Dropped off a few items, one item was a beige wool sweater, brand new. Picked it up and it drasticaaaalllllyy shrunk. On top of that it had visible brown stains-like it was wet and placed next to another wet item. When I asked about it they actually blamed the store that sold it to me, they were not responsible. To me its a similar complaint as someone else's review-appears that this was washed, not dry cleaned. I brought it to the retailer, Aritzia (who were great) and they thought the exact same thing, washed and pressed, not dry cleaned-gave me a store credit. Sorry Martinizing, you lost another customer.

They lady was no where close to friendly. Seemed like I was putting her out asking for the dry cleaning. None of them wear masks while customers aren't there. They don't seem to realize that the exemption when you work around steam is only when you do. They're walking around the entire store without masks on and don't care at all. The woman hated that I waited by the door until she finally put her mask on. So not good for someone with an auto-immune condition like myself. Lack of health safety, terrible attitude, I can find a lot better elsewhere.

I'm truly impressed with their invisible zipper replacements!! I took my pants and skirt to another tailor shop before I went to Martinizing, and the lady, at the other shop, complained about me being difficult because I wanted the zipper to be invisible and tried to convince me to go with an alternate zipper even though my clothes originally came with an invisible zipper. She told me to go to another shop so I went to Martinizing on Mumford. At Martinizing, they had no complaints about the zipper replacement. I came back 2 days later to pick it up. They did an amazing job!! It looks perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Hemmed my very expensive jeans almost an inch too short. I specifically had her pin them to the floor when I was barefoot, so they'd cover the tops of sneakers. The back is almost over the top of my shoe.

I found the service here friendly and efficient. The interior was spacious and clean and my comforters came back in plastic bins which was much appreciated!

This place wouldn’t take my coat to fix a torn pocket, said it was dirty and needed to be cleaned before they could fix it. Sneaky up-sell tactic! When I told them that I didn’t want to pay to clean the jacket (cause it wasn’t dirty), they refused to fix the pocket on my coat. Went to another tailor down the street who laughed when I told him the story and he fixed up the coat pocket right away at a great price. Thanks for refusing your service as I’ve since found a better option!

I don't recommend foreigners to this store, and keep in mind to take more careful to check your heavy coat before you leave the store. When I picked up my winter coat in this store, I paid it immediately and didn't checked it before I left the store. But I back to my home 20 minutes later and find one of sleeve is wet, down feathers gets together and heavy smell, it seems not dry cleaning, just normal water cleaning, so I back to the store again as soon as possible. However, the manager refused to give an explanation and deal with it, and asked me to inquire about this problem to another Martinizing store by myself, but other store is far away from me, I haven't cash in hand to take the bus at that time, and my phone number is cancelled two days ago so that I can't check the routes. Also, she denied take this responsibility of her just 40 minutes later when I back to store. That's her attitude to deal this kind of problem. I don't know why, because I am Chinese, not local people, or I'll leave this city a month later. It doesn't worth 40 dollars. I lived in Halifax 11 months, it's beauty and kind warm people that even I am not willing to leave, but this thing is the worst thing I met in Canada, and that woman is worst people I feel in Canadian.

Terrible experience , closed 20 minutes early after they instructed me to pick up my cleaning close to closing hours and blamed it on their manager and the punch out clock. Made me late for 2 meetings the next morning and behind schedule my 3 hours. Tried to contact head office with no response, definitely never going back .

My experience with this business has been negative 5 star regardless of the location. Whether it’s Mumford or Bedford, it’s the same rude experience. One time at Mumford location, I bought pizza from the next store and went there to pick up my clothes. I put the pizza box on couch so I could make the payments. The lady at counter yelled her lungs out like I committed crime. Holly smoke never been so embarrassed in my life

I will not recommend Martinizing Dry Cleaning to anyone, especially foreigners and immigrant the lady in Mumford location in Halifax she is uncivilized, impatient and very rude essentially if you are immigrants or foreigners. Please don’t go there my experience was very bad zero star.
