We had our ducts vacuumed and dryer vent cleaned. Cordell was very professional. He did a very thorough job spending over four hours in total. He explained everything involved and even showed us before and after photos of ducts. Considering the quality of the work I think the fee was reasonable. I would definitely hire Purair again.

If you are looking for the best duct and vent cleaning company out there, call Modern PURAIR. Jordan was amazing, explained every detail, ensured that we were all on the same page from start to finish, ensured that we did a walk around afterwards and explained some more on 'why' we should and should not do things with venting (only owned a home for 25 years) and was finally explained some things re my furnace, heating bills etc. Their vehicle is exceptionally clean which is the starting point in my mind. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I had an appt made for over a month, and they phoned me to cancel it one day before due to an emergency job that came up. I understand they make more money on the emergency job than from me, but I explained I have been waiting for this appt for weeks and can't turn on my furnace until the vents are cleaned out. We just bought a house from a suspect seller and found all sorts of paraphernalia in the vents and don't feel comfortable turning on the furnace yet. Super disappointed.

We were so impressed with the service provided from start to finish. We were able to book a time for vent and duct cleaning around our schedules, and when the first time didn’t end up working for us they were responsive and accommodating with a new time later in the day. On the day of the appointment there was clear communication, a reminder, and arrival right on time. Service was professional, kind and efficient. We could not believe how much came out of our drier vent and were so glad we booked the service. Upon showing friends the video of it they realized how they, too, should have theirs done. Everything else was completed with care and thoroughly explained from start to finish, so there were no hidden costs. We will definitely refer to friends and use again for other services.

Very unhappy with this business...while the service tech was a nice guy to start with. This doesn't go far when you drill into our air conditioning unit while doing our duct cleaning in Kelowna and then the niceness changes. We were left on the hook to replace our central air conditioning unit with no effort on the part of Modern PURAIR to investigate the problem or discussion of repair/compensation. Not worth getting your ducts cleaned in Kelowna from Modern Purair when they destroy your a/c unit.

I felt confident and trusted him to be here working while I was away and my wife and 2 month old daughter were here. James was clean and efficient. We were SHOCKED at what was removed from our ducts (and what we breathe everyday). Jordan did an efficient, thorough job. We also liked the fact that he explained everything VERY clearly and answered ALL our questions to our satisfaction. You get what you pay for and this service was DEFINITELY the biggest bang for our buck!

"LOOK NO FURTHER" this company was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I used Modern Purair today for both a furnace and duct cleaning and an Air Quality Test. Jeff did the duct cleaning and was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. Later in the day Aaron provided an air quality test... Lets just say other comapanies had quoted me $1000 and they weren't going to be as quick or as thorough as Aaron from Purair for around $400. We recently had Colin from Modern Purair come to clean the ducts and vents in our 50 year old house. Colin was very responsive and personable, and was even able to show up earlier than the scheduled time (after checking to make sure that was okay). It's also very convenient that they offer appointments later in the day, so that I didn't need to take time off from work. And even though I had to book the last appointment of the day, Colin was still super friendly and didn't seem to be rushing just to finish. He went through the whole process and explained what he was going to be doing, and then gave a clearly broken down estimate of the final cost before starting. He clearly explained the optional services that can be added to the cleaning, but there was never any pressure to buy in. Despite the fact that the placement of our old furnace was going to make it difficult, Colin got right in there, problem solved on the spot and was able to get it done, quicker than he initially thought. After he had cleaned up, there was no mess left over and you couldn't even tell he'd been here. Except for the clean ducts. He showed me some before and after pictures that he'd taken, as well as all the junk that had collected in the vacuum bag, it was pretty nasty. Overall we were very happy with the experience, and would definitely use Modern Purair again. Thanks Colin!

I’m so glad I called ModernPURAIR Kelowna! We really needed a thorough duct cleaning and Jordan did an exceptional job. I will always use MPA for future work and I’ll request Jordan although I expect their whole team is excellent. I really appreciated Jordan’s level of knowledge, professionalism and conscientiousness. Our job was a big one and he was in our house for the whole day. He was hardworking and focussed while also being really warm and friendly. Jordan identified a problem with our existing filter fit. He explained in detail how that issue was compromising our furnace and reducing our air quality. He was cognizant of cost and didn’t just up sell us, rather he provided very good rationale for a custom filter which we chose to go with. He measured the space and then went and measured it again just before leaving to make absolutely sure it was going to fit perfectly. He went out of his way to reduce mess on the floor. He swept up and wiped up. I really can’t say enough good things about my experience with MPA and with Jordan specifically. Our air quality is excellent and I have a much better understanding of our systems.

Excellent experience !! very simple process to book an appointment online. followed up with a confirmation phone call. technician called 30 minutes prior to appt time to advise he was on schedule. Aaron was very knowledgable, thorough, and explained all aspects of the cleaning process. 'Extras' were offered with no hardsell pressure. we went for the sanitization upgrade and are happy we did. the before and after photos show you just how complete their unique proprietary process is. also chose to have the dryer vent cleaned and a bathroom fan completely disassembled and cleaned, including the vent stack (from the roof). The price was reasonable given the job takes 3-4 hours. No mess, a bit of noise but otherwise you won't know they were there except for the nice forest scent left behind by the sanitizer.

Once into the job, they found that the hallway ducts were very much dirtier than expected. It was supposed to be a two day job. It turned into about a 7 day job. Matt was friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. He did not rush to get done and out but took his time to do it right and make sure it was quality work. He got all the dust and pet hair from the previous owner out of my system so I won't wake up sneezing every morning when the furnaces turns on. My furnace and fans are now about 50% quieter now as well. It's not cheap but I feel well worth it especially when you move into a new home because who knows what the previous owners have left for you in the ducts.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a good review. My technician was very friendly, but I was disappointed by a few aspects of my service. He removed his mask multiple times during the provincially ordered mandate that masks be worn indoors. As a mother, with a toddler cruising all over the place, this was concerning. I also spent the extra money to have my dryer vent cleaned and later went out to find the entire contents that had been blown out to still remain on my deck. It was raining that day, so the wet lint/dirt was a terrible mess to clean up. I will look elsewhere for my ducts to be cleaned next time.

Just had my furnace serviced and all the ducts vacuumed out. Christian was very professional and did a great job, even when his vacuum wouldn't restart. Took a few minutes and a call to a technician but in the end he got it done. Not a speck of dirt left behind. If you haven't had your duct work cleaned out you will be shocked at what comes out. We had a flood on our main level that leaked down to our basement. The ducts had water in them and needed to be dried and cleaned as well as the furnace. Modern PurAir was the company brought it by the restoration company and they were great. Jeff was the fellow working in our home. He was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Always wore a mask, had the booties, very professional. If I ever had a reason to call for this service again, they would be my first choice.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Was quoted a price and then when the technicians arrived on-site the cost magically doubled. They tried to upcharge me on everything imaginable when all I asked for was a furnace duct cleaning. Would not recommend to anyone. I called my HVAC guy after and told him what they were trying to do. He told me they were trying to rip me off because I didn’t need half the things they were trying to up charge me. He told me Modern Purair work on commission so they always try to up charge the customer, even if it is for services they do not need.

I moved into an older townhouse 2 months ago. I wanted my ducts to be cleaned because I didnt want to be breathing years worth of dander and dust from the old owners and their cats. Austin and Tyler showed up from Modern PurAir and helped me out a lot! They were on time, very professional and they were great guys too! They were very thorough and did a great job! Now my air smells clean when the furnace starts up. Years worth of dust and dander is gone, they cleaned my dryer duct too. Five Stars to Austin and Tyler from Modern PurAir!

Michael serviced my furnace and cleaned the ducts in my modular home. Because a modular has different duct work than a typical home, he had to modify the vacuum in order to access the ducts properly. Michael confirmed the procedure with his Manager and it was approved. Michael was courteous and informative in explaining how the vacuum system works. Michael was efficient and was able to reschedule the appointment earlier which worked well for me. Michael emailed me the receipt of the work done upon completion. Reception at Purair was very helpful in reminding me of my appointment by text message. Overall I rate the service as 4 stars and I am happy with the result. Thank you.

It had been on my mind to get our ducts cleaned out for quite some time, finally one evening I google'd furnace and air duct cleaning Kelowna, and Modern PURAIR came up first. I was pleasantly surprised that I could book online on their website. The process was simple and took all of 10 minutes for me to do. Once I booked, I immediately got an email notification from the company. Fantastic! The Modern PURAIR team called me 30 minutes ahead of time when they were on their way. The technician arrived on time, and explained their services and the process very well! They also cleaned our bathroom exhaust vents, and our dryer vent! They also showed me what they got out of our ductwork - let's jut say it was well worth the money to get rid of that from our home! Our home smells cleaner, and is much less dusty since the cleaning. I will certainly use Modern PURAIR again. Thanks for showing me the "PURAIR" way!

Super disappointed. We had read all the fabulous reviews and were set on this company. We took the first available appointment and arranged to have my FIL at the house while we were both at work, but no one showed. And no phone call on the day/time of the appointment. I call them and am told by the manager that the “miscommunication” was that the tech who was supposed to do the work “sliced open his hand” the day before the appointment and they called then, but were unable to get ahold of anyone and “the voicemail was not set up”. So instead of trying the second number on file, or calling the day of the appointment, there was zero follow up to make sure they got ahold of someone and my FIL sat at our house for 3 hours, for nothing. I am then told the next time they can book me in is over a month from the original appointment. Too bad.

Ashamed to admit it, but we had our ducts cleaned for the first time! Our house is 13 years old. Bernie and Jeff arrived on time and were very pleasant and friendly. What a thorough job they did. Needless to say our air intakes and vents were dirty. Bernie showed us some before and after pictures and a filter bag all the dust goes into. There was a lot. It took them about four hours. We would certainly recommend them.

Josh arrived right on time and did a professional and pleasant job of explaining the whole process including showing me the actual device that is used, and what to expect in terms of noise etc. When he was finished everything was clean and back in place, as it was when he arrived. The service man was nice but left my furnace with open holes that look like they were cut with a chainsaw as well as a large scuff on my wall. And then asked me to give them a good review! Upon letting the company know they refused to compensate me. I will not be using this "service" in the future.
