Dam, Ice Dams. This year was really bad. PMG is one of the few companies offering ice dam removal that does not damage your roof shingles (hot water steam). I had gutters frozen solid all the way to my upper floor and ice dam formation on my roof. Pierre and his team came and took care of clearing up the ice in the gutters and removing the ice dams. They also gave me tips on how to avoid the ice dams and were professional and quick to book despite being in a tremendously busy season. Glad I booked the service when I did, some of my neighbors had water leaks due to not taking care of the ice dams just a few days later!

I had a generally positive experience with PMG Maintenance with a slight exception. A friend recommended their services and I requested a quote for gutter cleaning (inside and outside) and also to replace the outdoor light bulbs through their website. They were able to provide a quote for gutter cleaning ($534 taxes in), but said they would provide the quote on site for the light bulb replacement. I got a quotes from other companies and thought that the gutter cleaning was reasonable and decide to use them since a friend recommended them. The other company quoted $40 to replace 9 lightbulbs up high. After accepting the quote from PMG I received a phone call about a week later saying they were 15 minutes away and could clean the gutters, which was fine since I was at home because of telework. When the two-person crew arrived up, they were courteous and professional and even made recommendation on repair work they noticed when they were on the roof. However, when I asked about the light bulbs they gave me a quote of $25 per bulb, which was very much above quotes from other companies and would have cost over $200 extra dollars. I decided to do only the four that I couldn't possibly reach and figure out the rest on my own. I felt I had to accept since since it was on the spot and they only finalized the appointment 15 mins earlier. If I knew that information before hand, I would have considered other companies since the extra cost to replace the light bulbs was an unexpected expense. Otherwise they were quick and appear to have done a good job.
