Broke our furnace and denied all responsibilities. Cost us over $1,600 all together to repair. DO NOT USE unless you are ready to pay for their incompetence when they mess up. Coincidental how Edmonton Steam Dry did not get any (positive) reviews until my spouse posted our horror story and now they got three 5 stars in a week later? Doesn't look like those people doesn't have any updates in their profiles either. Hmm... How convenient!

Home Depot has an amazing sale price for $99 duct which includes 10 vents. Jimmy was the technician who cleaned my condo. He was on time and did an unbelievable job. He was courteous and even had a carpet to lay the hoses on. All pricing were more than fair and there weren’t any hidden fees. It was only $280 to do all my vents, ac cleaning, dryer duct cleaning and got my furnace cleaned!!! They will even replace the filter for you! Highly recommended.

A technician from Steam Dry Canada comes to clean our furnace every second year, and everytime the job is done efficiently. We notice a huge decrease in dog fur blowing around the house and cleaner furnace filters when we change them. We have also used their carpet cleaning service to clean a few area rugs, and they were able to remove stains that had been there for over a year! Will continue using this service.

Hired this company to clean my furnace and ducts. During the process of removing a wall vent the technician ripped a strip of paint off the wall. When I brought it up at the end he offered no apologies nor compensation but rather the solution of "glue". Wrote to the company a month ago with no response. Would not use them again and unless you are going to repaint your house I would suggest you don't either.

They actually arrive on time and do a good cleaning from what we noticed. However, they overcharged the credit card and falsified the work order. They increased the number of vents by 9 more than what they actually cleaned. They also charged me a furnace cleanup although it never happened and we told the technician not to do it. I didn't get a penny back yet. I had to go in to home depot and file a complain with one of the managers there against them, and I also opened a case against them with Alberta consumer protection because they scam people and falsify work orders and overcharge. Waiting to see where this goes. Definitely won't use their services in future.

Awesome service. When they quoted to be here between 4pm - 6pm they actually called to give us a 30 min window AND THEN showed up on time. The technician was highly skilled and offered us advice and prices for our next carpets in our new place. Prices are great. Friendly staff. Technician even explained to me the process and what he did and what we paid for. Even sprayed an oxidizer on for free to help with deep stubborn dirt. Will hire again.

We called steam dry canada over to clean our carpet that has never been cleaned before. They had food and pet stains all over them. My dad had tried to use a rug doctor that he rented from a store with little success. Ryan and Jimmy showed up with full truck mounted equipment, and with a couple strokes the carpet and stains lifted. They took pride in their work and walked us around the clean carpet before packing up their equipment. I would recommend this service to anyone.

After waiting 2-3weeks they canceled me the day before my cleaning and rescheduled me two weeks later essentially pushing me to the back of the line because "someone called in sick". Go to buy two drill bits. Ask for help. First employee waives me away with no interest in helping. Wait a few minutes until another passes by, he won't help me but says he's called someone to come help. Ten minutes later, still no one has come by, so even though I can't find exactly what I need, I find something reasonably close. Go to the checkout, despite being busy, they have one till open. Half an hour wasted on what should have been a two minute purchase.

Although the email confirmations of what time our furnace cleaning would be done said one thing. The reminder calls spoke of another. So after the 3rd appointment change we had the furnace cleaning started. The process that is used is not effective in comparison to other furnace cleaning companies. I’m sorry I opted for a better price over the other companies quality of service. There was no long air line or brush sent down the vents only a air gun that blew the first 2-3 ft. All vents were not capped to create a stronger vacuum when working their way around the home. Had I not had previous experience with these cleanings I would not have known better. The people on the phone during the booking and the technician who came to the house were all very nice though. Just the execution of the service was not in my opinion to industry standard. I unfortunately would not use Home Depot cleaning services again considering how many other options are out their.

These guys ripped me off. They had a flat rate for 10 ducts I was willing to pay, plus an additional $10 for each extra duct. The service guy came and told me he wasn’t able to clean my ducts upstairs because my new furnace was too complicated and he would’ve had to cut a hole in it to clean it properly. So, he cleaned the 6 ducts on my first floor. When he left, I realized the invoice charged me the flat rate for 10, plus an extra $10 for an additional duct. When I called to have this rectified, the manager, Rachel, was rude and arrogant, brushing me off and saying it was a good deal (like I should be grateful) and I could look at their website to see that I got a special promotion (how is this relevant when this is the deal I was promised in this first place, for 10 ducts?) Regardless of some special promotion, they still owed it to me to clean 11 ducts, and didn’t deliver. She said she would talk to the serviceman and call me back, but she never did. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I was treated unfairly and think people should be aware of it.

DO NOT USE STEAMDRY CANADA! This company is so dishonest. We hired them to clean our $4,000 sofa. It was in perfect condition before they came except for a stain from a pair of jeans on one pillow. The denim stain came out but the chemical used left new stains on three cushions. The technician came back and apologized and admitted that the stains were not there before he cleaned the sofa and that it was in pristine condition. He then attempted to fix it by spraying another chemical which destroyed the entire sofa. Jimmy, the Edmonton "manager" denied any responsibility whatsoever. He simply stated "it is what it is"! Worst customer service ever.

I just purchased a used vehicle and the carpets and seats had some pretty bad stains. I wasn't sure if Steam Dry would clean a cars upholstery but I decided to call them anyway. To my surprise they said it wouldn't be a problem and I setup a cleaning appointment with them the next day. Jimmy showed up on time, explained the cleaning process and answered any other questions I had. After the treatment the upholstery looks like it just came off the assembly line!! I would highly recommend this company!

Do not hire this company to clean your floors!!!! We had a time frame from 12-4pm. I called around 3 pm wondering when this guy was going to show up as I sat here and waited since 12 pm. The lady on the phone called the tech and said the guy wasnt answering the phone so he must be working. It wasn't until 3:50pm that the tech called me and said he was coming over. On the phone he said he would be here in 15 mins but didnt arrive until 45 mins later. After that I gave up on them and didnt bother to answer the door when he finally arrived at 4:30. I wouldnt waste a cent on this company. What a complete waste of my day.

Used this company as they said it would be dry the same day. Technician said it would be dry by that evening. Three days later it was finally dry enough to put our furniture in, we even put fans in the rooms to help speed the process. Our carpet was soaked. Also the technician wore his wet running shoes through the house including the main floor which is all hardwood and tracked water through the house. He wasn't rude but wasn't overly courteous either.

Colin showed up on time as per appointment made on a prior day...1st 2 thumbs up... I knew right away by how he was bringing in his tools and setting up for his task at hand, that he had done this many times before and they sent one of their top guys. I liked how his tools were organized and as clean as can be expected as well as the equipment running from the truck was in pristine cleanliness and no dirt was transfered onto the walls or floor or trim anywhere. I happened to be doin some chores around the house myself at the time and the casual conversations between him and I were upbeat and of the intelligent nature and he never broke his stride executing his task during. The icing on the cake was when my cat approach him looking for attention, he acknowledged my animal and gave him a few kind pets. I have worked in the construction industry my whole life with a large part of the time in people's homes and it was refreshing to be sent someone that holds himself to the same standard of excellence that I hold myself to. Colin is definitely promotion material in my expert opinion.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked Steam Dry Canada through our local Home Depot and it was the worst experience ever. My family had to be evacuated due to carbon monoxide about one hour after they cleaned our furnace. The fire department said it was some of the highest levels they had ever seen. My kids were 15 months-old and three years-old at the time, and it was incredibly scary. When we called the company to tell them what happened, they told us to prove it. After FOIPING the reports from the fire department and ATCO Gas, their solution was that they "would reimburse us $50" but there was no apology, no offer to reimburse us the full $250 we paid, NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! We hired Edmonton Steam Dry to clean our ducts in our house. It cost us $240 for 20 ducts, which was very reasonable, I thought. The cleaning process was relatively fast and painless but the aftermath has been a nightmare! Less than 12 hours after the ducts were cleaned, we smelt a burning smell in the ducts and the furnace stopped working. We called Edmonton Steam Dry the next day and they dispatched the same duct cleaners who cleaned the ducts to investigate. The duct cleaner diagnosed the furnace and said it was because the motor in the blower blew and it's due to age (10 years old, which is only half the life of a furnace). I have a furnace in another house that's still running and that furnace is 50 years old. It's the middle of winter and the weather is supposed to go below -20C in a couple of days, we don't really have a choice but to listen to the duct cleaner and just have it replaced. So they came back the next day with a new motor and installed it in the furnace. Not only did the furnace still not run but the duct cleaner charged us $470 for the motor and told us to call an actual furnace repair company to fix the issue. They left us with a broken furnace! Please keep in mind the temperature is about to drop to -20C the next day. So we called an actual furnace repair company. The technician came and quickly diagnosed that the furnace's main control board was blown and he could not verify the functionality of the motor because duct cleaner had taken the motor away. The new technician thinks the duct cleaner probably blew compressed air onto the main board. The moisture slowed seeped onto the circuit board causing a short, which blew the main control board, which explains why the furnace stopped working hours after the duct cleaners left. The total repair for this mess came to over $1350 in damages - that's not including what we paid for the duct cleaning and the space heaters we had to buy to stay warm!!! We went to Edmonton Steam Dry's office a couple of days later to complain about what had happened and told them what the technician thought was the cause of the issue. Does it seem very coincidental that the furnace died less than 12 hours the ducts were cleaned? We also had a maintenance done on the furnace less than a month before the ducts were cleaned and the report said "the furnace looked good" and the man doing our maintenance checked and tested every part of the furnace and there were absolutely no issues. We went into Edmonton Steam Dry's office a couple of days later and the manager was very hostile and would not listen to what we had to say and denied all responsibility. She told us that they don't work on furnaces they just clean ducts. Then why did they try to diagnose and fix our furnace in the first place? Should they not have referred us to someone who can fix the furnace? But in the same sentence she also said that her guys are licensed technicians and have replaced tons of motors but the technician that replaced the motor in our furnace blower said that this was the first one of these he had ever done. All of this seems very contradictory to me. Needless to say we are very unhappy with the service we were provided and now have to take them to small claims court to get our money back. Our word of advice to everyone is: DO NOT HIRE EDMONTON STEAM DRY. They are not trustworthy and if anything happens to your furnace during the duct cleaning they will not be responsible and you will have a hefty bill to pay.

$119 doesn't include furnace cleaning. Other companies include furnace cleaning with 10 ducts for $119. Buyer beware....That night there was a strange smell when the heaters was turned on . Also a lot of dust came through one vent onto the carpet. Unprofessional .
