Had a basement flood during the Canada day thunderstorms. Just finished another water claim for a broken pipe. It was nice to work with the same people as I got to know them and they got a chance to know us. Right in the middle of the Tstorm claim but so far, they are acting in the same professional manner as the first claim.

We had a tree fall on our house on Halloween night last year. Gerry Hanley was there the next day to begin checking things out. Unfortunately, due to the weather and then the pandemic in the spring, repairs weren't completed for about 8 months. Gerry was very helpful and thorough in explaining everything to us and each of the contractors that did the various repairs did excellent jobs. I would highly recommend Paul Davis, especially if Gerry is the project manager.

My insurance company contacted this company on my behalf. They were to set up fans and dehumidifiers to remove moisture. They set up equipment that generates significant heat in a small space that contained cleaners and combustibles. I'm shocked they didn't start a fire, but thankful that wasn't the case. Following that episode they were to remove drywall and flooring that had been wet...the people they sent had NO IDEA what they were doing! They ripped things out with brute force, causing additional damages and need for repair. In addition to using brute force, they put up vapour barriers with Tuck tape - tuck tape and drywall or painted surfaces are not a good mix! So now my house needed painting too. This company is to be avoided, unless you want to have someone rip apart your home while you watch in disbelief!
