Ocean berated me for having old carpets "that should have been replaced" long ago. I had him clean my rental condo. No tenant has ever mentioned that they thought the carpets needed replacement. He spoke harshly and humiliated me for not having professional cleaning more often. I asked him why there was a line of dust under the baseboards after he was finished. He said it is the ventilation of the air and nothing can be done about it. After I paid him and he left, I took a shop vac at the baseboards and the dust came out easily. Avoid!

I had recently moved into a new place in Airdrie and the previous owners owned a dog. The carpets were in need of refreshing and Ocean came and did just that. He was able to work around my schedule and come in and clean my carpets within a couple of days. He moved the small furniture out of the way to clean as much space as possible and got out the couple stains that were in the carpet without leaving any notice that they even existed. Someone needs a lesson in customer service and how to be professional. When speaking to him yesterday on the phone I told him a room was a living room dining room combo and I gave him the exact measurement. Today he says it’s two rooms and that will change the price. Why wasn’t this mentioned yesterday? He was 1/2 hr late for his appt and no apology. He then asked when was the last time we had the carpets cleaned was and old they were. We explained that we had cleaned them ourselves but not had them professionally done before. He gave my mom a look of disdain and harsh disapproval. Once we mentioned that we weren’t sure about the new price he said well there’s other companies out there and then he walked out. Haha I’m not sure who this guy is or how he manages to stay in business, but it’s ridiculous.

No show on the day of a carpet cleaning for our rental condo on the final day of our lease. Despite the appointment being made months in advance and confirming in the week leading up, the business was a no-show and the response shifted the onus of blame onto a contractor. We did not receive an immediate apology, an offer that he would send someone over that afternoon, or a discounted rate. Instead we received an offer to have it done the next day. If you want someone reliable, I wouldn't engage this business. Regardless of whether you use contractors or not, you should be aware of their own whereabouts and ensure work is being done. When we booked months out from the end date of our lease and had a huge number of businesses to choose from, it's extremely disappointing to receive a no-show and a fault-deflecting response with no reasonable resolve under the circumstances. It also seems from these reviews that Oceane himself does much of the cleaning, so who is to say there ever was a contractor, and to that point, he could have very well come and done it himself. It put our damage deposit return at risk, and there seemed to be no regard, other than for the business to do it at another time that was convenient for them to continue to cash in on this job. My partner waited several hours, in any empty condo, past the appointment to even hear from the business. Oceane clearly doesn't run a tight ship.
