Paid over $1200 dollars to have our chimneys shortened and capped. Less than 5 years later and all their masonary has fallen off and the cap has blown off one. Absolutely shoddy work and left a mess behind. Should have known when they showed up drunk for work. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, now I have to pay someone else AGAIN to have the same job done. Buyer beware.

Took the money and did not clean the chimney, we had smoke coming out of our wood stove, call Someone else, found out they never cleaned it at all!

Absolutely horrible. The owner called my house several times looking for a customer who hadn't paid. I did not know this person and told him so. He continued to call and harass me, saying things like "up yours", until I called the police on him. A nasty individual and not someone I would ever do business with.

I wish Google reviews were available when we hired these clowns to work on our chimney. We would have stayed far away from them if we would have seen the reviews. We paid $2000 to have our chimney re-mortared a couple of summers ago. Three weeks later, during a rain storm, we noticed a lot of water dripping in and running down the chimney inside of our house. I went up on the roof and a lot of the new mortar around the chimney was cracking and crumbling. We called Chimney Sweeps, who sent out someone to look at our chimney which they had just done. The person said that the cracking & crumbling mortar was normal. He also said that they would not re do the work or refund us our money but would run some caulking around the chimney. He never did this and we never heard from him again. We had another contractor look at the chimney who said that the side that was leaking looked like it had been done by an amateur. The contractor told us that the flashing tolerances were much too short (not enough flashing used). Now we are out $2000 and have a chimney that pisses water inside of our living room every time it rains thanks to these guys. We need to put buckets and bowls around the chimney every time it rains or the snow melts until the weather gets better and we can hire someone else to fix this mess.

Wett cert and cleaning "done" in July for sale of home. Lit small fire in home after damp day and whole house fills with smoke, from the stove (windows, temp vent slider' and flue) and from the wall as he didn't attach the flue back on correctly initially. Called him in Sept to have him come back out and do the actual job and certify the unit is safe and works. Came back and tried to charge me 100$ for a cleaning and repair, which was already paid for in July and not completed then either. Told him no and he became extremely rude and left in a giant huff and left tools all over. He seemed very unsure of what he was doing and just ripped the flue out of the wall, which he replaced after cleaning a whole bunch of stuff out of the flue. Which was supposed to be "cleaned" the first time. After piecing the flue back to the stove and jamming it into the wall hole, which was just as loose and detached as before he came back, he tried to charge me and got angry and stormed off. The stove is still doing the exact thing he was supposed to initially fix and then repair again on the second call. None of it was done and it is still leaking smoke all over and unsafe to use. He also started the second call out by telling me he hid put a WETT sticker on the stove and someone must have peeled it off and showed me the old sticker spot on the back. Ten minutes later when I asked him about the report/sticker...etc for the certification, he says the receipt (which just states the WETT was "done") is enough. I then asked him if he was lying now or lying a moment ago when he told me he had put a sticker on that I apparently peeled off, then moments later told me he doesn't do stickers. Do not recommend this company, whatsoever. Super un-professional, lied about everything, tried to double charge for services never truly done to completion, seemed to have no idea what he was doing at all, has now been here twice and hasn't even fixed the problem yet.

Uncooperative and unprofessional. I called to have a single sentence added to my receipt simply stating that the stove follows WETT standards to satisfy compliance for my insurance company and was berated and belittled for a simple request. Owner had already stated that the stove was compliant but refused to put it on paper. Shoddy and very shady work, I would not recommend for both safety and reliability reasons.
