Maid Sense service was given as a pre-wedding gift and I could not be more happy with the result. They were professional, courteous and most importantly did an amazing job of making our home clean and peaceful in the frantic time before our big day. I definitely recommend them and it makes a great gift!

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! The women who did the cleaning were an hour late and offered no apologies however they did do a great job once they arrived. Their boss/dispatcher, on the other hand, was rude from the outset and only got more argumentative & offensive over time. Worst of all, she failed to mention that the price she was quoting me was PER CLEANER not per team so the final bill was for 2x as much as I'd been expecting. But rather than accepting her mistake & taking the loss (or striking a compromise), she blamed me for not automatically KNOWING what she'd meant (but hadn't explicitly said) and then rudely DEMANDED that I pay the full amount. Her behaviour was outrageous, unprofessional, and overtly aggressive. Do not hire this company - they don't deserve your money (or mine).

Excellent. Move out cleaning was done on time and as requested. Communication was fast and responsive. The quality of the work was excellent. Payment was made in cash as requested. E-transfer or credit card is sometimes more convenient.

I tolerated them for a while but had numerous problems with them. In the beginning the owner quoted a different price than the website. They have rotating staff and some were good and some not so much. One time they left without dusting obviously dusty surfaces. Today I left the key under the mat and the owner texted me and said they couldn't open the door. The door is about as easy to open as it gets. I'm done.

Jan Grue and her crew have been keeping our home sparkling for 2-1/2 years. And I do mean sparkling! We have ceramic tile floors and multiple hard surfaces that all need that special care to make them shine. Jan's crew are well taught, thorough and efficient. In addition, they are cheerful. They like their job! It's a pleasure to have them in the house. Jan herself has been most accommodating in scheduling. She is always able to make the most difficult request to change or rearrange times come to an agreeable conclusion. We can't recommend Jan'sMade Sense business highly enough. They are a 5 star out of 5 company in every way. We'd find it very difficult to do it without them! Thank you for all your great work.

Do not recommend. I hired this company to clean my very small apartment. The apartment was not clean following (floors and microwave still dirty; front of kitchen cabinets not cleaned; shelves not dusted; front of stainless steel fridge scratched all over). I contacted the owner several times via email before receiving a response. Jan replied with excuses as to why the apartment was in the above condition, with no attempts to resolve the situation. I again replied to further clarify but got no response.

I would not recommend this company - my gentleman friend used this company for over a year and a half and fired them ,the 5th time something was stolen .from his place Quite the nerve considering he tipped the cleaner $10 each time . you cannot post a review with out using star rating - obviously 1 is not even appropriate .

Take your business elsewhere! I had a similar experience to others who have reviewed such as inconsistencies in pricing and terrible communication with the owner. She was always unprofessional and rude at times but I found the cleaning to be decent with some minor issues and the cleaners (although also inconsistent) to be friendly and do a decent job however I did not thoroughly inspect their work. They came about 4 times total and the last visit we had cameras installed at our front door (not to 'catch' the cleaners but for security). We agreed to what we had thought we had been getting and had always paid for which was 3 hours of cleaning and this time it would be one cleaner. We were always out when the cleaners went as to not get in their way and left a key for them to leave when they left. Unfortunately, as we saw on our camera the cleaner left before the two hour mark. They did not contact us at all that day to let me know she had left early, and when I messaged the owner about this she was argumentative and rude and did not offer any way of rectifying the situation. I had to go back and forth and send evidence on the camera to prove what had happened and the only offer she gave me was to only charge me two hours of cleaning. I feel there is a high probability we were charged for more than what we got on the other visits and feel the owner was extremely unprofessional and rude. I DO NOT recommend this company.
