Efficient, affordable, fast and thorough! I'm a dental student and when I got back from a 3 week trip my house with the unpacking was an absolute mess, I called in 2PM that day and I was able to have the business owner come in himself at 5PM the same day and what an outstanding job he did! And what blew my mind is that it was at an incredible price for the quality of the work. What was most appealing is the fact that they don't charge per hour, they charge for cleaning the whole apartment. I've hired people before and have had terrible experiences where I paid the same amount for 3 hours of work and only my kitchen was cleaned- believe it or not. My second experience was a very chatty hire that spent half the time talking and the cleaning job was poor. I'm sticking to squeaky cleaners until I graduate, I was able to start off the semester with a beautifully clean home. Thank you so much!

**AMAZING** I have Hired SQ for a few years now. I well not accept any other company to come clean for me. They pay attention to detail. My landlords have even commented on how clean they leave the homes. I recently moved and when I got to my new place I was not happy with the level of clean so I called SQ cause I know they actually know what they are doing. I love the feel of a clean home. SQ was able to come by on relatively short notice and help us clean up the apartment we were moving out from. They did a good job and were fairly thorough. I give five stars on the balance of value in particular. For 140 dollars the work done was very satisfactory. A more extensive deep clean might have been nice, but would definitely command a higher expense and fairly so. My partner and I consider it a worthwhile buy, thanks!

I am reviewing my comments on the response of SQ Management and must say that it was a “Very bad customer experience”. Let me explain, I booked a Moving Cleaning Service a week before for Oct 21, 2021 on the recommendation of someone and I was given a discount also by the person attending the phone. But on Oct 21, 2021 when nobody showed up till noon, I called the number and was picked up by a lady who said my service is booked for 2pm. I waited till 2:15 pm and no one from SQ cleaners showed up. Then I kept on calling them and nobody picked my phone. I had a flight next day and before that I had to handover the house to property manager. Management of SQ Cleaners can’t understand the stress I have been through. And now they say they never heard of me and should review my comments?????

I guess I'll start with them being an hour late. We had a 600 sqft 1 bedroom apartment (the online price list, listed it as $100 flat) We brought a move out list from our landlord which on their website they said they would do (for an additional $40) They didn't do half of the items on the list. It wasn't until almost 11pm that they were done, which means my 3 year old had to come with us to go review. When I went in for my walk around I noticed the floor was still dirty in the main hall, living room and the utility closet and I had to ask for them to mop it. Mopping wasn't done properly, nothing that was stuck on was scrubbed off they just mopped over any build up, and mopped around things instead of under/the full floor. And walked all through the kitchen with dirty shoes after the kitchen floor was wet/mopped. They didn't do the light fixtures like they said they would or change the light bulbs which we went out and bought while they were there. They didn't touch the heaters or baseboards. They said they cleaned the doors, but they only did 1 side of the doors and NONE of the closet doors. We asked for a wall wash (for an additional $50) which they offer on their site as a "full wall wash, top to bottom", but later found out they just spot cleaned and it ended up looking worse than before. There are only 2 windows in my apt and only one was washed when I got there(glass only - and didn't remove a few pieces of tape that were on there) and when asked to clean the second window they just cleaned the glass and not the proper move out cleaning of the ledges and frames. They DID do a good job on the fridge/freezer and stove, but only cleaned the inside of the appliances. There was dust on the ledges of the tub indicating they didn't do the full shower/bath cleaning and fixtures were left dirty. There were some items they took out of the cupboards so they could wash the cupboards that they put on the counter - then didn't clean 1/3 of the counter where they had placed these items. None of the light switches were touched. None of the shelves in the closets were washed either. They used some of my cleaning products, and supplies, which is fine, but they appeared to be very unprepared. These are all standard things move-in move-out cleaners should know. I worked for a cleaning company myself and they would not have let us walk out of a job leaving it the way they did. I ended up calling a close friend/former housekeeper and she was absolutely disgusted at how they left so much undone. Would not recommend. Price on the website was not consistent with their kijiji ad. They charged us $160. $100 for the 1 bedroom (including spot cleaning on walls as their kijiji ad says) $40 for our move in move out list (that was not completed, and the few things they did should have been included in their flat rate according to their kijiji ad) then charged us $20 for the "wall wash/spot cleaning" that should have been included in flat fee. I feel they owe us $60 since nothing on the list was done other than what was included in the flat fee, and for charging us extra for spot cleaning. Because their flat rate list was only half done, another $20 back from that would be nice too. They ignored my emails after I brought this stuff to their attention, which I did to give them a chance to make it right before I left my review. Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. The workers were nice in person, but I later realized they were the ones leaving the reviews. (the first 2, 5 stars) I'd like my money back. Please don't hire, very stressful situation to deal with.

Extremely unprofessional. Called to set up an appointment for a move out cleaning. And I called again the day before to confirm. Then the day off 20 minutes before the appointment I get a call that they won’t be able to make it on time and they will be coming 2 hours later. Fine, then at the time of the new appointment I got completely ghosted. To top it all off, the lady that spoke to me was extremely rude and very very unprofessional. Definitely do not recommend Response to your response: I did confirm the second appointment. Your claim about the emergency situation is a big lie cause your own employee said she is got caught up with other work. Please own up to your mistakes, reading the reviews this has been happening with other patrons. So there is definitely a trend.

Would never rehire again. Awful service and extremely unprofessional and rude. Decided to create a completely anonymous gmail account because I don't want this review to be tied back to me as the SQ staff do not reply to their reviews in a professional manner whatsoever but I believe that the public should be aware of my experience. I moved in the next day after they cleaned and spent 2.5 hours with my wife cleaning the place, setting up our bed-frame and shelves, moving boxes in, as well as taking a few breaks and let me tell you my place was spotless after that. I have no idea what they even did when they were at the apartment. I was unfortunately working so was not their to babysit them while in my new home however I wish that I was, although I doubt the results would be much different. I could have sworn they just cleaned a few things and then set a bottle of bleach out with the cap off to make the place smell fresher, while they just sat around and did nothing. Would not recommend in the slightest.

SQ Cleaners scammed us and now refuses to answer phone calls or emails. DO NOT waste your money. Note that most positive reviews are given by accounts with only one review. A big red flag . Situation: My mother paid for a full house clean for myself (with two cleaners) before the Christmas holiday. She went over details and even paid extra for him to 'do a good job.' I was told to simply call to book an appointment in early January. (And this was my Christmas present, being nine months pregnant and very much looking forward to bringing baby home to a clean house.) I called to set up an appointment and confirmed address, length of time for the clean, etc. and made arrangements for my dogs to be out of the way of the cleaners. He responded early in the day, then close to the appointment time (3:30 on a Saturday), I was suddenly unable to reach him via phone call or text. My husband and I waited for two hours without a returned phone call or text until one woman showed up at 5:30pm. - two hours late. This was a. a riduculous time of day for someone to be cleaning your house, b. not what we had paid for, and c. completely unacceptable to show up that late with no notice. We told the woman we would rebook. The 'owner' of the company finally answered my call the next day and said he was overseas (what?!) and that it was a 'miscommunication with staff issue.' He said he would etransfer the money back as we were no longer comfortable with him entering our home...but couldn't do it fo a week because he doesn't deal with etransfers. (Note: He was certainly able to accept my mom's money via etransfer in the first place.) Now he is dodging all calls and emails. I have accepted that we are out a clean and my well-meaning mother is out financially, but I want people to know this guy is a SCAMMER. DO NOT CALL SQ CLEANERS.

Quite disappointed with the service. Asked for a deep cleaning and ended up having to do a second cleaning myself. They simply mopped around things, and wiped over things without scrubbing to remove stuck on dirt... would not recommend.

EDIT: I think it's notable that this review is one of the only that hasn't been responded to. Please read it and do not give these people your business. At least one 5-star review is confirmed fake and many of the 5-star reviews only have 1 review. Worst business I have ever dealt with. Called me to ask for more money after cleaning for an hour or two, and after I came home (after agreeing to pay them) they hadn't actually cleaned the whole place and a ton of my apartment was filthy. A lot of it was more dirty than when they arrived, they left disgusting cleaning supplies on the floor. This was after they called me an hour after scheduled, asking if they could come five hours late. I had no choice to agree since I didn't want to find a cleaner last minute. After I emailed them saying I would not be paying, they repeatedly threatened me over the phone, saying they knew where I lived and were coming to "visit me", and insulting me because of some personal items they found and the messy state of my apartment (it was very messy, which is why I agreed to pay more). It was a while ago, but it was something like "disgusting pig" and some homophobic insults. You can see a similar level of unprofessionalism in their review responses. I'm sure the response to this one will be delightful! They demanded that I pay half of the cleaning fee (which they had already doubled) since they had "cleaned half". But when it comes to move-out cleaning, cleaning half is basically the same as cleaning nothing. You wouldn't pay half price for half a car. This was a moveout cleaning so I ended up not being able to clean it all in time and just paid $100 out of my damage deposit. At least one of these reviews (by Roy Donovan) is fake, since I was receiving emails from a "Roy Donovan" (a fictitious name). I'm guessing most 5-star reviews are fake. Do not hire these "cleaners" under any circumstance. They have a good average but please pay attention to all the 1-stars. Not many businesses only have 5 and 1-stars. Very suspicious.

The SQ team always deliver the goods. Have had them in for move out/pre-close, mid renovation, and regular lived in house cleans. They've been nothing but 5 star effective, friendly, and fantastic.
