My carpets had not been cleaned in about four years. We had pet stains, a vomit stain and high traffic stains in our lite beige carpets and they were able to get them all out. Initially they used a blue light for locating stains and were able to find stains I was unaware of and did an excellent job of removing them. Using a disinfectant in their cleaning process to kill bacteria leaves the carpets clean and smelling fresh. I have used other carpet cleaning companies but was left unsatisfied with the job they did. I would defiantly recommend Chem-Dry. Job well done.

Was very pleased with the service I received. They were at my place exactly when they said they would, the technician was knowledgeable and professional as well as easy to talk to. Price was close to what was quoted over email and the phone. I was told once they saw the area rugs price may change and why. I felt they did a great job. There was very little smell and my family didn't even know it happened at the end of the day. The rugs looked awesome! Will use them again when I need them.

Disappointing. Half way through the job, the technician came to me and said he is going to leave because he can't make a good job. When asked when he will come back, he replied he'll come another day since his emotional state that day was not very good. After begging, the technician finished the job and stated that was the best he could do. I called Chem-Dry to provide feedback but never heard back although Service said they will call me back.

We had the carpets done in our whole house. Very efficient, professional and polite. We had the service provided by the owner himself and Mike was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He took the time to chat with myself, my husband and even took a few minutes to interact with my 4 year old child and labrador dog. The floors look great and dried in half the time of any other floor cleaning service we have used. Definitely recommend them.

Tech was late by an hour, phone operator promised 730am on the dot, tech argued (later) that they only do time windows. I called at 730 and asked again if I should be expecting him over a period of and hour etc, she (the operator) confirmed it was supposed to be at 730. Called again at 8, she then offered to book another tech (the next day) at a discount. The tech arrived at 830. After he finished, a pretty rough job I might add, he fought me over the promised discount price and had the audacity to say "do we really want to call the operator over $15 dollars?". Honestly not 0 stars because I believe the operator that they have other technicians that would have provided a better experience. I will change my review in the future if I see it first hand. I hope others do not have to go through this.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Chem-Dry and BJ far surpassed my expectations after previous failed attempts by other carpet cleaning companies. It was a difficult job and our carpet had significant damage. They pulled off the impossible and I would HIGHLY recommend this company as they are the best of the best. The entire process was stress free from beginning (wonderful admin staff on phones) to end (finished product). I have found my go to company and I now plan to have them back in two weeks to clean the rest of the carpets in our house. Chem-Dry is amazing and they are lucky to have wonderful and knowledgeable employees like BJ who go above and beyond for customers and the company they are representing. Mike also refunded the cost of the service and offered to either come redo the job for free or my next small job required for free. Nice personal touch and a very prompt response. Mike, my first call will be to you the next time I need some help. Much appreciated. Trent Just had ChemDry here to clean a mattress for me. Strike 1 - I had an appointment booked from 12:00-1:00. At 11:40 I got a call from the ChemDry employee coming to do the work who informed me that the schedulers had his bookings all messed up and that he was going to go to another appointment because it was closer and he would now be coming around 2:00. Strike 2 - employee informed me that the stain likely wouldn’t come out, but he could try anyways. I asked why I wouldn’t be told that over the phone when booking, and he said that the call center employees don’t know because they have never cleaned a mattress. Strike 3 - employee dragged snow covered dirty hoses all over my hardwood floor, did the mattress cleaning for about 5 minutes tops, and hauled the hoses back down to his truck. He came back in with his invoice book, trying to use his socks to clean up the mess. When he realized he couldn’t get the floor clean with his socks, I asked if he was going to leave the floor in that condition. He then went over to my paper towel, threw 2 pieces on the floor and used his foot to try to clean up the muddy water. He needed to “borrow” the paper towel because all of his rags were dirty today. Anyways, he left the house in a mess and now I’m cleaning it up for him. Do yourself a favor and call someone else if you need a mattress cleaned. I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Had our upholstery cleaned, large sectional, kitchen chairs & bench + our kitchen counter stools. The service tech arrived on time & was very friendly. The items were not very dirty so wasn't a hard cleaning job, however all look brighter and smell nice & fresh. Office staff is also very friendly. I have used Chem Dry on many occasions & would have no problem recommending them to others. My step-daughter actually used Chem Dry last year to have her upholstery cleaned based on my referral. Her large sectional & oversized sofa chair were quite dirty & stained. They did a great job getting them clean.

We had them come in to clean a laundry detergent spill on the top floor of our newly built home. The stain did not come out and instead we were left with damaged walls, paint chips and scuffs from the service guy dragging and roughly pulling his hosing up and around each set of stairs. The guy also came unprepared. He didn't have any stain remover left and used ours (we had some left from our previous cleaning service for our rental) but he still charged us for it? If we didn't have our own product, he said he wouldn't have cleaned our carpets at all? We spent over the required amount to receive a 15% discount and did not receive it. The guy claimed "I wrote up the invoice already, I don't want to redo it now". Seriously? We have since tried to reach out to the company and "head office" many times and have not had anyone come by and reclean our carpet. We are out just under $200 dollars for dirty carpets, probably another $300-400 in damages on our walls and a can of carpet stain remover. By far the worst carpet cleaning experience and the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I first went with ChemDry because they had 30 years experience and many positive reviews. I called on a Tuesday and had them cleaned the very next day. Grant was friendly, kind and very experienced. He knew his stuff! We had been pet sitting a dog for a friend and she had done her business on our carpet. I have a young child so I was very concerned. To my surprise, ALL the stains came out!! (Even old stains.) Our carpets look AMAZING!!!! I'm going to refer ChemDry like crazy! Thank you so much! Tech was nice and great...and worked within the amount of money we left with my Mom at our home as my Husband and I were both working. Although I do have to say, we had our area rug done as well due to our Dog peeing on it and it had a musky odour. It smelled great for several weeks after the cleaning, but has started smelling musky again, and our dog has not peed on it again since before the cleaning.

Edit: A week after the cleaning, the stains had all lifted back to the surface, the carpet took 5 days to dry and it felt like it was covered in residue. They offered to come back and fix it but I felt more comfortable having another company fix it. What a difference. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Calgary Chem-Dry now. Our carpet is badly stained by an older pet who is becoming incontinent. We don’t want to have the carpet replaced as we have other pets and more messes are bound to happen. BJ came in and assessed the situation, with retaining the carpet, freshing it up and removing as much staining as possible being the goals. He did a fantastic job! We didn’t expect perfection but it is a lot closer to that than it has been for some time. And he did it with an eye to keeping it affordable for us. We’re very happy with the service we received and recommend it to others in the same boat!

We are delighted with the service as Mike took the time to carefully inspect our carpeting throughout the house to identify where our cat had "marked his territory". Using the Purt product really made all the difference to neutralize the areas he had soiled. The carpeting is clean as new and the house smells fresh again. We used Chem-Dry for our apartment building carpets. Due to our building being older we were concerned that there would be a lot of movement in the carpets if we did regular carpet shampooing. With Chem-dry we have not noticed any carpet shrinkage or movement. It has also been an added bonus to support a locally run, and environmentally friendly business.
