I was nervous to book a house cleaning in the beginning for safety reasons, but I was very surprised at their safety policy for COVID. The cleaners wore face masks, maintained physical distancing, and properly sanitized everything. They also cleaned our basement kitchen cabinets as a complimentary service, as a I did not order that on my online booking! I received a move in cleaning for an empty apartment recently. The booking process and the communication was very efficient and easy. The cleaners arrived and did a great job. I had missed to spray the oven the previous night to prepare it for cleaning, but still the cleaners were able to take alternative measures to do their best to clean it anyways. They overall did a great job doing a thorough cleaning. Only thing, that didn't seem in place was the fact that only two cleaners arrived, when the booking said it will be 3. However, when I raised it with the cleaning company they deducted some amount from he original total for this. So all in all it was positive experience.

We had a standard clean done - one girl who arrived on time and worked quietly around all the kids and us. She was very polite and did a pretty good job cleaning. If there were a 4.5 star, I would do that only because there were little things that were missed like dusting window sills, the ledge along the stairs, and a few other little things but that stuff she did clean is really nice - the whole house smelled great after she was finished. We'll definitely book for a monthly service.

I used Hellamaid to do a deep clean and sanitization of my music school before we reopened after the first shutdown. I was amazed at the level of clean they did. Each of the 8 studios, kitchen, bathroom and reception area were spotless! (and I am obsessively clean!) They emptied all the garbages and recycling as well. Since then, I've had to make changes to dates or times or even change the location of a key and they ALWAYS respond super quick with a friendly email and resolve whatever it may be. Their customer service is just as good as their cleaning! I would 100% recommend Hellamaid to anyone looking for an office clean. You won't be disappointed.

I hired Hellamaid to do a deep clean before Christmas and was very pleased with the results. They showed up on time, brought their own cleaning supplies, and thoroughly cleaned the house. The women were friendly and professional, working hard while I was there and then locking up for me after I left and they finished up. It was expensive, but really nice to be able to be able to hire them before entertaining family over the holidays. The only thing I would change is I wish I could hire them for a set number of hours. I used to have a cleaning service that did that and I appreciated being able to sign up for 2.5-3.5 hours depending on how much I wanted clean. They would stay for exactly the time I was paying them for and I liked that.

They were right on time for the early morning appointment and got organized and to work right away. They were friendly but we stayed out of their way and as they tackled my new house empty of furniture. The bathrooms and tubs look new and everything from the ceiling lights to the floors sparkled in the rest of the house. the carpet clean was very well done, the additional charge was a bit much but at the end the guys are already there and it was done very well; I also ordered the 3 hrs of cleaning; which they did a good job, however, I was hoping for a bit better cleaning of one of the washrooms (my handyman went there the next day and finished the 2 missed items which I was hoping they would do it) ; but all in all very friendly and nice;

Used service for a move-in clean, and paid extra for windows and appliances. Appliances were cleaned acceptably, but windows were not cleaned thoroughly and overall the job was not done well. Two staff were present for 1.5 hours and in my experience a thorough move-in clean takes at least 3 hours. The stairs were not even vacuumed! Provided this feedback to the company and received no response. Would not use this service or recommend to anyone.

I had selected move in package which comes with deep cleaning of the house, upholstery cleaning and cabinet cleaning package and felt that two cleaners were not enough with the time limit they had to complete the cleaning. The kitchen and closets took time due to which cleaning of the remaining house was not paid much attention and was completed in a rush. The rugs were left uncleaned in the garage and the main door was not clean with spider webs still on them. Overall, it was okay service but not satisfactory according to the price paid for the service.

I originally had concerns with the quote. Having been in a similar business, I thought the quote under-represented the scope of the job, as in the price was too low. 2 people were assigned to start at 8am. Upon assessing the job, they immediately asked head office for help, as I needed the job completed on that day. They were scheduled to complete it by noon. IMO, the job required 3 people for 8 hours. The final invoice was in line with what I had originally expected. I'm giving top marks because of the ladies who stayed very late to complete the bulk of the job as requested, then finished up the following day. Their work was top notch.

We hired Hellamaid for a post-renovation clean in July 2021. Cleaners were polite and friendly but the clean itself was awful. The floors still felt gritty under our feet, the ceilings were full of cobwebs, there was debris pushed up in the corners, hair on the bathroom floor, plaster dust on all of the door and window frames. We even paid extra to have our kitchen cupboards and drawers cleaned (it was a kitchen renovation) and they missed a few of those too. We did contact the company to let them know that we were unhappy and all they did was offer us 25% off our next clean. We paid $375 for our renovation clean and had to redo most of it ourselves. I do not recommend.

We booked a move-in deep clean package with Hellamaid and had Katrina, Keisha, and Mellicia assigned to our home. The girls were fantastic! On top of having just moved in, we also did some renovations so the house was VERY dusty and needed a really good deep clean. The ladies worked quickly and efficiently, and really did an excellent job making the house finally feel like a home and a clean and relaxing space for us. We were home the entire time they were here and they were so pleasant and lovely to have around. They were fast and organized and I could really tell they cared about doing an excellent job and showing attention to detail. The process for booking was easy and I even needed to reschedule a couple of times when our renos took longer than expected, but that was no problem and very easy to do online. We recommended the company to our neighbour who is also doing some renovations, and we will definitely use them again in the future. Thanks Hellamaid!

We have had prior cleaning services in our home before and have grown disappointed in one way or another. I have been only impressed with how hard these cleaners work. We started with deep clean and have had 3 biweekly cleans now. They send 2 cleaners for our 3bd 2bath, 2800 sq foot house, they get right to work. Cleaners are always pleasant, on time and professional. They are more then open to clean with whatever products/techniques we prefer. Our home is no easy job as we have 3 kids, 2 dogs and lots of tracking in of filth. Nonetheless, in about 3 hours the cleaners always leave the home smelling fresh and sparkling. Worth the investment in these cleaners!
