This was my first time using Pro-Steam to clean our carpets. The service person arrived at our home as scheduled after first calling to announce that he would arrive in 10 minutes. The person did a thorough job. However after the carpet had dried I saw streaks and spots on our beige carpeting. I called the company and with apologies, they arranged for another service call. I am happy with the results. There was obviously an issue with the equipment on the first service vehicle. The fact that they promptly returned to remedy the problem, shows that they value customer satisfaction.

Called and got a quote for services only to be told it was going to be double the amount when he arrived on site. Apparently I was miss quoted over the phone he told me, so I had to cancel half the service which was very disappointing. The difference was between a sofa and a sectional, our sectional is the same size as a sofa. I would understand if it was double the work, but I was very clear on the phone with what I needed. 3 bedrooms and 1 sectional and I was quoted $160. I was told just to do the sectional is $150 plus the 3 bedrooms and I was then told I was misquoted on those as well. How is that even possible. To me you would think you would honour the original price such as to keep furniture business. Very poor customer service.

Takes advantage of seniors, bait and switch the price. add chemicals which raises the price, without asking. Uses commissioned operators who get paid more when they charge more. left area with excess soap. charged for steps and landing which were non existent. presoaked the area to make it looked darker, then took pictures which they claimed the area was excessively dirty, b/c it was darker. said they charged more than the quote b/c the dirty carpets. FYI - you clean carpets b/c they are dirty. Arranged for my elderly parent who had moved out. the place was empty.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the service. Not once did someone mention my stains aren't guaranteed to come out, on the phone or when the guy came to clean. IF I was notified it might not come out I would have reconsidered, instead of wasting time and money on something that didn't work. When I called, the owner was not sympathetic or helpful at all. The guy cleaning was very nice, the lady booking my appointment was as well. It's too bad the owner didn't have the same customer service skills as the employees.

Top notch quality service! Highly recommend for my clients and even my own home. My wife is super picky and a bit of a "germaphobe". After moving in, we had a pretty smelly and dirty carpet in our guest room. We also added a fabric sofa and chair to the list of cleaning. In the end, she was very satisfied with the results and told me to quickly write this review. Awesome local long-time family biz with just the touch of professionalism needed for the job. Tyler is super easy to deal with and so is the rest of the team. Invoicing is a little old school, but I'm sure they are very flexible in payment methods. I'd suggest an e-transfer email printed on invoice or card payment app for the future.

We used this company to clean the carpets in a couple of high-use office spaces and a high-traffic hallway; both of which hadn't been cleaned in years. Darcy set up the appointment for same-day service (we were in a bit of a rush) no extra fees, no excuses, just asked us when and where. Absolutely wonderful service and attention to detail. No hidden cost, no run-arounds, just straight up honesty. Mark explained what he was going to do, gave a quote and stuck to it. We will be using this company again for sure. The carpets went from looking like they should be torn out and smelling musty to looking brand new and smelling like oranges. Blown away by the quality of service and workmanship. Darcy from Pro-Steam was excellent! I recently moved and needed not only carpets done but an exterior deck covered with Duradeck was full of melted candle wax from the previous owner and the home stunk of dog! Darcy accommodated a weekend appointment on very short notice and was very professional and did an amazing job! The carpets looked like new, the smell, with use of his deodorizer at a nominal extra cost took all the smell away and the deck looked like new! He managed to removed 99% of the wax from the deck and it looked amazing! Highly recommend Pro-Steam!

Absolutely WOW!!!! Prosteam saved the day for me. I had pulled my entire house apart to use a groupon from another company and when they showed up to do the work they wouldn't because it would have meant a bit of extra work to get it into my second floor apartment. I called Prosteam and they fit me in that day!. The guy who showed up was knowledgeable polite and very friendly. My carpets look amazing. I can't believe they got them white again after my toddler has been running free with snacks on it for so long... Would absolutely highly recommend!!!!

Highly recommend Tyler at Pro-Steam! He did a great job on the carpets in our 4th floor condo. Came in mid January 2020 and was probably one of the coldest days of the year. He spent about 30 mins outside steam cleaning the deck flooring too (at our request) and he maintained a good positive attitude through out (not ideal working conditions if you ask me). Best price and customer service in town!

October 10, 2016 - Response to Violet Dematos My technician Mark arrived at Violet's home at 7:30am on September 20th. After viewing her carpet, he noticed major amounts of urine from Violet's new puppy. At that point, he suggested to deodorize and disinfect those areas. My technician Mark informed me that Violet agreed it needed to be applied. After Mark completed the job, Violet called in and complained about the additional charge, letting me know she has social anxiety and could not say no and that she now could not afford to pay other bills. Feeling sympathetic for the situation, I offered to refund 1/2 of the $45 back to Violet. She disagreed and said she was going to make our lives difficult, I told Violet to do what she needed. Approx. 1 hour later, Violet's mother called stating she has previously used us and had an exceptional result but in order for her to use my company again, we must refund $90. So not only the disinfectant amount of $45, but also another $45. At that point, I again offered the $22.50 refund. Violet's mother rejected that offer and threatened legal action. I do apologize for this situation and hope that Violet now recognizes that certain carpet cleaning (dog urine) situations require more attention and treatment. Darcy Holloway In response to Brandi Callaghan's review; As a reputable carpet and upholstery cleaning company, and having serviced the Okanagan Valley for over 25 years we take great pride in all of our cleaning. Unfortunately until we apply our products and equipment on spots and stains we do not know the end result. Some stains are permanent, and due to the excessive and heavy staining on Brandi Callaghan's mattress we were not successful with 100% remediation of the staining. As stated in all of our advertising and invoicing stain removal cannot be guaranteed. Brandi unfortunately was not willing to accept this explanation. We had an area where a cat had peed on our carpet. We got an appointment right away the value for the price was incredible and the service was super professional and respectful. The carpet started to smell again a little bit just because it was such a badly soiled area and with one message they came back the next day to re deodorize and disinfect the area. I agree with Brandi. I had a service done this AM, the girl on the phone was great, the gentleman who did the carpet cleaning was nice enough, however he went ahead and added a service I did not agree to. None of my furniture was moved (couch is VERY light, dressers, bar stools etc, I was instructed once he arrived that it need to be moved - their site states they do this.) All said and done it was an extra $45+. I paid and had him go on his way knowing it would not be in his hands to adjust. I called the business owner immediately after and received a call back within the hour. To put it very simply, this man should NOT be running a company. His argument (which went on for well over twenty minutes between 2 separate phone calls) was that I 'didn't say no'. He then followed up by saying I am 'beaking off', trying to 'hoodwink him' etc., all I had wanted was an apology and the $45 difference for the service I didn't agree upon. During the second call, it was himself and the man who did the service, against myself; it quickly turned into a he said, she said. VERY unprofessional. You could not retire soon enough, I do however feel bad for whoever is taking over your company. Word of mouth travels fast. If you want poor service and horrible customer service, book with this company; the owner only ever argues or attacks when a problem arises. Awful! Update; all stains resurfaced within 48 hours. So even after being overcharged with an amount for a service not agreed to, they still weren't able to remove anything. All we were left with was a headache, soaking wet carpets and a bad experience. A very small section near our deck door was the only area our puppy had any accidents, even those resurfaced. All the owner ever does is fabricate and argue so I will not be calling for further discussion. Terrible service!

Showed up to clean my carpets, never removed shoes or put on any slipcovers. Carpet looked good when wet but then dried with large dark patches that were not there before. They called me as a follow up and when I explained I was not pleased they said "we will have to pull your invoice and get back to you". That was 2 weeks ago and still no call back. Will never use them again. Why do a follow up quality call if you won't follow through.

I had Pro Steam clean the carpets prior to moving into my new condo. After their office initially getting the scope of the project all wrong, I was stunned to find the place after the cleaning (and 24 hours prior to move-in) with carpets all rippling and bubbles everywhere. Nobody even bothered to call me to give me a heads up about this. When I called their office, they got all snarky and told me to place fans everywhere. Yeah right, I usually keep a selection of fans at a place that I haven't even moved into... When you want good customer service, I recommend you steer clear...

Booked company well in advance to clean carpets in our two units for winter students who rent them. Darcy called us with less than 48 hours notice to say he had a man down with a injured leg and would not be able to come out. Left us is a very difficult position. When asked if he could reschedule another customer who's needs were not as urgent, he said that because we are in Lake Country it would cost him too much to send a truck out here. They probably should not advertise that they service Lake Country if he has no way to efficiently service the area. What was particularly appalling is that there was absolutely no effort to rectify or sympathy for our situation. Seemed to think nothing of making his problem our problem. Obviously will never call him again, as their word is not their bond.

Used this company few years ago under old owner, no problem. Called them back told new owners, booked them. Carpet worse than before they cleaned. Called them to advise not satisfied was told that they could come back next time in area but would cost more money. They suggested I try vinegar and water which worked. Some much for customer service. Never use them again
