The cleaning was quite good and the team was polite but the cost was very high. It cost me over 260$ for a little over an hour- less than 1.5 hours of their time. They had originally quoted me for over 300$ to do a smaller area and so adjusted the price but I would recommend getting a couple of quotes before choosing who you use.

They did a great job on cleaning the area rug but the person who brought it back to our home was very rude. He was not happy to bring it up the stairs to the upper floor. When he did climb the stairs I greeted him at the top of the stairs which he had no reply. He brought the rug in and just dropped it on the floor without asking where we would like. We just moved into our first detached home, and bought a set of barstools, with a grey linen type fabric. These were expensive and hard to find- so we were quite frustrated when a grocery bag was accidentally left on the chair for a few moments, and we realized some milk had leaked through. We tried soap & water, and a few other things, but the stain was set. I phoned Ken at Sani-Tech and ended up leaving the chair at their shop in Qualicum. After a few days, when we spoke, he advised that he was unsuccessful using various methods, but before I would come to get the chair, he would do his best to try a few methods from his old days in the dry-cleaning business. Weeks of searching for the right furniture and after significant cost, my wife was quite upset. By the time we arrived to pick up the chair, Ken had been able to get the stain out about 98%, and what is left cannot really be noticed by anyone else. He went into detail on the methods he used, and provided a LOT of info on how to keep them protected. It was great to see someone with so much passion, and he basically took us on a bit of a tour to show us some of the unique tools, chemicals, & cutting edge technology they have at their disposal. We actually have a 10 X 12 large white rug that we’ll likely need cleaned once year- and he gave us all the info we needed for when we decide to. We know that it’s silly to get so worked up over a chair, but we work hard to save and have nice things, and so for him to be able to restore that for us- meant a lot. On top of all this, he charged us an incredibly generous fee for his services. Literally, a 10 out of 10 experience. Thanks Ken!

I was very impressed with Merrick's pleasant demeanor and strong work ethics. He showed up on time and promptly began to work. I have wall to wall carpeting throughout the house covering approximately 1,350 sq ft and Merrick was in and out within 1 3/4 hours. I did have most of the smaller pieces of furniture, lamps, ornaments and tables etc. moved out of the way that may have expedited the job a little. Merrick knew what he was doing and completed the job proficiently. The carpets look great!

This is the third or fourth time I used Sani-Tech to clean my carpets, twice in my home and twice in my rented condo. Each time the guys were super, courteous and comical as well as great carpet cleaners. Today they were so kind as to removed everything I place on the beds back on the floor with styrofoam block underneath items to keep off the wet floor. The owner said you need a bed to sleep in tonight. I was so impressed that he did that. Way beyond the call of duty but so appreciated at the same time. I highly recommend this company to anyone out there who want professional experts to clean their carpet.
