Have just switched over to Kildonan Cleaners after years of so-so service with a different dry cleaner in the area. Have tried Kildonan twice already this summer and both times have been so good, I have to write a review...and I'm not normally a "review person". What stands out most is the staff. My toddler can be a handful, especially when I'm running errands alone with my kid. But on both my visits, the staff were incredibly kind and playful. This goes a long way for me. (Hey guys, if you see this, here's a picture of LB look great - thanks to your help. He got cake all over it so we'll be seeing you again this week!)

First experience and last experience at Kildonan Drycleaners. Beware, they don't guarantee results. Brought my beloved wedding dress to them in September 2018 (2 weeks after the wedding). Picked it up from drycleaners a week later, trim was not pristine clean. I was told that the composition of the soil where I wore my dress impacted the ability to get my dress clean. Took it to be preserved elsewhere and was encouraged to return to drycleaners to ask them to try again and the trim was not clean and that they should be able to do better. I chose to bring my wedding dress back to Kildonan drycleaners where they agreed to dryclean it a second time at no extra cost to me (which seems appropriate since they couldn't do the job right the first time). Again, I went to pickup my dress and it was not clean on the lace trim. Final result, chose to go to a DIFFERENT drycleaners who assured me they could restore dress to it's pristine white glory and would give me full refund if they could not get it better. Went back to owner at Kildonan drycleaners after a different drycleaner made my dress look like new again and showed pictures of before and after. Owner of kildonan drycleaner declined to provide full refund. Only offered $40 cash to reduce the sour taste in my mouth towards kildonan drycleaner. At the end of the day, I ended up paying $238 ($158 at kildonan minus $40 from owner plus $120 at different drycleaner) to have my wedding dress drycleaned due to poor skills at caring for detailed wedding dresses. Would not recommend any bride to bring their wedding dress here. Owner indicated that Perths charges $300 for dry cleaning, I probably should have taken it there, at least there are some businesses out there that stand behind their work and do it right the first time. Kildonan drycleaners is not one.

Dropped off 4 shirts they were ready next afternoon. Total cost was 14$. Shirts look great and are nicely pressed. Customer service leaves a bit to be desired, lady behind the desk seemed kind of irritated on my drop off. Other than that, great spot and likely my new regular location for my shirts.

Would give zero stars if I could. Rude staff, awfull service. My clothes wernt clean or ironed. They smelled dirty. Took my clothes in last Tuesday and was told i had to wait a week to get them back. I dont know who gives this place five stars but must have been differnt owner or something.

I do not use Kildonan dry cleaners and only posted the 5 star review at the request of my cousin who is the owner. My partner took a several of his suits and shirts here on a recommendation from a friend. What a mistake! He said the woman who served him was beyond rude. His suits were dirtier than when he took them in, didn’t smell clean, and hadn’t been pressed. Several of his shirts had long deep creases down the fronts, and were stained.

When are you guys going to be trusted to press my pants again? Twice you had a chance at my custom tailored pants and they look so bad.... You refuse the third attempt telling my wife that I wear them until the additional presses you made "fade away". My wife doesn't have it in her to find a new place to do our dry-cleaning, so please let me know when you'll take my pants back for another no charge attempt. And another and another after that if they still look bad.

I dropped off several items last week to be dry cleaned and was assured by the incredibly rude lady that served me that they would be ready by Friday. They weren’t!! They were finally ready for me to pick up on Tuesday. My husbands suit has stains on it and perspiration marks under the arms and isn’t pressed. The hem on the pants is down and wasn’t when I took it in. My blouse still has a grease stain on it which I pointed out to the woman when I took the items in, and my dress isn’t clean or pressed. My husbands shirts are a disaster. I won’t be going back.

I have being a long time customer at your store.There were two ladies who worked in the morning and would always laugh and joke around every time I would drop off and pick up.My clothes were always pressed nice and ready when I would come to pick them up the next morning.Now they are not there and the last few times I dropped stuff off they don’t look like they’re even cleaned. There was still the stain on my suit pants ,my shirt had creases down the front . It’s like since the two ladies are no longer there no one cares about the quality of work being done. I will NOT be bringing my clothes back there.I would also like to bring to you attention that the girl who served me was very rude.

Staff hear now dont know what they are doing. I have used this cleaners in the past and never had any problems but the staff have changed. The clothes I picked up yesterday still had stains on them and werent pressed. They smell dirty as well. How can you give a customer clothes back that in that condition? I will be going to best care from now on.

Awful service! Ruined my down jacket .Wet and stained after the first cleaning .The owner agreed to clean a second time.After the second cleaning one sleeve has discoloration visible seen from heat or steam.The owner rudely said take it as it is .He said we cleaned your jacket a second time for free. Seriously? You wanted to give me back my jacket wet with stains?I paid for the cleaning. The owner said the jacket is old and has lost color. This is not true! My jacket is not cheap and of very good quality.And last year it was perfectly cleaned in Selkirk. What a mistake to give my jacket to your company.

My clothes has been cleaned well. There is Lack of consistency with staff. Beware of maintenance costs. Verifying prices in writing with the staff at time of giving your clothes. I was charged 350% of the initial suggested price. This was my first time to clean my clothes with them. I think I should go back to my old cleaner.

Have been a customer for bout a year. Would not have thought I would ever need to write a review but after this last time feel the need to. Always dropped off/picked up my clothes early in the morning, the two ladies that worked there were fabulous. Always laughing and joking with customers, making them feel welcome and special. Apparently they no longer work there any more. The staff working there now are rude, abrupt, and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience. I might have been able to overlook that if the quality had remained consistant, but not so. I took suits, shirts, and a couple of other items to be cleaned and pressed earlier in the week for a wedding yesterday. When I took them out of the bag, I was appaled at the state they were in. They were not clean, not pressed properly or at all, and smelled dirty. We were unable to wear any of them. When we got to the wedding, I was telling my cousin about the deplorable service, and he said that he had also found the same thing. He bought his suit in last week for the same wedding, had the same negative experience with the staff, and his suit pants were stained and the jacket had ripples all down the front. He was unable to wear it. I definitely won’t be back, won’t recommend this dry cleaners, and will be advising friends and relatives to go elsewhere.
