Well I thought my ducts were done right the first time... But received a call today from the owner saying they got 6 and a half pounds of white powder out of my vents and needed to be done again all for the low sum of 139.99 plus tax then I would get a 5 year warranty , Today is Nov 24 2017 and they did them on Oct 16 2017 thats 38 days before they told me this (On a make work program - Scam Alert - Red Flags ) I asked them when they were done as I looked at his Glorified Shop Vac , Is this all from my house , his reply was "No" was duct dirt in Vac from prior Job they had just finished and my house , So please do tell How You Came Up with The Number of 6 1/2 pounds from my house , I know , Its Called BS or Con-$um-ers BS , Was also told by the owner Neil nobody can get them all done on one cleaning which is total BS if you have proper duct cleaning Equipment and never told me this to begin with either, I was born at night "But Not Last Night NEIL" !! , All this company is And I quote , are a couple of guys driving there own personal vehicle which didnt look road worthy with over sized Shop Vacs with long hoses , Cost me 160 the first time and they were in and out in less than 50 mins , Also noticed when they did my house the guy in basement removed a sticker of a prior company that cleaned the ducts in the house , They obviously dont like competition either and did not place there own company sticker Saying Ducts Cleaned On this Date, I asked Neil when did they come and do my ducts He didnt know But I DID as it was marked on my calender and also they did not have my permission To Remove prior company sticker , Also this company was formerly located at 4414 Homewood Ave in Niagara Falls and Now located On Mundare in Niagara Falls run out of his own home Real Professional "NOT" , I plan on filing a Formal Complaint with the BBB ( Better Business Bureau ! Surprise ! ) I did tell Neil I will be writing a google review and never to call me again , He called back 5 minutes later I didnt Answer , Also another odd tid bit or 2 , He blocks his number when he calls, Doesnt leave a message either , I did some research into CONsumer duct cleaning and there reputation is TERRIBLE , AND THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LOUSEY WORKMANSHIP Hence the name CONsumer , Also they create google accounts and get people they know to write good reviews to SCAM people out of there Hard Earned Cash ....... AVOID AT ALL COSTS ........ Going to call in a proper company to do my ducts again With A Truck with a company name on the door ....... Hope I saved someone from being a Victim like me ......Also I have an Accredited Diploma in Customer Service ...... They advertise in the region Value Pak with the 99$ special , Honestly wasnt worth .99 Cents , No value here Readers ..... Negative 5 Stars ....X-POSTED

I called this company because there was a coupon in an advertising booklet that had a good price, $99.00 I think. I called and set up an appt. and I could hear a TV in the background so my red flag went up. I then googled review on this company and after reading them I called and cancelled the appt. (was not easy to do either as he kept pestering me to set up another date). I ultimately got my ducts cleaned by a reputable company and was very happy. About two months later I received a phone call from Consumer Duct Cleaning and they told me that when he cleaned my ducts he took an enormous amount of white dust out of my ducts and I would need to have them done again but he would lower the price. I told him that he did not even clean my ducts and that I had another company do it and then he said "well if I lower it to $99.00 will you do it"? and I said no I am not paying to have my ducts cleaned again. So beware of this scamming company. Stay clear of Consumer Duct Cleaning.

I had called this company to have my air ducts cleaned last week! The man on the phone informed it is under new management and there would be a licensed technician to clean my ducts 28 years experience!!! he was amazing and did a great job! He was very professional and I would definitely reccommend this company.

They basically vacuum the bottom of your ducts with a central vacuum. You get what you pay for and in this case it's not much. I live in an old house, I can stick my head in the cold air returns. The sides and top of the ducts were untouched.

Very poor customer service. Kept changing the appointment time date and when I wasn't available at the exact time they wanted to come with 10 minutes notice they rescheduled the appointment for 4 business days later. When I said I needed the appointment at the time it was rescheduled to (at their request) because I had to arrange for someone to be there while I was at work - which they knew from the first scheduled appointment they said they would "try" and be there. When I said that it was incredibly poor customer service to do that Neil hung up on me. Very rude. I guess I know why they were offering such a "great" special price... You get what you pay for.
