We had just moved to Calgary and wanted to gather a few quotes and find a local company to support. We have young children and both work full time so our house often looks like a disaster zone. Zen Cleaning showed up on time as a team of two with all of their own cleaning supplies (less for us to worry about!) and they left our home clean and sparkling. Amanda is incredibly responsive and her staff are incredibly professional. We have now committed to getting our home cleaned monthly with them, we definitely recommend their services!

Amanda was EXTREMELY helpful, kind and responsive. She replied to my cleaning request within hours of sending it and had excellent availability for her cleaning teams. I was able to have someone in to clean up my badly neglected home within a few days. I had never hired a cleaning service before and felt a little guilty. Amanda called me right away to follow up and was understanding when I asked her some etiquette questions about tipping, pets etc. She did not seem impatient or frustrated with my ignorance in the slightest. For an exceptionally reasonable price we had two cleaners over to our home for a deep clean. They did an AMAZING job! The cleaners got to every nook and cranny, being very gentle with my belongings, working efficiently and kept their masks on throughout. The house smelled heavenly when I came home! The blinds were dusted, windows wiped and bathrooms spotless! I recently used Zen again for a shorter cleaning service and was treated like royalty again. For less than the cost of a dinner out, my stress levels PLUMMETED! I have no idea how they got so much done in such a short time! My husband and I are both struggling with medical issues right now and having clean floors and bathrooms is priceless. I will 100% be a repeat customer and recommending Zen to family and friends. Thanks very much a lot of nice touches and exactly what my Grandma's house needed. My Grandma remarked how friendly and nice the cleaners are. Thank you for the fast, friendly and extremely thorough excellent cleaning, the whole booking process was very easy. Always impressed with the service and I will not use another company. Also did a move out clean and was super impressed. Cleaners did an excellent job and were very polite. Two cleaners tackled the job together and when done the place looked brand new. Would recommend to people in Calgary for sure.

Zen cleaning service did a terrific job with the move out cleaning. They arrived on time and got my condo cleaner than I could have even hoped. It looked brand new by the time they were done, including the traditional hard to clean areas. Additionally, while they’re rate is competitive with peers, because the cleaning didn’t take as long as they initially guided they didn’t charge me the full amount. I had no way of verifying this and they could have charged the full amount they quoted but didn’t, a refreshing display of honesty and transparency. I would highly recommend Zen cleaning and will be using them again.

Amanda the owner texted me threatening me with a Lawsuit if i made a google review. so here is my honest opinion after working for her. She treats her staff extremely poorly. She demands that her employees do not to speak to HER clients while in the home cleaning, but will then text you asking to inquire about any matters that arise obtaining to the home so she dos not have to do it herself. She does not follow Alberta Labour law and she does not follow Covid protocols. She expects us to re uses sponges , toilet brushes ,dusters Etc. between homes to save her money so I found myself having to purchase these items at my own expense for the clients I cleaned for. I do not recommend this company.

If you work for Amanda, you are not to talk to HER clients while you clean for them, she is extremely possessive of HER cleaning kits, she does not follow covid protocols and supply proper PPE for her staff, and all the supplies (sponges, dusters, bristle brushes) are used between houses as she often complains how expensive it is to only have them as a 1 use time and to use them until they are no good. She treats her staff extremely poorly and doesn’t follow Alberta employment standard labour laws when it comes to pay.

I was completely impressed with the move out clean that Zen cleaning did for us in May 2021! Amanda was quick to respond and extremely accommodating! We requested a Sunday which is not a day that her teams are typically available and she made it happen! The day of was so smooth, which was such a relief while my family was moving- we received text reminders the day before and updates during, and her team was great about identifying our priorities and fulfilling a special request that we had. They were also very respectful of our space and our neighbours! To boot, the buyers of our home came through for a final walkthrough and they loved how clean it was too!!

She definitely complies with health protocol and provides us adequate supplies to perform our job well. If something comes up at job sites, she will always be around to give a hand.
