with 100-80 feet access only and they handled it with no problem. You will not be disappointed with BritCan. As for the Covid issue I know they need protective wear anyways but they were good about keeping protective wear on and keeping there distance. Would recommend and use them again.

We have used Britcan for years, and they came once again today. They were early, so they phoned ahead to make sure that they could come ahead of time which, for us, was no problem. They were prompt and courteous. I was working in my office and they checked with me as to when it would be convenient to work in this office. They changed the furnace filters for me as they saw them near to the furnace, which was a nice touch. Before they left, they made sure that the furnaces and A/C worked properly and checked to be sure that we were satisfied. We will continue to use Britcan as we have in the past.

Lou and his crew cleaned out 20 years worth of dust from our furnace and dryer vents. They literally found a bird's nest in the dryer vent! They were very detailed about their process in ensuring they got every vent in the house. Cleaned the furnace and put it all back together. It's apparently that Lou is passionate about his this business and cares about the clients he serves. His enthusiasm to educate is unmatched and I am quick to recommend this company to everyone I know!

Every dealing with Britcan was great! Started out with prompt and professional scheduling, ended up with the crew exceeding our expectations. They found some pre-existing conditions venting & ducting conditions that weren't right and they were able to get corrected for us. They are certainly not the average furnace cleaning crew, Joe is very knowledgeable in this field, and it shows! In the past I was overcharged by another company by four vents and have since discovered they did not clean the vents. My furnace has never run so powerfully as it does now. The guys even helped calm my cats down before leaving. It's not easy to get ducts cleaned in this city. One company showed up late and then realized they didn't have enough hose on the truck to reach into the house. Another wouldn't even respond to an inquiry after making 2 attempts. BritCan was an exception to these experiences. They quickly responded to my initial inquiry with an easy to understand pricing sheet. Booking them was easy and they updated me on their arrival time in the days and hours leading up to the appointment. The guys were courteous, used proper PPD, and were careful with our belongings. Their hoses reached from the back lane to the house. The price was competitive. And for my wife and I, what we thought was just a seasonal endemic cough caused by allergies has mostly gone away with clean duct work.

We had the pleasure of having BritCan come and clean the air ducts at our office. This was something that hadn’t been done for a long time (ever?), and we really needed it! The BritCan team was great at communicating by phone, came to the office and provided an estimate, and then showed up on time on the planned date of service. It was quite the impressive operation, and although the technicians were very busy, they were thorough, polite, and explained things as they completed the service. They even helped to clean up after they had finished everything. I was extremely happy with the job they did, and with their professionalism, and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their ducts cleaned.

The price quoted was exactly what I paid which I found very reasonable for the time they spent. They were clean and respectful of the home as they were working.
