Update on below 1 year later. Tip, wait to see how the cleaners do over time. We switched after a couple months. If you're interested in ongoing service don't give a review immediately. After 1 year, we have had 2 different cleaners. We have Trish now and she is amazing. When Trish came she found places prior cleaners had never touched. She is thorough every single time. She is never late, and always professional. Our place isn't huge (2 bdrm / 2 bath apartment) but Trish will take the full time and ensure everything is clean. Both my husband and I are a little crazy about cleanliness and work full time so we cannot keep up with how we want our home to be. It is SO refreshing to have someone who enjoys what they do and actually wants to do their job. Trish is a real asset for this company. Since we don't go out weekly for date night and both hate cleaning, we decided to hire a cleaner. We chose Daytime Domestic Services mainly because they were the first (& only) to call us back. Sandy did a great job. She worked the full hours and got rid of the rust water streaks in our toilet, our bath tub gleamed, including around the caulking, she cleaned under / over / and around. We were very happy with the work done. Cleaning, like anything, requires time if it is going to be done well and Sandy definitely hit this mark. Since I moved to London 3 years ago, my cousin and I have used a couple of different cleaning companies. Daytime Domestics is without a doubt the best service we have ever had. Mary Love in particular is a superstar when it comes to her personality and her outstanding cleanliness. She whizzes around like a church mouse and most importantly she gets the job done to an astronomically high standard. JoAnne, the owner, has created a friendly and family orientated business that can accomodate most peoples needs. I am eternally grateful for all the effort of Mary and JoAnne. I contacted daytime domestics for a move out clean.. they recommended 3 hours so I agreed. I was told that the cleaner would be around to review the clean and after 3 hours was up.. not only did the cleaner arrive 15 minutes late, my husband showed up at 12:05 and the cleaner was gone. We went to the house to review it and get our remaining belongings- the basement wasn’t cleaned at all, completely neglected and I had to vacuum the stairs and the upstairs. Truly disappointed in this as I wanted a care free move out. Other than that, the house did look great and the woman who set up the appointment was great to work with.

We had this cleaning company come clean our home every two weeks for almost a year. Wonderful girls Janet and Shandra from Daytime Domestic Services. The staff got up on our double vanity counter top in our master ensuite and cracked the granite. It was an accident and the cleaning lady Shandra was very sorry and upset and offered to pay for the repairs. I told her no, the owners have insurance, that's what it's for and they will cover the repair. A stool was available in the coat closet but it was not used. The staff were unhurt. So .. This company has refused to pay for my bathroom to be fixed. They have every excuse under the sun. They won't put it through their insurance and are saying it's not their fault. I absolutely LOVE my bathroom and cherished the counter top. Can't get another piece like it ever again. It is their fault, they are responsible. The excuses given by Daytime Domestic Services include granite doesn't crack, it wasn't installed properly, it wasn't up to code, the granite was defective, the developer/home builder is responsible ... THEY damaged our property but yet they want the HOME BUILDER from over a decade ago to replace our granite. I live in a nice new home which was built by a reputable builder. DDS wanted to call the builder to get him to pay for our countertop that was installed 12 years ago. They did an illegal title search on our home to find out whose name it was under. Completely and totally illegal. They can somehow invade my privacy. Very creepy and scary stuff. The owners husband left nasty messages, yelled and screamed at us, and even threatened to sue us if I posted a negative review !! DO NOT let them clean your homes. They know I'm disabled, they know I need help, they told us to go pick out a new piece of granite but then they refused to process the job through insurance. This happened last spring, it was not until this January that the bathroom was finally repaired. So for the repair. 1) We needed to pick out new granite, and have those guys come and measure it, and then come back and install it (2 Trips into our home) ... we actually had 3 trips into our because they accidentally brought the wrong colour sinks. 2) we needed plumbers TWICE before and after the job to disconnect and reconnect the sinks. 3) We needed an electrician TWICE to unhook to sconces which came through our bathroom mirror 4) a contractor to remove and then again reattach the mirror before and after the job. (The mirror had to come off to replace the granite, it was sitting on top of the counter. I've had them threaten me to take me to court. I'm fine with that, I can't be sued when I'm telling the truth. I've had the owner harass me and threaten me and still to this day they continue to send me emails all the time for new promotions and services. Call someone else to clean your home because if they break something you're screwed !!!! #daytimedomesticservices

Dana & Leah came to clean my place that has been neglected for awhile due to health and work issues. Joanne was very kind and considerate working around my schedule. They did a 4 hour "deep cleaning" which took care of everything I'd asked for. They managed to get stains off of my fridge that I didn't even think could come off! My bathtub was sparkling. They went above and beyond by completing extra tasks that I really didn't think they'd get to in the allotted time. I'll definitely be using Daytime Domestic's services again in future!

I called to ask if they could do a TINY job for me. Due to a previous job injury that has left me with virtually no grip strength in either of my hands or arms, I wanted my three tubs cleaned before moving out of my rental home. I don't need to do this but I wanted to leave the house as sparkly as possible despite finding it a mess upon moving in. I told her we were flexible with the date and gave her a couple to choose from and told her I literally only needed the three tubs cleaned. That was it. The person I spoke to hummed and hawed and hesitated to say yes and sounded somewhat perplexed even. She then said no because the end of the month was a busy time for her. I respect that that is entirely her right but I was still completely surprised because I gave her nearly two weeks notice and the job I need done will take less than one hour. My partner would do it for me but he works a lot and I just want to know that it will be done. She said if I'm in a ''bind'' I can call her back. Well, life is hard enough and dealing with disabled hands/arms is being in a bind and it's why I called her when I did instead of waiting until the very last minute. I realize it is a small job and she won't make a lot from it but perhaps this would have garnered repeat business and bigger jobs in the future from my family or others that I recommended her to. In my opinion, every call should count and every offer of business should be handled with cheer and respect, not hesitation and awkwardness. As someone that owns a small business, I have went above and beyond for my customers, actually losing money on a few orders over the years in order to make a customer happy. It may not be recommended business practice from a revenue perspective but when customers post a good review about me and my business and keep coming back, then it is all worth it over the long haul. Most of my business is from repeat customers and I know why that is. There is something to be said for reaching out to customers as human beings and not treating them like their business isn't worth enough. I do not recommend dealing with this company.

I contacted Daytime Domestics to use a gift card I had received from girlfriends. JoAnne was quick to get back to me and sent over Tammy and Vanessa to give my house a spring cleaning. They worked efficiently and effectively and my house has not been this clean in a long time. I was home with a sick toddler at the time too, but the girls were very accommodating. They worked around us, conscious of not making too much noise during nap time and all. Thanks girls!

They where hands down the worst cleaning company my wife and I have ever used. When I arrived home from work I honestly thought that the cleaners had not shown up yet. They did not sweep or mop the floors. They did not vacuum the bedrooms or area rugs in the front hall or family room. They didn't even clean our shower. All they did was probably spend no more then 20 minutes giving our sinks and toilets a quick wipe. When I called to complain, they did nothing. They did not offer us our money back or offer to send someone back the next day to finish what we paid them to do. They took our money without completing 80% of their job. With all the other cleaning companies out there, I would highly recommend not using this company and using a company that will actually do more then quickly wipe down your sinks and toilets and nothing else.

I help care give for my mother and was falling behind the house cleaning. I called Daytime Domestic Services and booked Janet and Shaundra to do a scrub down of the bathrooms, windows, dusting, vacuum and kitchen cabinets. They were so friendly and professional! The house looked like a show home when they were done. I knew it needed cleaning but I didnt realize just how bad it was until they had finished. Let me start by saying THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I decided to hire them because of the reviews and did I PAY for it!! I was forced to pay $734 for a job that was poorly and unsatisfactory done….Furthermore, this company is unethical and disrespectful. My poor mother with her little English that she speaks was trying to tell them that she was not happy….however they ignored her and disrespected her as well and made her feel uncomfortable. My 7 year old could have done a better job than the so called “professionals” from DAYTIME DOMESTIC SERVICES LTD!!! I attached some pictures in my review for people to see and make sure they don’t get ripped off like we did!! when I contacted DAYTIME DOMESTIC SERVICES LTD in regards to the matter, they denied everything and continued to pressure and threatened us. We were told pretty much if we did not pay they would report us to the collection agency. Is that how you treat your customers DAYTIME DOMESTIC SERVICES LTD??? Shame on you!! People watch out from this scammers!!

Owner and "legal department" very rude and unprofessional. Cleaners do a great job but managment makes the whole company look bad. The person who recomended this company to me is a current employee and i have since found out a few things. The company is basically a call center. When u call them for services it is farmed out to a low paid team of girls whom supply and pay for their own cleaning supplies and transportation. And at 15 dollars an hour you can bet they are not buying quality stuff. Their business address in london is just a box at the UPS store and these cleaners are hired over the phone or text (most have not even met the owners) who dont even live in the city so im guessing there is not much in the way of training or standard of work. And yes bob i did use your service but as we all know anyone who has an issue with you is not a real client we just google random small businesses to post bad reviews because we have nothing better to do.

I rarely leave reviews but felt the need to this time. They were able to accommodate me on short notice, however, left an hour early and did not do areas that I specifically asked them to. The website listed this service as premium but the actual cleaning I received was not at this level. While I value efficiency, I was not pleased with a half done job for the price I paid for losing an hour of service. *EDIT* After reading my initial review, JoAnne reached out to me and offered to make arrangements to rectify the situation.

I was very impressed with how detailed Alison is and how clean my home was - over and above my expectations! We have since booked Alison bi-weekly and I simply leave a list of items that are a priority for us and they are all completed to my satisfaction (different items each visit). It has helped our busy family maintain the clutter that builds up between visits, and I look forward to Alison coming. Highly recommend her as she has great cleaning skills and is also friendly and personable.

We have had to start with new cleaning company and had our introductory clean with a wonderful lady, Betty. She was a joy to speak with as I walked around to show her the home and introduce her to the pets in the house LOL. As she was working away, the supervisor, Jackson (our gray Tabby) kept checking on the progress and we could hear Betty speaking to him and keeping him out of trouble. She is in and out in 3 hours, brings her own supplies and is a treasure of a person. JoAnne is quick to accomodate "panic situations" (unexpected company etc), and is very professional and courteous. My wife and I are new to using cleaning services. We shopped around and actually hired a different company first. That company (which has a cancellation fee) called me the night before and cancelled on us, which left us in a bit of a pickle. I contacted Daytime Domestic Services and spoke with JoAnne who was able to accomodate my shortened schedule. She sent Joy over to our place a few days later. Joy came by right on time. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. I could tell she was very experienced. She went straight to work and managed to somehow clean my entire 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom living space in 3 hours. After my wife came home from work, my wife went through all areas of the house and said Joy did an amazing job. Incredibly thorough. I can't believe we found out about this company by accident. I encourage anyone shopping around to contact them with any questions you have. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the near future. Thank you!

I am extremely happy with Daytime Domestics! I hate to admit it, but I am extremely picky when it comes to cleaning my home. Each time, Leah and Dana clean consistently with the attention to detail that you do when it is your own home. I trust them completely in our house and know that each time they come I will have the satisfaction that I'm looking for in a cleaning service. Price is reasonable and Daytime has made it easy to pay online. If I need to do any scheduling rearranging DD is easy to get ahold of, accommodating and stress free. I have used Daytime Domestics for about 4 years. I have found them to be reliable! I have bee especially pleased with the great work Diane does for us. She is punctual and accommodating, if you ask her to start some place where she does not usually start at, she will work around your requests. My son recently moved into a townhouse complex primarily set up for students in the London area. Despite a claim by the property manager that inspections were required upon move-out, the place was not inspected prior to my son's move-in, and was easily categorized as unsanitary and in a questionable state of cleanliness, amongst other things. We had to fire this company after 4-5 visits. Repeated complaints were met with excuses instead of apologies and false promises about the issues being fixed. They even convinced us that it was because there had been no initial "spring cleaning" so they sent 2 cleaners the last time. Same problems. We are not picky or obsessive. If you want things left out that should've been put back (like rugs or vacuums), things in main areas not cleaned (cobwebs on objects 4' off the ground after 3 visits), lights left on, bathroom fans left on, windows left open (when you have the A/C on), and things not put back where they were found, feel free to waste your money. We spent way too much time calling to try to address the issues and cleaning up behind someone we paid. Epic fail. I don't know how they stay in business.

worst rip off scammers ever. only there working for 1.5 hours and I was charged for 3 hours. never again. $120 plus for 1.5 hrs of work by two people. that's $60/hr. that's way too much to pay for half assed cleaners that left garbage and dirt in my apt. they actually left a pile of garbage in the corner of my living room that should have been thrown out and things were still left in the cupboards so they obviously didn't clean the cupboards like I told them to. it was an apt I was just moving into and I wanted everything cleaned and scrubbed.

We were very disappointed with the "move out" clean daytime domestics provided. Our home was only two levels, and was empty when the cleaners came. The basement was very noticeably not vacuumed and the stairs had spills on them that could have been easily mopped up. We were in the middle of moving and getting settled in our new home. We were very disappointed after driving 45 minutes back to our old house to lock up and check on the clean to find that it still needed to be cleaned. WE had to drive back the next morning to finish cleaning ourselves because we had to turn the keys over that day. When we called Daytime Domestics to complain we were told by Joanne that she would ask the cleaners but didn't think it was likely. And the full cleaning price was once again quoted to us. Before we paid the bill we called again to ask if the bill could be adjusted and it was only adjusted nominally. It cost us more time and money to have Daytime Domestics clean our house than it would have if we cleaned it ourselves.

Daytime Domestic is the most unprofessional cleaning company in London. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS!! I booked this company for a spring clean. The rate was increased significantly because it was a spring clean and, because of this, I expected a higher level of service given the increase in the hourly rate. The cleaners were pleasant but very rushed. They overlooked many areas such as wiping windowsills, baseboards, inside of appliances, vacuuming stairs, etc. This was not what I was expecting from a spring clean. To me, a spring clean is a "deep clean" and you should focus on the areas that tend to be overlooked. I was not satisfied with the clean at all. The biggest issue I have is with the owners - Joanne and Bob Dilts. To put it nicely, Bob Dilts is a lunatic. He contacted me after I had asked to pay the regular rate since I didn't receive the "deep clean" I expected. He was very threatening and demeaning. He pretends he has "extensive legal experience" but he is really a washed up real estate agent with way too much time on his hands. His tactics include name calling, bullying, threats and harassment. Bob Dilts is the cancer of Daytime Domestic. The company could improve, however, he sees no fault with his cleaning staff or his company. His arrogance is immeasurable. Do yourself a favour Joanne, get rid of the dead weight because Bob Dilts will run your company into the ground with his unprofessional and unethical misconduct.

We hired daytime domestic to clean our home in preparation for moving out, and it was a nightmare. Firstly, they texted me at 2 am saying I had not paid, even though I had already e-transfered them, and they made me cancel and re-send. Then on the day of the cleaning, the ladies showed up 2 hours late without notification until we called them. We had booked for 4 hours and when the 3 ladies arrived they informed us that they were only spending an hour and twenty minutes because it was per person. This was fine, although we were never told thats how it works. The whole cleaning experience made us very uncomfortable and at the end of the 1 hour and 20 minute mark they were not even half way done. We did not consent for the ladies to stay any longer but they chose to keep cleaning for twenty additional minutes until their boss called us and told us that by us not kicking them out we had consented to them staying and they were going to charge us an additional 2 hours. Not only was this a shock to us because there was no consent given, the condescending attitude on the phone from the owner, Bob was atrocious. He then hung up on us and invoiced us, called me back and told me he was going to ruin my credit. When we called him back, we endured the most horrific phone call with Bob. He yelled at us, threatened us, called us names, and treated us with shocking disrespect. I highly recommend you never use this cleaning service. The cleaning itself was horrible and the owners are even worse. I see from previous reviews, Bob answers saying he doesn’t have anyone with that name in their system, but that is a huge lie. We just had our cleaning done yesterday. Please save yourself from being taken advantage of, and go with some other company.

They were not pushy with bookings, but instead were very receptive to feedback, and interested in finding out what worked for us. They even recommended Jen because she was comfortable and good with large dogs, after finding out about our fur son. We have booked Jen again for a longer period of time and can’t wait to see what she does. It is such a relief have someone we can trust to clean our home. This is a company that is interested in doing a fantastic job cleaning your home, and providing exceptional customer service, not just how much money they can get from you.

I hired Daytime Domestic for a move out clean. Unfortunately I left things to the last minute and Daytime was the only company who had availability. Perhaps this was for a reason. The team of cleaners seemed friendly enough when they first arrived, however, when I inspected the cleaning I was immediately disappointed. They were using wet paper towels to wipe everything down! This left huge streaks across my glass table top, appliances and windows. It also isn't a proper way to disinfect and clean a home. The vacuuming they had done was patchy at best and there were obvious spots that were missed completely. My stairs were also completely ignored. I also heard they used ENJO products but none of the ENJO products were with the ladies when they arrived and they definitely were not used in my home. When I received my invoice, an additional hour was added to the total. When I brought my concerns to the attention of the owner, I was immediately met with hostility. Both Joanne and her husband Bob Dilts were extremely rude and confrontational. To date, they have not tried to resolve my issues in an amicable manner. My experience with Daytime Domestics was very disappointing. I would not hire Daytime Domestics in the future.

We were very disappointed with the "move in" clean daytime domestics provided. Paid for 5.5 hours for a team of two just to find out my wife will need to do most of the work again herself. We communicated the full scope with the manager (Joanne) while booking and a 4 hour window was advised to complete all. On site the team requested additional 1.5 hours to complete key items and we agreed. The quick walkthrough seems OK but only when we moved in a few days later we saw the cleaning was done without attention and items that were reported as done were actually not done at all. We shared this feedback with the manager Joanne , her solution was for us to order them again any pay again for additional service, no compensation was offered. Obviously we did not agreed as we see no point paying again for the same low level performance . Will not use or recommend their service.

I have to admit, reading the previous reviews (especially the more critical ones) made me a little apprehensive about Daytime Domestic Services. I was amazed by what Tanya and Crystal were able to do in 1.5 hours. The previous occupant left the place a tad messy, but Tanya and Crystal made quick work of the mess. The washroom was sparkling and the room spotless by the time they were finished cleaning. Nancy was quick to respond to my inquiries, and my interactions with Nancy, Tanya and Crystal were quite pleasant. I would definitely recommend DDS if you need a deep clean of your home!

My requirements were very specific and included a request for assistance to help take garbage out on collection day. Used Daytime Domestics for the first time, needed a total and thorough clean in preparation for an open house and viewings. Rang on a Saturday, and needed it done by Wednesday. They got back to me personally (meaning, they rang my cell and spoke to me in person and not just messages) on a Sunday with confirmation of the booking. Then the guy was fabulous - Anthony was his name. Arrived early, rang just as he was going to get here, confirmed everything I wanted done with me, started straight away, and then rang me about 20 mins before he was to finish so I knew when to come back and do a walk through. And it was a great clean. All floors, walls, cupboards, bathrooms and inside the fridge, freezers etc - and the oven was a special treat - walls and trays were as new. Entire experience was great. quick summary: inappropriate emails from "professional" business, seven. Requested specific items be cleaned, hard working conditions admittedly (construction was underway) but the attempt wasn't even made to do these missed items. Excuses and negative response from owner to my concerns. Edited for clarification after receiving vaguely threatening email after placing a negative, but perfectly polite and factual review in a public forum, for a business who willingly opened themselves up for honest reviews. My house was under construction, my contractor's assistant was incredibly rude and turned the ladies away the first time they arrived (unknown to me as I entrusted them to handle welcoming vendors to the site). I called when I was informed of this, apologized profusely, they kindly rescheduled. The work done was nice, the work not done was frustrating (eg if an empty fridge is on the list and not cleaned, that has nothing to do with construction), the follow up attempt at explaining my disappointment was responded to quickly but coolly and left at me paying and not using them again. My blood pressure at reading a wholly inappropriate follow up email today, quite high. I firmly believe in both negative and positive reviews so customers see the good, the bad, and the truthful when selecting a company. I personally would not have been rated a 5 star client due to the state of the site, my contractor was far from 5 star, and to be fair, I will up this to 2 from 1. Joanne in the office being the reason why I will increase, the email i got the reason why I won't go higher, and the reason why anytime anyone talks about a cleaner, I will have this email saved in my mailbox. UPDATE dropped back to 1 star after harassing email number 7 (SEVEN!!) and no, Bob, facts aren't libel, a general review isn't illegal, and you can't sue everyone who was honest about not liking your service, although you threaten it a lot it seems.

The office staff were very responsive and helpful in setting up the appointment, and were able to meet my preference for day and time. I was so pleased with how fast and thorough these ladies were despite being rushed for time as it was a last minute booking!
