"Cleaning" is a liberal term. They have been servicing my unit for months (930 square feet) and as I'm getting ready to move out I am finding areas that haven't been cleaned in months. Upon complaining I was lectured and told that cleaners were not responsible for "cluttered" areas. It is not unreasonable to move small items from a shelf in order to dust. 0/10, would not recommend, ever

Atrocious. Molly Maid Ottawa is terrible. If zero stars were possible, I would have given zero. Each time they came over they insisted that I clean my house so that they could clean my house. They would leave notes on my table just about every visit with something new to clean for the next time they come. Their cleaning job wasn't even that great; dust in many places that they "cleaned". They would barely wipe down the kitchen; sink and top of stove were still dirty. Not impressed. When I called to see what was going on, I was essentially told it was their way or the highway. Highway it is! I have since hired Euroshine and they are AMAZING!!!! Twice the work (and excellent work) for roughly the same price!

We booked Molly Maid for a move-in (one time) cleaning. The two ladies were unprofessional and they showed up 10 minutes late. When the cleaning started it was 15 minutes after the booked time. When I showed up home 5 minutes after the cleaning time, they were already in their car! They know how to make you feel that they have done some cleaning! The main floor was mopped, and they used our vacuum cleaner to vacuum the bedrooms, that's it! Nothing else! The washrooms were in a very bad state, we had to clean up after the maids (their hair was all over the washrooms). They left the dust in our vacuum cleaner and even left their trash in our garbage can! There was even a dead fly under the patio door that was not cleaned! Such a horrible service, and would never recommend them to anyone!

Overall experience was okay, but found common areas like bathtub and toilet not always cleaned well. Last couple weeks got no notice and today our cleaner was quite rude and said I had replied to her multiple times when I had not. She had the incorrect number, but instead of checking on that first - she immediately jumped to saying I was lying. Left very bad taste in my mouth. Not continuing for now.

I have been very satisfied with our every-other-week service from Molly Maid. They have been trustworthy, reliable and flexible when needed. Only one small criticism: they do what they say they will do, but they won't go above and beyond (e.g. wash dishes in the sink or make up unmade bed) unlike other private cleaners I have booked before. However, unlike those private cleaners, I appreciate that MM is insured and has a business reputation to uphold. The cleaners have only ever been pleasant and polite. And they're pretty good at letting me know when to expect them. Very professional service. No hesitation in recommending.

I asked this company to clean before moving into the new house. Three workers came and said we needed two hours, I was busy, and I could only return after 3 hours, and when I came I found the house as it is. Only fridge and oven have been cleaned. Dust remains in the cupboard drawers in the bathroom. The cupboard at the main door did not even open. Nothing has changed in the cleanliness of the house, the floors are the same. hair is here and there So I doubt that they vaccumedthe carpet. It was like I threw my mony in the air . if there is less than one star to rate thim I will chose it

I live in Orleans, but recently we had a big move out and the house needed some serious work due to the movers. I had booked with molly maid for a 3 hour session. The cleaning job the ladies did was pretty decent. They cleaned all the main floors, cleaned my fridge and my oven etc. Overall the experience had been pretty decent, they ended up deciding to finish after about two hours. However, once I came down to tell them thank you they gave me my receipt - 266$ for a two hour session. I know that it was approx 100$ per hour which already I was fairly surprised however what with tax and everything the only thing I can think as to how it amounted to that was that they decided to include their own tips into the price. I’m not an unreasonable person and I would have tipped them myself however, for the fact that I had booked a certain time and that they only did the standard I felt a little cheated that I don’t get to choose how much tip I provide or even at least just be part of the process rather than just handed a receipt and a swift goodbye. It was a little disappointing. I can’t imagine how much it would have costed me had they stayed the full three hours. That being said, the areas that they did decide to clean they cleaned fairly well which is why I’m giving 3 stars.

TERRIBLE! Seriously terrible on every possible level. We booked this company to do a very basic cleaning to a newly built basement in-law suite. We wanted it to be sparkling and ready for move in. The direction was to dust all surfaces, dust the bathroom, vacuum, wipe inside and outside of brand new kitchen cabinets, wipe down appliances, mop floors and clean inside only of 2 windows. The unit was completely empty making it an easy job. Nothing had to be scrubbed, just a good dusting etc. 3 people showed up and were on site barely 90 minutes. The cabinets were not touched, appliances still had a layer of dust on them, windows not cleaned. Super disappointed! I called and spoke to the owner Marissa. She offered to send someone back to finish but at that point we had already had someone else finish it. She told me that for the "inconvenience" she would only bill me for one hour instead of the 90 minutes ($120 total for one hour). The charge on my visa is for $180. Left message for Marissa to contact me to correct the charge on my card and she has not yet returned my call. Terrible Service!

I just moved out and have started using Molly Maid on a bi-weekly basis and absolutely LOVE it. The girls are so friendly when they arrive each and every time and are really attentive to my requests (such as giving extra TLC to my baseboards that get really dusty). Couldn't be happier with the service

My wife suggested we call them for a move out cleaning and it was good experience overall. Pros - they had proper Covid measures in place and were very nice/professional. Cons - they were running a little late from a previous house but called to let us know.

Moving clean quote between 2-300 for an empty 3 bedroom home. When they were cleaning head office told the young ladies to charge $695. They were concerned if we didnt pay that they would not be paid. Absolutely disgraceful. Treat employees so poorly, absolutely gouging. Make sure you get an estimate on writing. Do not recommend.
