AC quit after one of the hottest days of the year on a Saturday and it was still hot out. Thoughts where l probably wouldn’t get anyone to service unit till next week. Called Home Aire Care talked to a very nice person took all my information asked lots of questions to help figure probably problem. She gave a time frame when technician would arrive. Technician arrived within time frame, diagnostic was done problem solved with in half hour. Technician was polite, knowledgeable and answered all my questions . Thanks for being here late in the day on a Saturday.
I have just moved into a home in the Belleville area and wanted to get my AC checked as it did not seem to be cooling great. Had some old bills from previous owner and call this company. Set up an appointment for a few day in advance. They called back with in an hour and said they could come within an hour. The young man who came to the door introduced himself as "Matthew" and seemed very pleasant. As he did his check up on the AC equipment, he explained everything that he was doing and more. It was so nice to have someone like himself, so pleasant and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend Matthew as a technician for furnace and AC repairs, etc. Also, for Home Aire Care, in order to consider keeping Matthew and others like him, give him a raise to show him how valuable he is to the company. This was warranty service (part replacement) for my Daikon Heat Pump. The office staff, Manager (Kevin) and service techicians (Ted and Barry) are all exceptional.
The service people we dealt with at Home Aire Care, from the administrative personnel, to the salesman to the technicians, were friendly and professional. They responded promptly to our needs, sending a service technician and salesman the same day the furnace died. Both of these individuals loaned us space heaters so we could stay warm in the interim. The furnace installers showed up on time, and installed the new furnace quickly. Changes made to the ducting and the new venting pipe through the exterior wall look great. The workmanship is quality. The furnace and thermostat were explained to us upon completion. We would not hesitate to recommend the professionals at Home Aire Care for your heating and cooling needs.

The repair service is unprofessional. If you are not already their client, they push you to buy new equipment. I called the company for A/C repair. The technician started talking about getting a new A/C before even diagnosing the issue. At the end of the “inspection”, which costs $100 plus tax, I didn’t even get a concrete list of work, parts and costs necessary to fix my A/C – just a reference to the sales department.
I have used this company for the last 8yrs. They installed a new high efficiency gas furnace and a a/c unit. They also came and installed duct work to get heat upstairs in my older home. They come twice a year and make sure a/c system works properly during the summer and the furnace in the winter. I like the service i have received so far and have referred many people. Family included.

I decided on a Sunday that I wanted a permanent air conditioner instead of portables. I called and they returned my call within minutes and set up an appointment with a salesman for the following day. He was honest open, educated in all systems and he got me immediate financing. I ended up purchasing a propane furnace/AC and needed all the ductwork installed. I didn't expect to see them for weeks but about a week later, they began work. Wonderful hard working men who knew their job. Took almost 5 full days to be up and running. But wow, I am so happy with the product I purchased and would recommend them to everyone

Someone showed up Monday said the job was to big for him to quote would have a senior tech call and come by the next day. No call no appointment. As a matter of fact we followed up and still nothing. If this is how they treat new business.....I concerns me on how they would be if I had given them the job.
replaced both our furnace and air conditioner in the fall of 2019 we had been Gold plan members for years, last spring the air conditioner didn't come on and Home Aire came and repaired the new unit to get it working. This spring the same problem the unit wouldn't come on, Service tech. attended when called and this time stated that the repair last year was just to get us going and that the unit needed a part. Now we find that the part is back ordered and has been for weeks, yet the company continues to advertise they have new units for sale. I would never recommend this company for your heating or cooling needs as their repair service is less than desirable and no-one seems to care whether I the customer is satisfied and they are only interested in selling units. It has been over three weeks that this senario has been running with no effort being made by the company to resolve the problem. Since this timeI have been contacted by Home Aire Care, and they have come and replaced my air conditioner with a new unit. Thanks Cheryl for getting the ball rolling, the technicians who worked all afternoon in the rain to remove and install the replacement unit and the operations manager for taking the time to respond to my concerns. I anxiously await the next muggy day to try the unit out. Again thanks Cheryl for your follow up, The exchange of units was a success and the new unit is working as it should be, We are more than happy with the way we were finally treated
This USED to be a good company to deal with when it was locally owned. NOW - not so much. We were convinced that we needed to install a new furnace and air conditioner to the tune of $12,500. We were informed by their tech Barry, that the ducting needed to be redirected or the NEW furnace could burn out this winter. Barry said he would contact their best tinsmith and come back to complete the job. This was July. Since then there have been SEVERAL phone calls to which we have always been told - we will call you. It is now mid September and still no calls. Since being sold this is a terrible company to deal with if you want good communication.
The latest appointment concerned the annual furnace maintenance check. As usual, the service was excellent and the technician was very congenial and efficient.

26 February 2020 review... As you see below, I had a Daikin Fit Heat Pump solution installed last week. I emailed Derek Sherman with a question, because I was not sure how a heat pump should work. Within an hour, Derek emailed back and arranged to send their high-tech technician, Ted (and Chuck) out. Ted and Chuck arrived, QAed the system, verified all components are working exceptionally well, answered my question and ensured I was fully comfortable with understanding how the solution works. I have been a customer for 14 years, and this is the reason why-- exceptional customer care, great technical depth and amazingly good, decent, committed and talented people working for an excellent company. I cannot say enough good things about Ted ... professional, articulate, very knowledgeable, explains extremely well and just an exceptional person. People like that make the company amazing. 21 February 2020 review... Heat exchanger on my 15 year old furnace cracked. Rather than invest money into an aging system and wanting to go more towards alternative energy solutions, I discussed options with Home Care Advisor, Derek Sherman. A/C unit was aged too. Derek provided options, comparisons and in-depth information so that I could make an informed decision. Together, we selected a Daikin Fit Heat Pump and replacement propane furnace, all tied together by the Daikin One high-tech thermostat. He was awesome. Then, the technical team arrived at 830 a.m. the next day to remove my old furnace and a/c unit and install the new system. Huge thank you to Courtney (who responded to my call for furnace not giving heat and who didn't recommend investing money into an aging furnace), Tony (the stellar installation team lead), Ruey, Ryan, Pang and Ted who were all exceptionally efficient, professional, skilled, careful and diligent. My home was well cared for and all the equipment was very professionally installed. They were gems to deal with -- so kind and respectful. Ted is exceptionally high tech and he efficiently connected the Daikin One to everything and then stayed late to train me on its use. I'm am so pleased with Home Aire Care and this amazing team of professionals. December 2017 review I am so happy with Home Aire Care. I have been a customer for 11 years, and have their Gold Service Plan. The plan is very cost-effective and has great coverage. Their staff are responsive, professional and really nice to deal with. The company and their team exude quality workmanship, honesty and professionalism.
I researched ahead of time and already had a referral to Home Aire Care from a very picky acquaintance who was very happy with her experience. I was in the City after closing my purchase and thought I'd call. Rodger, may sales guru--and local historian with 5 generations of family in Kingston area, came out to meet me though I'd called him away from his supper at home. Getting the scoop on the local history of my area was a bonus I appreciated. Straight forward, no nonsense explanations about the equipment, heavy on the details and a forthrightness that only comes from honesty. Happily-- I purchased late afternoon. On the spot financing offered though not needed. No upselling--in fact I think I upsold myself from what was recommended. The next morning the crew were there to install new furnace and a/c. I wasn't there to supervise and they returned the next day to finish and again I wasn't there to supervise. A week later I went to inspect the job. I was very impressed--the shortcuts that I feared might be taken were not. Pipes and wires fed above an inconvenient basement ceiling likely was hard to do. No apparent shortcuts. Wiring, pipes, cleanly installed, old holes capped, proper outside sealing, and the work was done in a way that maintained space in my utility room. It's like they were installing the furnace in their own home! Beckie in the office, down to earth, helpful and attentive--got me my paperwork for the insurance company as a new furnace was a condition of insuring my new home. A great referral from my colleague and I'm happy to recommend this company wholeheartedly.
Had a service call to clean furnace. While here the rep noticed a defective part. Safely turned off the gas and informed me fully on problem. Within hours an installer came to talk to me. I needed a new furnace which was installed few days later. Installers worked hard and extremely professional on all reps. Thanks for the service altogether.

Problem with Ecm motor...have to replace
Great service. Motor on furnace failed Tuesday evening. Got it running that night but it was down again the following morning. Not unexpected. The technician left a space heater for our parrot's comfort. Thursday the new furnace was installed. Excellent price compared with 3 others. Highly recommend them

After suffering through two weeks of a terrible heat wave we contacted Home Aire Care Heating and Cooling to look into acquiring a heat pump A/C system. Amazingly, not only did they come out very quickly, but were able to do the install very shortly thereafter. The installers were thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and maintained a clean working space. The administrative person researched and found us a rebate as well! Details, such as covering up the wiring on the wall and putting the outside unit on a stand to keep it up off the ground were really appreciated. We have seen other installs by other companies that were not this well done. We are very satisfied, and cool customers?
We had a new lennox furnace installed, it was done quickly and professionally. Kevin and Ralph were very experienced.They came back for some adjustments and were prompt and courteous.Overall very satisfied with installation and quality.

I am more than a little surpised this company is reviewed so well. Had a technician in recently and on that side of things it went well. He was prompt and diagnosed my issue properly. This was where things got rediculous. I was presented a sheet that quoted $745.00 for one part. The strange thing was there were multiple parts that fell in this category with no importance given to the actual cost of each part. So no matter what needs to be replaced, it all costs the same?? I though this was off, or maybe there was something I missed. I called a different company and got a quote for the exact part I needed and was told it was Approximately $245.00 for the part itself plus an hour of labor. All told with taxes I paid $420.00. This is a markup of over $300.00!!, I would call that highway robbery. If there is something I missed that would justify such a markup than I apologise for the bad review but I'm not sure what that could be.

After having Exclusive Cooling out at my house six times to reassess putting ductless air conditioning in my wartime semi detached trying to figure out a way to do the install and then a seventh time for the general manager and part owner Brad and still not able to come up with a solution to put it in my house without signing a waiver to put the compressor in the front of my house, in case it breached any city by laws, as well as Brad having horrible customer service skills on the phone talking down to me and telling me if I did a google review on the way I was treated by them it would be considered slender. I decided to go with Home Aire care which was a totally breath of fresh air from start to finish, Rodger who came and gave me a assessment on the Friday and on the Tuesday they were at my house installing a four head ductless system, it went super smooth as I had two highly professionals Ralph and Ryan who did top notch installation from start to finish, also kevin the owner even helped out with the installation which shows he has pride in his own company, all and all I would highly recommend using Home Aire Care, as it was a pleasure doing business with a company who goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Had a issues with one of the ductless units, called Kevin the owner and he was prop to fix the issue himself and all works great again now, awesome customer service. Would highly recommend this company. Update:Two years ago I had ductless air conditioning with a heat pump installed in my home by Home Aire Care who did a awesome job with the installation. Just overtime I just was not happy with the positioning of the outside unit in my backyard. so I called the owner Kevin and expressed my concern and with in no time Kevin and his top technation Ralph had come back to solve the issue at no extra charge. The appearance of it now being mounted on the house instead of it being on mounted on stand on a patio is like night and day. I have to say this company does excpecional work and takes pride in their work as well with zero no hassle, I highly recommend this company.

Called late on Thursday evening. The Tech arrived Friday by 5pm and repaired my AC unit in about 30 mins. Great service from the office personnel to the tech.

At first it seemed great, but service dwindled as time went on. We met with a salesperson from 21 Degrees in early May. Their team came to remove our old furnace and run the new fuel lines and vent pipes etc. which was fine. That afternoon we had issues with our water pressure and it turned out that one of the technicians had hit our 110/220V converter box for our well pump during their install which caused our well pump to shut off. Luckily we noticed it and were able to fix it immediately. Once the natural gas line was run to our house by Union Gas we received a phone call from 21 Degrees saying that they had to come out to do more work, and I assumed that it would be another full day job to install our hot water tank etc. and connect the gas meter to the lines running to our furnace etc. My boyfriend had arranged the day off work so that 21 Degrees and Union Gas could complete their work. By noon, no one had showed up, and I called the office and was notified that someone would be there within the hour. I am still not sure what the technicians did this time other than some pressure tests maybe, and our hot water tank still hasn't been installed and no one called me either to schedule a time to do the install!! I finally emailed 21 Degrees on July 21 to inquire about the hot water tank install and there was no apology or anything, just an informal "If I can get the tank in for tomorrow..are you available?". Now I don't know about you, but not many people can just drop everything and schedule a day off work with less than 24 hours notice. So it has been almost 3 months, and 21 Degrees still hasn't completed their job! I am not impressed at all. What should have took 6 weeks at the most, has taken almost double that, mostly due to their inability to communicate with customers. I wonder how long I would have waited for a phone call about installing the hot water tank had I not sent them an email...

Being new to the area we reached out to our new friends and they recommended Kevin. They are extremely efficient and happy to walk you through the job. Excellent customer service.

First time calling Home Aire...and the LAST! Charged me almost 150 dollars for a " Service Call " just to come over and tell me my AC unit was out of Freon...duhhh...that's what I told the dispatch center when I made my appointment. So, the technician ( Tim ) went on with his routine, scripted, mono tone voice that he is 95 % sure that there is a leak!! And it is not worth replacing..advising me to the sales department. And than showed me the NON VIP client price of $ 745 dollars to find the leak, repair and refill. My story is so similar to the review by Paul O'Toole below. WOW>>unreal.It does NOT take $745 to find and repair an AC leak..

Made an appt to have my ductless ac unit checked out. First time using this company. Service rep indicted that unit was empty of refrigerant and it had a leak which made total sense. Teach stated that he had to charge me $745 plus taxes just to find the leak which seemed really high, I could understand charging me a the hourly rate plus tax for the time needed to locate the leak . Paying for a needed part sure but not $745 just to find the leak. May only take he an 1 or 2 hours at the most to find a leak, leak could just be a seal or gasket and not a major component. Makes no sense as depending on where the leak was the part may only cost a few hundred bucks, but I would need to pay $745 plus tax to find that out. Then he says he would not bother having it fixed but he could get a hold of his sales rep to get a price on a new system. System is only 5 years old. Why would I do that when he had not determined what was acutally wrong with the unit. To make it worse he then stated " I am 95% sure the leak is at the condenser". T he cover large cover to expose the condenser was never removed to verify this only the small on on the end to check the refrigerant levels. All that was done was gauges were hooked up to get a refrigerant reading, thats it nothing else. Beginning to think it was a hot friday and with a long weekend coming up I don't want to get off early today. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Not even deserving that one star. Every time i Had work done with this company, had to run after them to pay them and then it always took forever to get a receipt. i Had work done from them for the last time over a week ago, finally, and I was very specific that I needed this done to sell my house ( because they did not even update the sticker for 3 yrs, also couldn't provide proof of their own work ). it's been over a week now and they sent me 3 receipts, which were all different of what they actually charged me. Monday, I'll be calling them for the 5th times, asking again why they charged me so much if the receipts were right, or why no one is ever calling me back like they are supposed to. Very disappointing

The tech cleaned and checked our furnace but in checking our furnace noticed high levels of Co2 and investigated to find a leak in our hot water exhaust pipe .He explained to me how dangerous this is and called in to the office .The exhaust pipe will be replaced today so we will be safe .Thankyou Home Aire Care for your professional service and for taking a few extra minutes to explain how dangerous Co2 is and to put another detector upstairs by bedrooms.Bill and Jo Ann Richardson
We were told and agreed over the phone to a $80 service, when the tech arrived and started working he started saying the costs were adding up. Over $300 apparently…when we asked him to stop working and leave our home he refused, became hostile and aggressive. After 5 minutes of arguing he finally left the home, sped down our street and gave us the finger as he drove off. We called customer service, and they offered a “so sorry about that” and said someone would call us but no one has. BEWARE!!
First they sent someone to evaluate the leak from the water heater. 160$ later, yes it leak we will book you an appt. The next day no one book anything they inspector dont even bother telling then what type i need. Book an appointment for the next day, spent the entire day waiting when my appointment was schedule between 0800-1000 am, called many time, the specialist was always on a emergency and showed up at 1630. They was supposed to pick up the old one the next day but no one came and no call either. Sale manager was suppose to call me back as well never happened. Now its going to be another day waiting for someone to come over and pick up the old one.

In addition to his competence in performing our Air Conditioning Tune UP, Mathew was personable, courteous, informative, and well liked by our Jack Russell Terrier! My wife and I agree that the interaction we had with Mathew, and the service he provided, were among the most satisfactory we have every experienced. HAC is fortunate to have such a valuable employee.
the complete experience was excellent - from the time Derek entered to review requirements and provide product and pricing information to the time their staff (Tony and Colin) completed the installation (with a few minor tweaks to meet my requirements). Installation was very well done and products are all operating perfectly (Daikin Gas furnace, A/C, John Woods Gas Hot Water Heater). Home Aire Care really stood out with their product offering, competitive pricing, listening to customer, and an excellent installation guarantee! Definitely recommended!
We had our furnace and A/C replaced two years ago by Home Aire Care. From the very first contact with them we were impressed. Very professional, Fully explained and answered all questions, There is no aspect of this purchase and guarantee that we don't like. Their staff have performed annual checkups and were absolutely excellent. I would not buy anywhere else again. We are seniors and it gives us great comfort knowing we can depend on them. What a company. They contacted us in the summer and at the beginning of December. They came around at the time they said they would. As always the member of their staff was polite, professional and courteous. As above we are so pleased to be associated with this company. It is so nice to deal with them. I have no doubt that their staff reflects the attitude of the management. Never a problem with the furnace or AC. We are in it with this company for the long haul.

We had our heat pump installed late in the fall last year. The installation was done very professionally, they did a complete tidy up including taking away the old heat pump. A short while later they just stopped by to be sure everything was working correctly. Very happy, would recommend them.

We were very happy with the service that was provided by Home Aire Care. Our furnace stopped working on Thursday, and our new furnace was installed the next day. A representative came to our home and advised us of all the alternatives (no pressure) and selected the furnace that met our needs and price range. All our questions were answered along with additional information provided. The techs that installed the furnace were very efficient and removed our old furnace and installed the new one and had it up and working in about 5 hours. Our new furnace is all we expected it to be.

I have been a long time user of Home Aire Care since the days of 21 Degrees. They provide my annual service on the Furnace and AC. While service has always been fine with good better and best technicians I recently experience the best version with the annual AC maintenance. He was thorough and went through the usual step but when I explained the fact the AC was noisier than it used to be he went about diagnosing and solving the problem. Now the unit is as quiet as it was when new . Not bad considering it is 18 years old . Needless to say I am a happy customer.
