I brought my mackage jacket in and the RUINED my leather. What ever products they used on it was to harsh and turned it from black to blue/green colour. They were not willing to help me out and the owner was extremely rude on top of that they did not give a refund! Do not bring your jacket there without taking a before and after picture. THE WAY MY JACKET CAME IS IS NOT THE WAY IT CAME OUT!! they try to blame it on having an older jacket. 1. my jacket isn't old. 2. if it came in with great condition that is how it should have left. Thank goodness I was smart enough to take pictures of my jacket before and Mackage is now investigating as I have provided proof. Not worth the risk folks. They insisted this has never happened before but yet I see reviews in here that suggest it has... they are money thirsty and do not take care of your jacket at all.

Unbelievable service!!!! My Rudsak jacket had gone through 4 winters and had seen better days. The patch had torn off the arm and the back of 1 of the arms had split. Fixing both of those issues and giving it a good clean made my jacket look brand new - that a good friend who has seen it for years, asked if I had bought a new jacket, it looks that good. I take all my outdoor coats to Hollanderizing - I was initially recommended to them by Mackage with my first leather jacket purchase, and have never looked back. I admit they are not the cheapest option, but well worth every penny if you want to make sure your items are taken care of properly. I've had terrible dry cleaner experiences (one packed up and left with all their clients' clothes!) and Hollanderizing is a different level. Their customer service is excellent and friendly, they turn around items quickly, and the delivery service is punctual and easy. Highly recommend!!!

Called to ask for a quote to repair my moose knuckle cuffs. 200 plus tax is too much, when I asked why, the guy said that dry clean is 100 plus tax and it has to be bundled with repair. I get the part of repair but why it has to be dry clean by your guys even I just got it back from a dry clean store?

This place is a bit off the beaten path and hard to find, but I'm really glad that I did! I bought a Pajar packable down jacket at Winners, and noticed when I got home that one of the seams had come undone. Rather than return it, I figured trying to get it fixed was best. I found Hollanderizing as a recommendation on Pajar's website and took it there. They turned the work around fast, and you can't even tell there was a problem to begin with. Very happy with the results! Avi and his team were also super friendly and great to work with. Will definitely be doing business there again!

extremely extremely rude service. the owners think they are trying to make up for the bad reviews by responding positively but in fact all the responses sound extremely aggressive, which reflects how they are in real life. please don't waste your money and if anyone has better places to recommend, please do!!

This was the worst dry cleaning experience I've ever had. The only positive was the fact that they picked up my jacket so I didn't have to drop it off to the dry cleaning place. I had coffee stains all over my jacket, the fur looked great but it's not like it ever looked dirty before I sent it out so who knows if they even cleaned it. They returned it back after 2 weeks and I was so shocked to see that none of the stains were gone and only around the neck it looked clean. So I called them back to complain and the guy told me to bring it after the holidays, and the hours are so limited that there is no way I can drop it off during the weekday without taking work off. They are also closed during weekends ofcourse and didn't offer to pick up and gave me this line: "We don't promise stain removal sorry but we'll take a look". So I ordered Grangers down wash off of amazon after doing some research and I spot cleaned it myself and tell me how all the stains are gone because they were nothing but coffee stains, not oil or turmeric. I wasted money and time and I am disappointed that Rudsak promoted this dry cleaning place out of all the places. I am going to let them know of my review as well.

My Moose Knuckle jacket had a weird odour and the fur is quite yellow. After they cleaned it the smell is completely gone. As for the fur, I can tell they really tried. My fur was very abnormally yellow. Even though after cleaning it's not as white as it used to be anymore, it is still more bright than before and they did a good job on cleaning the fur. I think the yellow color of the fur is just because I have had a for quite a few years now, and I would rather the fur being clean than if they used a harsh method and damage it. My only concern is the color of my jacket is a tiny bit faded and the jacket came back quite wrinkly. Bottom line I'm good with the service and I may come back again when spring is here.

Called for a quote to replace my Moose knuckle jacket Cuffs, first call the agent mentioned $80 plus tax, I mentioned I will call back in an hour and hung up. I called back, the price changed to $200 plus tax. Unacceptable.

Think twice before using Hollanderizing. They damaged a coat in the cleaning process and denied any responsibility. The cleaning itself was below average and see attached pictures of damage. I asked them to refund my cleaning and pay for the repair of the item but they refused. An offer was made to repair the coat back at their facilities but I can't trust them any longer. I don't reccomend this company at all.

All the 5 star reviews are fake because they all pop up immediately after a bad review is placed. I sent in 2 Canada goose jackets which they RUINED. It looked like they came out of a dogs mouth. They came back with more damage, and even dirtier. Their customer service is trashy and they will have no issue to talk down to you or yell at you (they did both to me) to make it seem like you know nothing. Do yourself a favour and NEVER send your items here - you pay good money for your items, so don’t get it ruined here. I updated my review because it was too lengthy and was pushed down to the bottom. I want to make sure no one goes through a bad experience with this company.

I used Hollanderizing twice to clean my Mackage coat. The first year I used them, the coat was return undamaged. The second year however, the coat returned damage to which Hollanderizing took no responsibility for. Firstly, there was a lack of transparency of cost prices. There was a significant price hike the following year that was not communicated until after I received the bill. A repeat customer should be told that there is a change in prices, otherwise one is likely to assume that the price is the same. Secondary, the fur trim was clearly compromised when returned. It looked like a chemical had been left on too long because what was once coloured, straight fur returned white, crimped and shorter in some areas. I contacted Hollanderizing via email and sent along before and after pictures but did not hear back, so I called after a few days. I finally got through to the owner who was quite sarcastic on the phone. He first insisted that he inspected the coat himself and it was perfect. I told him that I did not agree that it looked perfect. Eventually, he offered to reassess the coat and clean it again. I told him that I wasn’t comfortable with another cleaning but I was willing to come to the store to assess the damage together. I showed him all the areas that were damaged and he asked that I leave it with him for a few days. When I heard back, he stood firm and said that he is satisfied with how the fur trim looks and took no responsibility for the damage. Although I made it clear that I disagreed with his assessment, he did not offer any peace offering (such as refunding the cost of the cleaning or providing a discount for the next time or offering to repair the damage) that might comfort a disgruntled customer. I will not use Hollanderizing again and have made it clear to Mackage that they should be careful about advertising on their behalf. I purchased a Mackage coat as an investment in hopes of using this for years to come and I only got two years out of this coat. I am so disappointed. I never leave reviews, but the condescending, sarcastic customer service I received and the quality of the service was so terrible, it led me to want to warn others who are considering using Hollanderizing.

I was recommended to go to them by Mackage (Yorkdale) and they picked my jacket up and delivered it back to my house exactly a week later in better than new condition. Definitely my go to place from now on!

I took my MK jacket to be repaired, expecting it to be re-stuffed with the down that it was missing because this is a jacket repair and alterations company. For the $320 they charged me to replace the patch in the back could have been done for a much cheaper price if it wasn't going to be re-stuffed. Now I need to find another company and spend more money to re-stuff the jacket with down.

Hi, I was referred to Hollanderizing by Sporting Life recently when I asked them where to take my Canada Goose and Mackage jackets to get cleaned. My biggest concern was harming the fur trim on the jackets. Not only did the furs look new when they returned our coats but they were able to remove stains I thought would never come out. I used Hollanderizing after it being recommended by Sporting Life. Cost was $80 to pick up, dry clean and drop off a white Goose bomber jacket. More expensive than others but seemed reasonable considering the pick up and drop off only problem is that it takes a few weeks to get it back. I received the jacket back, took it home took it out of the bag and instantly the smell of chemicals smacked me in the face. I left it outside for a few days hoping I could air it out. This smell did not go away, it was so strong I could not leave the jacket in the house or wear it. I also noticed a faint blue stain on the back of the jacket that was not there before I sent it. I called the company and spoke to someone, advised him of the issue. He said they would pick it up because I guess they didn`t notice the smell. I asked what they do to fix this, he laughed and said he couldn`t tell me. I mentioned the stain and they went on about there is no way that it was their fault. (lets say it wasn`t, why didnt they remove it when it was cleaned). They picked up the jacket and returned it to me today(one week later after they said it would only take a few days). The jacket still smells like chemicals. I asked my co workers and they confirmed it is not just me but the jacket does have a strong smell of chemicals. I contacted Adam at the company, explained it to him. He said he is only has good as the tools he has. Well obviously the tools he has are not good enough. He said there was nothing more they can do. I said if you take someone property and ruin it then you are negligent and should compensate them appropriately. He basically said so sad to bad.

I had gotten my 5 year old Mooseknuckle cleaned, cuffs replaced, and repairs to the elbows. They did a fantastic job, my coat feels and looks like brand new! I was referred to Hollanderizing from the Mooseknuckle store so I could trust that it was a reputable business. The cost is not cheap, but the quality in their work really shows! It saves the cost of purchasing a new jacket so to me it was worth every penny. And they also offer free pickup and delivery which is very helpful! Thank you so much, I love the results!

I have had my 10 year old Canada Goose jacket cleaned here twice (2016 & 2021). Both times, my jacket has been returned to me undamaged. There was no colour fading, cuts, or damage done to the pockets/zippers. I recently had my cuffs replaced here. The work done was impeccable. There were no loose stitches or cuts made to the jacket. The work done by Hollanderizing has given my jacket the life to go through 2-3 more seasons. What stands out the most at Hollanderizing is the staff. Adam has been super helpful in educating me on what is worthwhile doing to the jacket. I never once felt pressured to perform a particular service. I also appreciate the kindness and friendly nature of the delivery driver. Avoid! My Canada Goose came back looking the same as it did when it left, including little dust particles (it's a dark coat so they're noticeable) and the stain I specifically asked them to take care of. It honestly looks like nothing was done to it.

Unfortunately, i forgot to take pictures of my new jacket before taking it there and was not happy receiving my new jacket with my leather ruined and the inside tags all destroyed. Make sure you take pictures of your item so that you have proof of the condition it was in. in regards to owner's reply - Just to be clear i never expressed that my jacket had been through a few seasons, i received the jacket as a gift for christmas last year so the excuse of the jacket not being new is untrue. I wore it a few times yes but my leather was not damaged as you said in your reply. I do not appreciate the fact that i paid for a service that was not to my satisfaction and again also destroyed all my tags and the only reason i walked out of your office in "good terms" was because there was clearly nothing you would do from your end due to my lack of proof on how my coat looked before. There was no conversation prior in terms of your "assessment "you guys apparently provided before completing the service that should of been mentioned to me as a customer that that's what your staff had observed so that i could of made an informed decision to continue with the service or not. But again that was not the case as my only concern was a small stain on the hood of my jacket that i wanted removed and to make sure my jacket was ready for this winter.

Hello. I had a new Mack-age jacket and a new puppy. The two had an encounter and my jacket was soon losing down in five areas so I patched it with duct tape. Not a good look. I talked to Adam @ Hollanderizing and he said they could try to patch it with black leather patches. Now it looks cool sort of a sci fi modern look and very unique. Thank you very much for fixing my coat!

Super disappointed this year! They used to have very good customer service in the past couple of years. This year they are super slow and each time the staff on the phone talk down to the clients and their tone is super unprofessional. I don't appreciate the long wait for their mistake and also being disrespected while paying their high prices to get treated well as a customer! I will stop recommending them to people, so they get to appreciate their clients more when they have lower demand!

Here's why I love Hollanderizing- they did everything they said they would. They picked up and delivered my Canada Goose and Mackage coats for me at my office and brought them back looking almost as good as the day I bought them. I was recommended by Sporting Life and I'm glad I followed their instructions as some of my co-workers have had serious issues taking it to their local dry cleaner- NOT good if your coat costs nearly $1000 like mine. I was quite satisfied with the service and the work Hollanderizing did and I wanted to help spread the word. I will definitely be back next year!

great recommendation. My boyfriends cream coloured moose knuckle had some ink on the neck collar. I was told they would try their best to clean as much as possible. I was happy when I got the jacket back, free pick up and delivery. The ink on the collar was completely gone and looked brand new. Really good customer service, definitely going back.

Always always read the reviews! Especially the ones that aren't "recommended" by Yelp or the like. I was eager on getting my Canada Goose jacket dry cleaned again after only getting it done once a few years back. I've had my jacket for about 4-5 years and this was my second time getting it cleaned because of my apprehension after my first experience with another dry cleaning company. I inquired with Sporting Life regarding any dry cleaning companies within Toronto they could recommend, and the only company they recommended was Hollanderizing Inc. I looked at their website to see their prices and where they were located and although their prices weren't advertised (I had to email them), I liked how they offered a complimentary pick up and delivery (for $75 they should pick it up and deliver). The price also includes insurance... which after my experience, I am not sure was worth the splurge because upon receiving my jacket this past Monday, I noticed a tear on one of the arms of the jacket. I phoned the next day after the delivery (after further inspection of the jacket) and the woman I spoke with told me the boss/manager would call me back. He called back later in the day and told me to email them pictures of the damaged goods so one of the employees can assess it. I figured it might take them about a day to email or call me back to let me know what they can do for me. However, upon receiving a call back this morning, they basically told me they ALL discussed the situation and decided that bottom line was: it wasn't their fault. Their dry cleaning process "does not damage jackets nor does the handling of items during transport". Right. Because when one of your associates picked it up, I had my jacket in a plastic bag for some protection and he said he didn't need the bag because they hang the jackets in the back of the van. I am not a psychic but maybe my jacket got caught on another jacket's zipper or the hanging rack or a loose screw in the van? But no, I am not a psychic. Apparently the "best" they can do for me was for ME to drop my jacket off MYSELF and pay $10-15 for them to repair the damage that DEFINITELY WAS NOT THERE before they picked it up. Uhm, why did I pay for insurance though?! Beware! Maybe for a cheaper jacket ($100 or less) you should get it cleaned here if you don't mind getting a damaged jacket back, but for upwards of a $500+ jacket, you might as well clean it yourself (that is, spot cleaning as opposed to putting it in the washer and dryer FYI). I should have just went to the dry cleaning company I went to the first time (the one inside Loblaws on Dupont). The quality of cleaning is the same, and mind you the first time I got it back and I wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness, they happily took it back to re-clean FREE OF CHARGE! Now that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! Oh and did I mention they only charged $30-40?! Plus it WASN'T DAMAGED!

WARNING!!! I know they are recommended by Mackaje and i am going to report them to mackaje as well. they will demage your jacket and blame you. one guy picking up the jackets and giving them to regular dry cleaners. They dont wana tell you how they process there cleaners.

Not Impressed. I was recommended by Mendocino to use Hollanderizing to dry-clean my Mackage jacket. I thought It was very convenient the fact that they come and pick up your jacket and deliver when they have finished the service.I have purchased my mackage 5 years ago and take immense care of it, there were areas on the sleeve that needed to be cleaned as well as the bottom of the jacket. After they have returned my jacket, it looked like in some areas it was cleaned; however, around the sleeves and bottom of the jacket was still dirty. I pay for a service to expect my jacket comes back better then what I have handed it in for. Customer service was not the greatest. Definitely when you are booking the appointment, customer service was amazing! However; if you aren't pleased with the results, after you have paid, customer service was not ideal. Satisfactory NOT guaranteed.
