Great concept, easy to use, and quick service. I have booked many cleaners and some are great, some are average. Service is convenient but I feel it's a bit overpriced for the level of cleaning we get. But overall, a great option.

This service is so convenient with their online booking. However, cleaners do not keep to their time commitment. For example, we recently booked for a 5 hour deep clean and received a surface clean as the cleaner only spent 3.75 hours in the house. If she could not spend the 5 hours, she should have let us know and rescheduled. We ended up paying for 4 hours. This has happened multiple times and it's very inconvenient so we will no longer use LocalMaid.

Amazing communication and customer service. When needed, the head of the company is quick to get in touch and sort out any concerns. Very easy to work with. The two cleaners that I use are both punctual and friendly. They also have great communication and work ethic.

Booked and paid for the service the day previous to appointment, receive an email at half 5 in the morning 7 hours prior to appointment telling me its cancellled and no one there to answer the phone. Was quite important i got this clean done on the day and now will be losing a large proportion of my deposit on the house, thanks. Wouldnt reccomend

LocalMaid provides and easy to use website and matches you with the appropriate cleaner. We were fortunate enough to have Loren clean our house and she was exceptional! Always on time, extremely efficient, and we were always more than pleased with her cleaning. She is also very personable and friendly. I can't recommend Loren enough. Appointment made a couple of weeks ago. Confirmed 24 hrs in advance with threat of 50% charge if trying to cancel now. Maid is a no show. I contact company via the 24 hr notice and leave gmail. No response from company. But maid texts me... oooh, I have a cold. Can’t make it..... apparently this cold hit her exactly 30 minutes prior to appointment. Took 90 min for text to reach me. Wonder if my next clean will have a 50% discount since I got zero notification? Still no response from company.

Have no idea if this company does a good cleaning job or not, as I've tried twice to book them, at different times, and both times at the last minute the cleaners were not available to come and do the job, which was a major inconvenience as both times were just prior to large events I was having in my home. Due to these cancellations I was extremely disappointed in LocalMaid.

I booked for a cleaning, however the person that was coming to clean my house had car trouble and couldn't come. It took a while, cause i couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at local maid, but finally someone did and I got a full refund. I will try them again.

The company holds no responsibility for any of the cleaners they have on the site. Our cleaner was 3 hrs late and smelt like an ashtray when she arrived. Completely disregarded the detailed note that explained the points of interest and was in general very unprofessional. When I called the service to sort things out, they said “give her a bad review.. nothing else we can do”. It’s sad because the other cleaner we hired was so good from here but I would not use them again.
