That other company shut down and now I was able to track the person who sold me the heating system and he now claims that he has never worked there and that he is a doctor. It find it funny that I have a pamphlet from the purchase with his phone number on it and he claims that he never worked there. The phone number is an 888 number. I did not know that doctors used 888 in their phone number. Do not purchase from them. Purchase directly from the manufacturer or a company that has been in business for a while. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I made an appointment with Francois Blais in June to install an AC and sent all information needed, he did not show up for the first appointment. The second appointment we made it clear what was needed, a scissor lift or ladder to reach my condo. It's still not finished because when the installers came (who were very professional and friendly) they were not equipped to do the job, due to a lack of communication within the company. They did not have the siding and told me they would come back with a scissor lift. Almost two months later I inquired about this delay, and he informed me that the company would not do the work they told me they would and requested that I get permission from my downstairs neighbour so they could do it on his property. This was not originally agreed upon. Also, the compressor they installed leaks and when informed Mr. Blais told me to contact the office, and yet they avoid my emails. I would say it's VERY IMPORTANT to keep copies of the communication with this company because you might need to take legal action to get them to finish the work, and unfortunately that's what this is looking like. I really wish they just did what we agreed upon, but as every day that goes by I really doubt it. Don't use this company, and if you do, request another Representative and do it via email so you can protect yourself. Very unfortunate. However, I will be more than happy to change this review when the work is finished.
