We have had other cleaners but Merry Maids so far has done an amazing job. We like the fact that we get the same team every time and they know our pets' habits so they are very respectful of that.The house always smells fresh when we get home.

They are very friendly, fast and pretty thorough. Very few missteps or mistakes. I have had several different teams come through...all good but one team was exceptional. We are only one a month clients - so a review from a weekly client would likely serve you better but overall they’ve been pretty good. No real complaints.

Merry maids is the worst cleaning company in Guelph. They cut corners, rush through houses. The ladys cleaning my house weren't friendly and very snotty. I am not impressed at all with the lack of experience your lady's had I still see wiping marks from them dusting! Still black dust ontop of the ceiling fan? Like did they even wipe anything down this was a HORRIBLE JOB!

Cleaning team arrived a bit later than the appointed time (I was notified 30 min beforehand) so I would have preferred a bit more heads up. Other than that, the team did a FANTASTIC job. They worked super quickly and really cleaned everything in a very dirty apartment left by the previous tenant of a lease takeover. For context I'd previously contacted another cleaner who said it would take a week or more to clean the apartment - Merry Maids did it in 3 hours. I am very happy with the experience and highly recommend them.

Crappy job done by disinterested staff. You wouldn't believe the pictures! A window with a big smear in it. A clump of hallway dust that was swept into a pile but never picked up. A table top where the front was dusted but they couldn't be bothered to move a small house plant and dust behind it. $95 per hour for two people? We wrote them with our concerns, no response. These people have no chance of surviving.

We've been using Merry Maids of Guelph for several years now after using a few different other services and they are by far the best we've had. They make payment easy (can keep a credit card on file and not have to be finding cash for payment each week), and their people are friendly and professional. They have taken the time to get to know our dogs and are so flexible to work with. We really enjoy their service.

at first it looked very clean, but after close examination i saw that it was not really a deep clean of apartment what I was charged for. Pricing is too high for 2 bedroom 2 washroom cleaning. having two crews was not said to me and i was charged over 400$ for 2 hours of cleaning

Hired them to clean my empty house and prepare it for showing. The girls were very slow, and after they left I walked through the house and was picking up balls of dog hair, despite the fact that I asked them to vacuum everything twice. I called and had them come back. They were obviously not happy and barely said two words to me. After they left again I looked under the couch cushions of the one couch in the house that I had asked them to vacuum and it was very clear they had not lifted the cushions to vacuum underneath them. Would not recommend and will never use them again.

I would absolutely recommend this company, I hired them for weekly cleans and when I walk into my home after Merry Maids have been there the first thing I notice is that it smells fresh and clean. They do a great job and have been very consistent. I also want to mention that the ladies that clean my home are very friendly and accommodating.

Do not hire this company. I had 2 ladies come in for 3hrs, they did a horrible job, dusted around stuff, didn't dust very obvious furniture such as tv, piano, wall unit etc. Horrible vacuuming job, I swept up a pile of dirt after they left. I took pictures and sent them to the company with no reply so sent a second email still no reply, and finally a third email and still nothing. Unimpressed with the horrible service I've received. For $95.00 / hour, a 13yrs. old would of done a better job. I had visitors coming and this was the reason I hired them, they put a lot of stress on me as I had to redo the cleaning myself which I didn't have time for hence the need to hire someone. So definitely never hire this company.

I had Merry Maids clean my house 3 times. I was told I would be provided the same cleaner if not a team of 2 people each time to clean, I ended up having a different single cleaner each time. That being said, they were nice and quiet and on time. I stopped the service basically over cost. I got charged for a deep clean 2hrs $169, then the next clean get charged 2hrs $110. The inconsistency from each cleaner, and the per hour cost just doesn't add up at all. There are not very many occupations out there that make $62.50 per hour.

I had monthly cleans done by this company; cleaning was always done in a one hour and half window so depending on how much work is to be done on a particular day, I might get my place half-cleaned. Nevertheless, I was not going to go through the hassle of changing my service providers until my daughter's money box vanished after their visit. I did go through everything in that room and finally decided to call their manager. They basically said that "they trust their staff" which to me sounded as if I am to blame for reporting. It was an awful and unprofessional experience; I don't recommend this company.

Everything about my experience was great. Nicole booked me in for a spot basically the day after my request was submitted. Very easy to confirm arrival time and payment. Ashley and Sydney did a phenomenal job cleaning my place and ensuring everything was to my standard. Quite quick service as well (2 hours) for my two story home. Will definitely be using again in the future !
