Steamers has just finished our carpets and their service is exceptional. You can often judge good service by a job that goes well but when things go wrong...that's the true test. The Steamers crew came to our home and experienced some equipment problems. The first visit was not up to their standards so they promised to come back once the equipment was working. They kept me informed of the when the problem equipment would be fixed and when they could get back to make it right. Today they returned and the carpets are beautiful. They finished mid afternoon and by 6:30pm they are almost dry. They also cleaned an old recliner that I had no hope for. Very well done.

Brian and his partner came today to clean multiple blood stains from my carpet due to my dog having an ulcer in her stomach and throwing up blood. The stains were completely black and the smell was intolerable. There were also many other stains since my dog was extremely sick. I attached some before and after pictures (of just one area, the stains were EVERYWHERE in my room) so everyone can understand the extent of the stains; I truly didn't believe they would be able to get the stains out. They explained each step of the way to help me understand what was happening and they were very polite. They also finished early which was amazing because I am a student and needed to get to school. 10/10 would recommend to everybody.

When I came back to my place after a long period of absence due to work, I found that my roof had leaked and mold was growing on my carpet. When the carpets dried, some of the tuff stains re-appeared. The same people came back and re-cleaned the stained area again, free of charge. The carpet looks and smells great and fresh.

Fantastic service, I called in a panic and Brian and Guy were out here the very next day! My 5 year old had coloured in red permanent marker and black permanent marker on my couch and they were able to completely remove it as though it was never there, as well as remove all the grim and dirt. For the car, they were able to remove some pretty intense salt stains beneath the mats leaving the interior looking as new. Brian and his team is very professional for the carpet steam cleaning. I was calling them for dog odor removal service for my house and they did great job! Although the smell didn’t go away completely on the second floor as I expected because the previous home owner really made a mess for their carpet, they were managed to get 70% of the smell off and 100% for the basement. The price may be a bit more expensive than other carpet cleaning company but I won’t complain about the price when I saw their steam clean machine. Definitely recommend.

All I can say is 5 stars all day. I bumped into Brian in front of my building when I saw the Steamers truck (pretty much end of the work day). I needed a rug cleaned and he took the time out of his evening then and there to come on up, roll up and take my carpet to their facility for cleaning. I got a call a few days later that it was done and ready to be brought back. They came ASAP when it was best for my schedule. The drying process was a nightmare for this senior. Brian was punctual, friendly, courteous and had good communication skills. I have very thick plush carpets and the best and most expensive under pad under my carpets. A chemical cleaning solution, using a lot of water was applied to my carpets. Brian explained the process of his cleaning method, i.e. how the crystals form, etc. and that vacuuming afterwards is required. After they were finished, the carpets in 4 rooms very soaking wet and stayed wet for 2 days and were still damp for another 2 days. Since we live in the house, I had to walk on the carpets in order to move from room to room, spreading the chemical solution all over my front entrance, hall, kitchen and bathroom. On the second day Brian offered to loan me his high powered fan. My elderly husband is very sensitive to loud noises, so I operated the fan over night in the living room and dining room, getting up at 3 am and again at 6 am changing the position of the fan. I also had to push the 2 heavy hassocks into the hall, because the carpet was really soaked underneath. Even after running the fan for 6 hours in these 2 rooms the carpet was still quite damp. At 7 am - my husband was still sleeping - - I pulled out my heavy jet powered vacuum, which was a difficult task with my arthritic hands and neck. The carpet looked pretty good after the first vacuuming. After the vacuuming was done I had to wash all the floors: front entrance, hall, kitchen and bathroom, because of the sticky cleaning solution on the flooring. Anyway. all the spots and soiled areas had disappeared. After my husband got up, I did the same in our 23-ft long bedroom. The carpet was clean, but it was wavy in several areas. The waviness has died down somewhat but is still visible. In any case, this is way too hard for me, having a wet carpet for such a long time and working so hard afterwards, positioning fans all night and vacuuming. If I would have known that the carpets stay wet for so long, I would have hired somebody with a truck powered equipment which has super strong suction equipment to remove all the water. The last time I did it, the carpets were barely damp after 5 hours and totally dry the next morning. The Berber carpet in the breakfast room turned out excellent, was bright and dry in a very short time, Also the upholstered dining room chairs came out nice. I think, Steamer's chemical solution works fine for empty houses or apartments, or places that only have Berber carpets. But I would not go through this ordeal again.

After reading multiple positive reviews, I called Steamers to get our carpet's cleaned and was able to get an appointment for the day I wanted on short notice. The technician, however, was 1.5 hours late (although he did call ahead saying that he was running behind with the previous job). He was pleasant and knowledgeable, however, after he was gone, we noticed that our hard wood stairs were scratched in two places with the steam cleaner (which is really big and heavy and probably hard for one person to move), as well as several baseboards had a long scratch. To update, Steamers did address my dissatisfaction right away and made arrangements to touch up the baseboards and polish the scratches on the stairs, which was all done within a week.

We currently have a sick dog at home and unfortunately, she soiled two of our area rugs. When I called and spoke with Brian, he indicated that they had a tight schedule, however he would do his very best to fit me in within a couple of days. I called Steamers from their internet ad and without much hope that they could revive some older, much misused chairs and a sofa to give away. I had to cancel my first appointment, which they accepted with understanding. When they did come, they said it would take 3-4 hours and would be very noisy. The job turned out to be bigger than they or I thought. To cover another job, Brian left his partner to do the job alone. Guy worked very hard every minute to remove years of dirt, dog hair and other mysterious substances. The water they removed was black with a bad odour. One chair had very delicate upholstery I was sure would not withstand cleaning. Others had stains that made me ashamed for anyone to see. In the end, every piece of furniture came out looking almost good as new. Now I don't want to give it up. These young men were professional, polite, uncomplaining and hard working. Their price for all that work was very reasonable. I would recommend them with no reservation. I wish I had more furniture for them to clean. They were such a pleasure to work with.

Brian warned me that some stains might come back although lighter after carpets dried. He said to call him and they would take care of it, and he was true to his word. "I was very impressed with the Steamers Team, especially with Kevin who I had dealt with from the start. I had booked another carpet cleaning company to clean our carpets but they gave us what we thought were legitimate reasons for not showing up at the scheduled times. This was a company that also called us every few months for the past year to get our business. We even moved our big furniture (couches, chairs, tables, etc.) out of the way to make it easier for them to clean. We wanted to give the company the benefit of the doubt until they bailed on us 2 days in a row. Brian and Gee came yesterday to clean 6 month old carpet that my dog had used as a pee pad while going through a urinary tract infection. Fortunately there were no stains from the accidents but with the recent humidity the odor had become noticeable. There were 4 spots that Brian pre-treated for over 30 minutes which he then sprayed with a heavy duty enzyme cleaner. Afterward they steam cleaned the entire living room floor which is 16’x25’. I thought for sure when I called that I would be charged for 2 rooms due to the size; however was only charged for 1, the pre-treatment and enzyme cleaner which were the cheapest prices I had been quoted by any company I had called. Brian and Gee were honest, professional and timely. They explained each step of the way and showed me what they were pulling up from my brand new carpet. I couldn’t believe the dirt, grime and yellow water from just over 6 months. The price I was quoted was what I paid and the job was done in under 2 hours. I was asked to give it 3-5 days for full results and was told to call should I have any concern with stains or odor. I will be calling Brian again in 6 months to complete my bedrooms and hallway as well. Thank you Brian and Gee!

Not only were they quick but they also did a phenomenal job. My ivory wool carpet looks like new. Terrific staff and very professional. We were worried about having someone come to clean the carpets in the house because of our hardwood floors underneath but there was no problem. Brian and Guy took care to protect my hardwood flooring and furniture, carefully explained the cleaning process that would be used and did an excellent job cleaning 3 rooms, a large area rug and stairs.
