Misty and her team were fantastic. Leading up to my appointment to have my home cleaned, I received regular text updates. The communication from her was outstanding! My home was being cleaned prior to sale closing. Her and her team did an a amazing job cleaning my home. The real estate agent and nee home owners were very happy as well! I had a lazy susan in a corner cupboard that was pretty dirty and stained. It sparkled after they were through. Arrived on time, were quick and efficient- maybe 50 minutes total in and out! I liked the text messages/updates that were sent (reminder the morning of, when they were on-route to my home, and when they finished.) An email came shortly after they left with the invoice and payment instructions-- super easy. I noticed a couple minor things... 1.) the main upstairs bathroom was still kind of 'dirty'- the sink wasn't wiped out/counter felt a bit grimy, and the faucet still had spots all over it. The toilet inside/around the seat was okay-- but the tank/lid was not wiped down well. 2.) around my kitchen island where my dogs bowls normally sit, there was still a lot of dried dirt/spots on the floor. I could see it was still drying around that general area so they did mop, but they must've not noticed it needed to be scrubbed. I did a quick scrub/mop myself around my island and wiped down the bathroom again with some cleaner. Was much easier to do those two things rather than the entire house myself. After they left, my house looked and smelled good! They found lots of kids toys under my couch that were picked up off the floor so they could clean (proof they moved the furniture!) My master bath was sparkling, the upstairs floors/stairs looked nice, they vacuumed out my laundry room (the matt was lint/dog hair free), entry way/living room looked good (they even cleaned the dog hair/dust off the base of my lamp!), my stainless steel appliances were smudge free... and my favorite, the main floor half bath that my kids always DESTROY looked brand new/squeaky clean. Overall, the positives outweighed the couple minor issues. I would use this company again!

Why Aren't You Vegan?

Nothing like coming home to a very clean house. The cleaning crew of 3 just came yesterday, my place is one of those cookie cutter 3 bedroom split entries on Jeep Crescent. Pros They cleaned everything I expected them to clean, to the degree that I expected them to clean it, which was awesome. They were on time They completed the job very fast, and to a high standard Me being at work and having to leave my only house key for them was no problem at all. Just leave the key somewhere and they pick it up, and put it back when they're done. No problem. Cons It cost me 131.10 after tax, which I'm happy to pay for the service I got. But the quote they initially sent me was for around 98.50 after tax, and that came with an advisement from Misty that this price was based on a presumed 3 hour job, but the job ended up being faster then that. Wouldn't that mean the price would come down? I'm just not sure where the price discrepancy came from. I also don't care too much - 131.10 for the service I got was a no brainer for me; easily worth it. Conclusion This is the first time I have used a cleaning service so I have nothing to compare this company to, but I am very happy with this experience. I can see why getting your house professionally cleaned is so popular. I will probably try a different company next time just so I can make a comparison, but these guys are local to me and there is something to be said for spending your money locally. Would definitely recommend. edit: as per the below reply, I was mistaken about the job speed. It actually took longer then the initial quote, thus the price increase. Given this information, there were no cons. Give them a call if you need your house cleaned!

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Even Under the Rug Cleaning. They've been doing bi-weekly cleaning for me since I moved to the Passage...excellent attention to detail, at a fair price. I recently called them in a panic...renovations had left my entire house covered in drywall dust. It was everywhere! Misty rejigged the schedule to accommodate a sooner than planned thorough clean. I joke that they make my life worth living, but it's not far from the truth!

The communication was always prompt . I had them in twice for cleaning, they were efficient and worked hard. Unfortunately attention to detail was lacking. Obvious things were missed the first time and the second time it was the same thing. I don’t have a large home and do my best to prepare it for them by tidying and keeping it free from clutter. Maybe if they went behind each other just to check and see if the other missed anything or if they just slowed down a bit the little misses wouldn’t happen ? ????‍♀️ I’m glad others have had better experiences than me !

Hired them to clean the kitchen in my mother's apartment. She reported that they came in a s agroup of 3. They were friendly, worked without stopping from the time they arrived until the time they left. Their work was well done and they were fast and efficient. I highly recommend them.

We started using their services when I had to be away for work for an extended period of time. We thought it would be a great help to my husband while I was away. There were some minor learning curves but each initial concern was met with immediate corrective action and Misty was pleasant and professional to communicate with. We’ve continued to use the service since I’ve been home and do not foresee us stopping in the near future. The bi-weekly cleaning is a welcomed helping hand.

This was my first time using a cleaning company. I picked the one time deep clean + walls. The initial process was great. Quick and clear responses. Very professional. The arrival time switched a few times which wasn’t a problem as the automated messages were great to receive. The team came in, got right to work and were finished in about an hour and a half. When I arrived home, I noticed a few areas on the walls that were missed. It looked like my bookcases were quickly passed over as all the corners were still dusty. One small area above the cupboards was cleaned, however, the rest were untouched. The bathrooms were cleaned very well and they sparkled! I was shocked when I received my invoice and it was 2.5 hours ($71.25 + tax) higher than quoted and would have appreciated a heads up or some sort of communication. Overall, I think a bit more attention to detail and clarity into invoicing would have raised the rating.

Staff was quick to respond and able to book on short notice. Staff showed up on time and was very friendly. Multiple cleaners arrived and made it so that they weren’t in the house long. However, the basement wasn’t vacuumed at all; likely an oversight.
