Ii was referred by a Realtor friend and thought they did a great job. Freindly and proffesional. I could hear the crap flying out through the tube and my air quality deffinitely improved when it was done. The house smells cleaner.

Not impressed at all ! The technician showed up on time. Went straight to the furnace room and started drilling and cutting the ducts. Few minutes later he started apologizing that the hoses he is supposed to bring in are not clean and he does not have protective sheets and he hoped I would not mind bringing the muddy hoses inside. I called the main office and they asked him to figure out something to make sure he covers the dirty hoses. He left and came back after 30 mins with some polyurethane sheets. The rest of the job was quite messy , lots of dust was blown around the house. The technician did not open air return vents to clean properly, he only blew the covers off. We spent about 3 hours cleaning after the job was completed. I regret hiring power vac, I was expecting a professional service for the price. Waste of time and money.

Are home is a bit older and had undergone numerous renovations over the years, lots of dust from the work completed. Ducts were clean when I inspected it upon completion. He didn't put any bags on the vents to prevent blowback out in the house. But I later found out that that is sometimes not necessary if watched. Ducts looked clean though of what I did see. Company also did a follow up call and came to the house to inspect. I seen in all ducts and everything is very clean. Very pleased.

He also showed us the ‘before and after’ and we were floored, we live in an old farmhouse with 2 dogs and a cat and our vents have never been cleaned. Required another technician (Scott) to come over to correct some of the work of the original technician. Although we are still experiencing air quality issues, if we decide to use Power Vac again, we will ask for Scott.

He went through the house with me to ensure we identified all the vents and he then went about his work. Being a very involved home owner that takes an active interest and curiosity in the bones of their house it would have been cool it there was an option to see video of what is being sucked out of your own ducts like in advertising videos. Definately not a knock on Power Vac...just would be a cool option for homeowner. I would probably pay a little extra to watch that whip thing go through my ducts...can only imagine what the kids have drop in those vents and cold air returns over the years.

WOW! We are SO pleased with PowerVac. We originally had an appt booked last year and no one was able to clean our ducts because our furnace is an old gravity furnace. This year, we had an appt with Enercare that was a 4 hour window and they decided not to show up. I scrambled to get someone in as we had lost a day of pay with the Enercare nonsense. I called Powervac just based on googling them. Explained about our crappy old furnace and they sent out a senior technician who was friendly, capable and did a wonderful job!! Thank you :)

I left him a message on the following Tuesday (answering machine) and again on Thursday (spoke with someone who took my message and info) and never heard from him again. I went with another company and they did an awesome job!

I was interested in getting my ducts cleaned and by chance I received a call from a telemarketer. I asked him questions regarding the scope of the work and it all seemed good. When the guys came , they brought a vacuum on a hand cart. When I asked for confirmation of the scope of work from the two that showed up , it was totally different. I sent them away I then called PowerVac and totally different experience! Big powerful vacuum truck with about a 3 or 4foot diameter blower. All my questions were answered and the job was done professionally . I am happy with their service and would recommend

I called on a Thursday and was able to set up an appointment for that weekend (yes on a weekend). Friday they called confirmed the time for Saturday and showed up on time. The operator was extremely polite explained what was going to happen and dealt with my 4 dogs setting up his equipment and be careful around my carpet and furniture. It was absolutely refreshing to see the level of professionalism. The work was done well, quickly and explained to me. I would definitely use this company for work. If you haven’t used this company before you should give them a try it’s worth it.

I was a little concerned when I originally contacted Power Vac London to request a quote. I was asked to contact them as they had questions. Okay, but their questions were all answered in my original email. Hum. The service was excellent. Scott arrived before I did at the home. He waited patiently, was polite. Upon opening the door, he got straight to work: put thought into the best access to the furnace, attended to all vents, explained what materials had been found in the vents, treated me with respect. I found that even that night I was receiving more heat on the second level. My advice to you is this: Yes use this company and clear access to vents prior to them arriving -- possibly even remove the basement door (helps a long job go quicker).

I was very impressed with the quality of communication and service from Power Vac this week. The guys who arrived to do the job were competent and super polite, explaining clearly everything I asked about.
