I have just got home from going to the store on Gordon Street to wash my queen size comforter.
The store is very cold and while I was waiting, the girl working there came over and asked me if I thought the temperature in there was 16 degrees or less because she didn't have to work if it was. I told her I didn't know but it was definitely cold.
When my wash was done, the stains on my comforter were still there and I went to ask her to come and see them so that she could tell the owner. She was on the phone talking to someone about the temperature and asked if I could wait. I said sure but after a few minutes I walked back to the counter. Another customer was there, she was no where to be seen and the other customer rang the bell several times. She came out finally and took care of him and mumbled something to me. She was upset, I assume from being cold and I started to tell her about a time a few years ago...that was as far as I got. She said I don't want to hear any stories and started to walk away. I said I'm trying to be nice and she said "You're not being nice, you're being demanding!" I am still in shock. I said I just wanted her to see that the machine didn't do the job. She walked over, never even looked and yelled how much money do you want! I said I don't want any money, I just wanted you to see it so you could tell the owner. She said he never does anything.
I took my soaking wet comforter and came home.
While I was there, one customer complained about a dryer that didn't work and when I first came in, a customer was complaining about some alterations (I think). The place also had a bad smell.
I won't be back...ever!
