Bad experience with my 5 year old son's passport photo. They stamped the wrong year on the back of the passport photo. I didn't realize until the Passport Office called and told me the pictures were invalid. When I went back to Harveys a few weeks later, they were initially refusing to retake the picture. They eventually conceded due to it being a slow day. I had to pull up a bank statement to prove I wasn't lying about the $20 purchase. Since it was their mistake, I was surprised to get that much pushback over such a small purchase. Too bad, I'd like to support a local business.

Took photo for Permanent Residency Advantage: Fast Disadvantages: Completely unprofessional photographers. They charged me $23 for digital copy but the photo is the worst one. It is not align, no edit, nothing (my hair is all over). They don't tell you how to pose, they don't talk to you, and they don't let you to remove your mask to see if your face is good enough. I didn't get the good vibes from them. I am sorry to say that but it happened to me!

Edit 4: someone finally said hello at least this time Edit 3: 4th time I've been in and no one has so much as looked at me until I go to the counter with a look like I want something Edit 2: no one has acknowledged my existence when I walked in Edit: The first time I went in nobody who worked there acknowledged my existence, no hello or a head nod, but I left it out of the review because there were a few people there besides me, but I went in yesterday and no one said anything to me for 5 minutes until I actually brought over something to purchase, and I was the only person there besides the two employees. Original review: First time in the store was a pretty good experience. They had a pretty good selection of photography related things in the store for what seemed to be alright prices.

The schools in our area use Harvey Studios and the photographer told my step daughter not to smile big, but thought it acceptable to take a picture of her looking absolutely furious. A friend of mine also received her takes back and they thought it appropriate to take a picture of her son turned around because he wouldn't cooperate. If you don't know how to work with kids, you have no business doing their school pictures. Parents look forward to these as keepsakes, but when they come out looking horrible, what's the point?

Got my passport photos clicked last week and the photos are of a very bad quality and super blurry. This is super disappointing since I have usually received recommendations for this place. My Iphone 11 clicks way better than their professional camera. Paid $35 for 4 super blurry and low quality photos.
