Not long after they opened, they were here at the Waverley Inn to pick up my laundry and then returned them back here the same day just after 6pm: cleaned (eco-friendly), folded, and at a price much lower than I expected. If you have any kind of illness or disability that makes doing laundry a hardship, or you’re just completely pressed for time and need a laundry service quick, Olympic is a Halifax community necessity. Will definitely call them again.

Was on holidays, looking for a laundromat that stayed open late enough to do my laundry after a day of touring. Found Olympic, which actually *washed our clothes for us* while we were out touring, and for barely more than it would cost to do them myself. The staff was beyond friendly, even for Atlantic Canada, and they even *washed my duffel bag*! They did a great job too.

A wonderful full service laundromat with friendly and knowledgable owners, who are a part of the community. With a long back of washers and dryers, if you need to do your own wash, you never have to wait for a machine.

We only use Olympic Laundromat since I moved to a small apartment with no washer/dryer. You can do it yourself or they also have an excellent service where you can drop it off and they'll wash it and fold it, ready for pickup a couple hours later. I think they also have a pickup/delivery service but I've never tried it. They really care about customers and ensure high quality in their service. We have given them a few delicate pieces and they've always done a great job!

I don't understand all of the positive reviews for Olympic Laundromat. What an awful experience we had today! The male owner was horribly rude to us, yelling that we were taking too long to load our machines. The woman was very nice, and visibly embarrassed by the man's yelling. The coin receptacle for the washing machine would not accept most of the quarters. This seems to be a common issue, as the woman brought over a narrow tool to use to push the quarters in. After starting one load, the man yelled at us that we were too slow and that this was his life and we needed to hurry. There were many available machines, and no one else who was there was putting laundry into a washing machine. We were very confused by his visible anger, and when I apologized for upsetting him and I explained that we had been asking for help with the quarters, he yelled more and louder. We packed up the rest of our laundry, took the sopping wet load out that had just started, and we left. I have to say, that after having read a fair bit online about laundromat etiquette, we were not breaking any rules of any kind. The man's anger seemed to come out of nowhere, and was entirely uncalled for. I would not recommend Olympic Laundromat to anyone, especially anyone who would like to be treated with respect. What an awful experience in Halifax! Don't say that I didn't warn you!

Such a nice atmosphere, the owners are so kind and they offer a lot of different services for fair prices. It's nice to actually feel comfortable enough that they'll watch your washers for you while you go to the store. I wouldn't go to any other laundromat! :-)

Amazing place. Probably one of the best ones in Halifax. The lady was extremely nice and guided me throughout my laundry process. There's also free wifi and a nice place to sit and read some magazines or newspapers while your clothes are getting washed. I highly recommend Olympic Laundromat.
