I hired AspenClean to clean out a townhouse after we moved out. Tanya, Anna and Lucy did a great job. Far better than I could have done myself spending twice the time. Team 3 (Kim, Clare and Anna) did an amazing job cleaning my condo. I scheduled this move out cleaning just one day before me handing the key to my new tenants. In just under 4 hours, they transformed my place from a 'ghetto' to the place just like when I first moved in. Everything from floor, to walls and to appliances look like new. My new tenants were extremely happy about their move in condition. The team was restless, and they won't even waste a second of your time on other businesses. The only place of improvement is that I need to wait for the next business day to know the actual cost of work. However, there were no surprises in the final bill and the customer service was extremely friendly when answering any bill related inquiries. I will definitely use the service again for my new house.

I used these guys moving out of a house, and for a cleaning consistent schedule in my new home and they are AMAZING. Professional, polite, and everything I expected from a cleaning company. I called in and received amazing customer service over the phone that was polite, helpful, and organized it for me in a friendly manner. I will keep using them for a good deep monthly clean as they did a wonderful job in my home. The team was team 2 and they were wonderful cleaners! I have a messy bird who throws his food around and they got into the california shutters and cleaned it all for me. I recommend them over Molly Maid 10 times out of 10 and look forward to their next visit next month! Also they were wonderful with my two cats who no doubt got in the way and were curious of the new people.

We had Aspen Cleaning do a move out for us. We were not pleased with the job they did. We had to have them back because they had not cleaned some areas very well. When the inspection was do either next day, the landlord was not to happy. My husband had to go over some areas they had supposedly cleaned. The landlord said we had paid too much for the job that was done. Would not recommend them to anyone.

I have used Aspen Clean multiple times in the past. Polite over the phone and sometimes annoyingly formal, they clean a bit better than Cleaning With Love. They are more expensive, but were never late and always took the garbage out (whereas some companies just change the liners and leave the trash at the door for you to take out yourself). We stopped using them for a few minor things that got on my nerves after awhile. They put a glass coffee carafe into a drawer under the oven filled wih cast iron pots. They started to make our bed in weird ways (putting certain blankets lengthwise which forced me to remake the bed anyways). They also forgot to change the bed linens one time but since the cleaning team said it had been done I was assured by management that I must be mistaken (um...what?).They also got my keys mixed up at some point which was pretty inconvenient even though they were extremely apologetic. They never broke anything. Things felt clean. We would probably use them again.

A disclaimer: this rating does not at all reflect the cleaning ladies and quality of their service. The cleaning ladies and the job they did, I would rate a solid 4.8/5. The problem is with management. (Warning: long story to follow) The team that came to my home was phenomenal. It's just too bad that due to poor management, problems that can be easily avoided end up leaving a terrible taste in the customers mouth. Long version below. --------------------------- Basically I asked for a same day booking. I needed the house cleaned at 1:30pm ish. I chatted with them online around 8:30am. They told me we can set an appointment for 2:00pm today! Fantastic. The quoted price was ~$300 for the cleaning. I said fine, since they have a satisfaction guarantee. I got a confirmation email at 9:27am. So around 1:50pm we are waiting around at the house, we had cut out this time of our day for the cleaning. 2:10pm comes around and no sign of them. So I have them a call. Then I was "enlightened." They said: "Oh sir, the way we make appointments is that the cleaning team will be there within an hour after the appointment time. So any time between 2-3pm." Me: "This was never explained to me. I have read the email and nothing was explained." Them: "Oh it's in your email." Me: "Never got another email." Them: "Oh it's because you booked same day. They will be there around 3pm" So then 3:15pm rolls by. And I give another call. Them: "Sorry sir the reason they are late is because you did same booking and they had another house to clean." At this point I was quite upset. And here is the point. If you as a manager make an agreement with me and say I can send a cleaning crew by 2pm, then you are obligated to do so. You're not doing me a favor. If you say you can't do it, then I would try to rebook for another day. If you don't keep your end of the deal, don't make excuses; just accommodate the customer. This is the best part though. After I told him that he wasted an hour and a half of my day, because he never sent me an email about this 1 hour policy, to "accommodate" me he asked if I would like to rebook for another day. What? So now I've been waiting for an hour and a half, and he asks me to rebook, so then it's a total waste of time. I said no. Give me a discount. And he said I can give you 10%. That doesn't even cover the tax. Terrible customer service and total lack of skill in remedying a mistake.

My team 12 is awesome, I like that they know my home so I do not have to stress with notes etc when I am not home. I had my place cleaned by AspenClean recently and had a wonderful experience. I've had mediocre experience in the past with other professional cleaners so having AspenClean do a thorough clean of my place was a breath of fresh air - literally a breath of fresh air. I had two very friendly ladies come and clean for approx 3 hours. Arrival - due to traffic, they were a bit late but made sure to call me with their new estimated time of arrival. I came home towards the end of their cleaning so their delay did not affect me and they were out before 5pm. Supplies - they bring EVERYTHING and their supplies looked spankin' new. They bring their own organic cleaning supplies, vacuum, mop, rags, buckets, etc. This probably ensures that every clean is consistent and to their standards. Quality of service - Overall when I walked in, the place smelled FRESH and my place looked a shade lighter. Once they left, I went around to inspect their quality of work in great detail and I was actually very impressed. I pay a lot of attention to detail so this should speak volumes. All the appliances, bathroom, windows, mirrors, shoe rack, etc etc were cleaned and neatly organized. The floor was mopped and rugs were wet cleaned. They even got all the water scum from my bathroom that I had been battling to remove. I also wrote specific requests to clean the washer/dryer area and wipe down the walls and they did that very thoroughly. Employee treatment - I think this is really important in all companies. Happy employees = better service. I got to chat with the two ladies as they were tidying up and they seemed genuinely pleased with the company and were pleased with AspenClean compared to other employers. They also seemed to be happy about the organic supplies that they use since it is not so harsh on their skin. PETS: I have a 1 year old puppy who is very friendly and gets very excited by people in general. I warned them about my pup and the ladies were excellent with my dog. When I got home, my dog was actually lounging in the living room watching them. The cleaners did tell me that she peed on the rug out of excitement but they cleaned that up and I saw no trace of dog pee. They were very understanding of the dog. Overall: I would recommend this company. They are professional, organized and at the end of the day, they just do a really good job of what they are supposed to do.

Overall experience has been OK. Team 4 members Amber and Cora are spectacular (had them a few times). But every team we've had also has one staff member who does a terrible job (once someone put actual trash - a plastic wrapper, etc. onto a shelf and another time someone vacuumed up a massive item which I had to cut away from my vacuum and discard) so it's often a wash which is too bad. It's stressful because I never know what kind of a job will be done. In a nutshell, they need to vet their staff members better.

I used AspenClean for the first time yesterday and I was super impressed! Our condo looked amazing - I don't think I have ever seen our microwave so spotless - and they even cleaned our bathroom scale. We have a young toddler at home, who makes keeping things clean a bit hard, but they managed to get all the crayon off the walls, doors and floors, and even off of her potty, not to mention putting away her toys in an orderly fashion. Our shoe rack, and kitchen counters were a disaster before AspenClean got there, and when I returned home, they were all neatly organized and clean. Thieves. One of their cleaning staff stole my engagement ring. Something that sure was worth more than $5000 (we're talking 10 years of jail time!) but also has an incredible amount of sentimental value and is irreplaceable, mostly because there is no way we can afford that ring again! (single income // new parents here!) I have been back and forth with a manager there who has been less than helpful, and simply because no one on the team had done something like this before he insisted they MUST be innocent and has taken zero responsibility. Their cleaners are bonded and insured, but what good is that going to do when they steal something and the company they work for refuses to provide the insurance information?! Also, the manager never called to talk in person, solely relied on e-mail though I tried and tried again to have him speak with me on the phone. Basically dodged any chance of confrontation. Aside from that, in all honesty, my apartment was always spotless, so that, they still have going for them. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Not only is the scent not absolutely overpowering but they are 100% natural and 100% more effective than anything else I've used so far. My experience with AspenClean was not good ! I found it online and checked the reviews and I thought it was the best!!!! I asked for movie out cleaning and also I mentioned it is a furnished apartment, they sent me the quotation for 3 hours cleaning with a group of 4 peoples!!! For one bedroom apartment in downtown!!!!!! They were nice cleaners but they knew a little English and they didn’t understand what I asked them . They refused to clean my balcony (wich I chosen balcony cleaning on online formes and already paid)because I was messed with pigeons popping! And I asked the head office to asked the cleaners to clean it and head office replied me because of health issues and chemical matters we can’t do anything!!!! And the landlord took $500 through my damages deposit and also I paid $360 to AspenClean . It was a very bad and pricey experience. Not recommended to any one.

They do an OK-job with the cleaning (not excellent, especially given the price), but we've had several scheduling "mix ups" which is very annoying, given that we have a one-year-old who needs to be fed, take naps, etc. It is also annoying that we have a new cleaning crew every time, so we have to repeat the same things to them over and over again. There seems to be a severe lack of communication going on in their offices. We'll be using another service from now on, preferably one that can send the same crew at the same time every time so there can be some consistency.

Team #2 (Luiza, Michal, Elli) was awesome! My home was super dusty and messy, and I had random boxes and clothes lying about. The team had no trouble working around it and getting into the corners to make sure that it was as clean as possible. My kitchen, bathroom and floors are all sparkly clean. Baseboards had no dust and even all the dust on the doors were wiped. The natural cleaning products they used left my home smelling clean and fresh, without toxic chemical smells. We were pretty disappointed after our move in clean. We had specifically requested that the bathroom receive special attention, and it seemed like it hadn’t even been done at all, beyond a light wipe. I ended up cleaning our shower, around the toilet, and all the tile walls myself. To their credit, the customer service was pretty decent both before and after the clean - we received 20% off the cleaning, and 10% off our next clean (which we likely won’t use).... wish we could have been reimbursed more seeing as we did most of it ourself. I just recently used their cleaners and there are no harsh chemicals at all. They don't have an overpowering scent to them which is great because i can have issues with the strong odours of regular cleaners. They do a better job than most of the store bought "eco" cleaners out there. The rags that are color coded to the bottles are great. They work like magic. Septic system? Don't worry. It's great because usually i'm stuck reading labels in the store just to find one i can use with the septic system.

I heard about Aspen Clean from a family friend and decided to try it. First of all, the team of 3 came right on time and were friendly and polite. They asked me what I would like done other than the standard things and if they should know or avoid anything. One thing that I really liked is how the team brought ALL their own supplies (the amazing Aspen Clean all natural products) as well as equipment - so no time was wasted with me running around finding products or having to show how to use my vacuum etc. The team was efficient and cleaned the house beautifully - and best of all, not only was it clean but it smelled wonderful without that heavy chemical smell that accompanies traditional cleaning products. Great products, HORRIBLE service, even worse client care. READ FULL REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING. To keep it short, only 50-60% of the time do things get properly cleaned (past 2 years on and off). They always put fault on the customers rather than their own teams/administration. Seem to only ever show up too early, past the scheduled time, or not at all. A team of 3 will barely clean our small 2 bed apartment, then the company will only offer a 15min "redo" (for services we pay over $600intial/$300biweekly) that make zero difference. No money back, no full redo of cleaning and they will be rude to you for having to find time in their schedule to come back. This is typical for them. Here are *a few* images (theres over 70) from our "initial -$600- clean" which includes baseboards, deep clean, etc. two days ago (once again, small 2 bed apartment, with one room they didn't even have to clean as it is just storage). Originally booked two weeks ago but they never showed up. Were rude to rebook and argued we never booked the prior clean until we read them the email we received. Cleaning team were rude and standoffish because they arrived 20min early and we kindly asked them to wait as we were still getting ready to leave. I'd just redo it all myself at this point, however we were in a car accident the other week and physically can't. I only ever write reviews if the service is atrocious and believe me 60% of the time it is.

This review is a bit overdue as we moved and had very hectic/busy days lately. I booked with Aspen because of the good reviews but I have to say unfortunately I was not happy with the service. Maybe the secret is if you leave a 5-star review, and the tip is on the house. Tip in general I believe should be optional left to the customers discretion to treat the company when they feel they received a good service. Giving you a bit more details: I required cleaning for my 3-bedroom house BEFORE we move in, so the house had no furniture in it. Now although it's a 3-bedroom house, which was not filthy, I specifically mentioned a few times that ALL I need is a thorough cleaning in the kitchen (exclude the floor), windows (5 of them, only interior) and ONLY the crawl space in the basement (and I asked to get rid of the spider webs). It took 4 hours for a team of 4 people (and almost $800 in cost) to NOT complete this. They mentioned they needed more time. After I returned I was told they didn't have time to clean behind the stove. Also although the crawl space was swept, the spider webs was untouched. Inside the cabinets were cleaned, but the cabinets doors were not cleaned properly. They did a good job with the windows and the fridge though. I feel 4 hours and 4 people and an $800 invoice should be sufficient to complete the job I've requested. I have tried other services before and I feel this was way too pricy and not worthwhile the service. I am disappointed that I had to complete the cleaning myself.

I was satisfied with the cleaning service and loved the use of non-toxic products. I am rating this service with 3 stars as I found the price point to be excessive. I have a 900 sq. ft. apartment with 2 bedrooms (1 of which is unfurnished as it will eventually be a baby room) and 4 people arrived to clean this small space. I was initially quoted at 1.50 hours for 4 people to clean - I have had my space cleaned by 2 people in less time than this - and they still went into over-time. The total price for this was $343 which is more than double what I have ever paid for any other service in Toronto. Unfortunately I will not be using AspenClean again as I the price point is simply not competitive and very prohibitive for hiring as a weekly service.

Love Love these products. My senior Yorkie was getting sick almost once a week. We had no idea what was the cause was, until we realized it happened the day after our house was cleaned. Of course like most dogs our little guy often licked the floor for food droppings. It wasn't the food that was making him sick, but the cleaning solution on the floor. The regular cleaning products might do a good job but the job they do one us and our loved ones is scary. Now I only use natural products like Aspen Clean. Revised Review: I got a call from AspenClean, they had me rescheduled to take care of the spots previously mentioned in a follow up visit. I told them that I already took care of those spots since last visit and they offered me a refund for 1/2 hour of value. The fact that they are standing behind the quality of service alone deserves 5 stars. _____________________________________________________ Previously Written: Was going to give 2 stars but gave 3. Read on: The team showed up in the correct time (after 11 as requested). They were professionally dressed, with good communication and the girls were very hard working. But the attention to detail was missing and other reviewers have definitely overrated this service. Here is why: - Underneath the bed was left unclean and wasn't mopped at all (I was there the whole time observing). See picture 1 - you can see the laundry sheet which I had left underneath my bed the night before was never picked up. - I had requested specific attention to corners and cleanup of dead bugs (if any), see picture 2 this was found after the team had finished plus the coffee stain which is only 3 days old. My dishes were done which was nice but that took away from the higher priority tasks and was something that you could easily do yourself. The girls started using the kitchen sink to clean their rags after cleaning Fipronil based Gel from the corners - this was highly inconsiderate since my dishes were still in the sink. I don't think kitchen sink should have been used at all for my specific cleaning request. In addition, Asperclean did not give the girls the correct tools. They basically showed up with basic household cleaning (vacuum, rag/micro fiber cloth, brushes etc). They also wished they had a steam cleaner but Asperclean obviously never provided them with one and they had no cart to carry things from/to their car or garbage chute. Here is a more detailed breakdown for those considering this company: Company Communication: D Team Communication: A Team's Attention to Detail: C Team's Professionalism: B+ Overall Value: C+ Overall with what the team achieved with 3 people in 2 hours and the price, I feel my girlfriend and I could have achieved in 4 hours with better attention to detail and better results and neither one of us are professional cleaners. P.S: The girl with red hair was given much bigger task of the corners - I feel the tasks were not distributed evenly according to my request of paying attention to corner detailing. It's either this was the wrong service altogether for the type of cleaning I had requested or my expectations were too high due to other reviews (or both). Meh.

I booked a one time cleaning of the whole house and received an appointment confirmation quickly. I tried to call the company the day before our appointment to provide additional details, but no one returned my call. A little miffed, I sent an email to provide further instructions and they were very quick to respond the next day. After that initial hiccup, they were wonderful with communication. Team 14 did an amazing job. I'm extremely picky, and I'm very pleased with the deep clean of the kitchen shelves. My gas stovetop is now spotless and works much more efficiently. I appreciate that they bill in 5 minute increments. Hourly rate is comparable to other professional cleaning services. Would recommend.

We hired Aspen Clean to do a "move-in clean". They came in on Tuesday and spent 3 hours in my empty, unfurnished, apartment and all they seemed to have cleaned was the inside of the oven. Half of the services offered in the move-in clean were not completed. The baseboards were not washed, the cupboards were not cleaned, the windowstills were not cleaned. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. They even said they did not clean the bathroom because there's a couple of stairs between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment. I contacted the company and they offered to come do a free re-do of the clean. We agreed, and they came back on Wednesday and only spent 45 minutes cleaning. This time they at least cleaned the windowstills, but the baseboards and cupboards are still mostly untouched. The place does not look like it has been professionally cleaned. (The photos attached were after their "re-do"). They claim that everything they missed is permanent damage, but I am able to remove a significant portion of this "permanent damage" by simply rubbing my finger over it. Sure there is damage to the paint in some areas, but most of the dirt is just that, dirt. I wish I could upload the videos of me wiping away the baseboard dirt with my hands. I simply cannot fathom that this is a professional cleaning company. I could've done a better job by myself. They won't even offer a partial refund - I just wasted $600 to have to clean my apartment myself. They did offer 1 hour for free the next time we hire Aspen, but as I'm sure they know, we will not be hiring them again. Merry Christmas, I'm glad I get to spend my holidays cleaning our new place in preparation to move in.

Used the service twice, the first time they did a fantastic job and I was there the whole time. The second time I wasn't there and it looks clean on the most part but there are some nik naks like the window tracks were vacuumed but was not brushed. Based on the previous experience I really expected more from Aspen Clean because the first time was wonderful. Called customer service and they scheduled a time to fix the problems free of charge. The reason was that the company policy saying they can't scrub things without the customer there saying yes? The service was NOT GREAT for what I paid. - To start, they were over an hour late. - I was told 3pm and they arrived around 4:15. - They did not clean my base boards at all (still have dust everywhere). - The girl that cleaned my master bathroom did a poor job and I am not pleased at all. I actually had to go back and re-clean. - The same girl cleaned the master bedroom - Still dust on the floor, night table, and bed headboard. - I was also told when I booked the appointment that they would clean marks on my wall (not a single mark was removed). - Not all the garbage was taken with them - They also did not clean under some of the furniture (found dust balls). - The laundry area was not touched at all (something I cleaned after they left). - Only positive note, the girl that cleaned my kitchen (Marianna) was amazing - she was very thorough. I absolutely advise against using their services at the price point they charge and would appreciate a representative call me back as I would like some form of a refund.

I received a gift certificate for $150, so I booked them for a 3 hour clean. They cleaned two bathrooms and vacuumed. Nothing else, not even counters wiped down - they didn't even mop the floors (we have all hardwood). My regular cleaner charges half that and would have had the place spotless in that amount of time. Not impressed. The bathrooms are nice and clean, that's great, but it shouldn't take an hour to clean a bathroom. It's not as if they were disgusting, I wipe them down pretty regularly.

I tried your bathroom cleaner on my steam shower tiles and it worked amazing! It has been difficult ot find a cleaner that works this great and is safe for my septic system. My shower tiles are black with black grout and have a decorative silver tile boarder and they haven't been this shininy since they were installed. Other environmenally friendly products did not work, were far more expensive and left behind hard water stains, your bathroom cleaner cleaned what they left behind! I also feel good about using it as the shower stall is confined and I end up breathing in what I use so I feel it is a healthy choice. I also have to mention the spray bottle of your cleaner is fabulous - no more drippy nozzles! Thank you for making this task so much easier for me!

I booked a one-time cleaning for my MIL's apartment in North Vancouver. I got quotes from 3-4 companies and all were basically the same price. I chose AspenClean because they took bookings thru their web site without having to phone or wait for someone to schedule it. This process was all very smooth. The next day they emailed me that the crew would call at around 8:15-8:30 to be let in. They actually phoned at 8:14 and said they would arrive in 15 minutes; they showed up 14 minutes later (yeah I notice things like that). A crew of three, friendly and professional. I guess most importantly, they did an excellent, excellent job. Nobody wants to go into the apartment because it's so perfectly clean, we don't want to spoil it! 100% recommended, would totally use again.

On the subject of your cleaning products. I just have to mention how impressed I am with the powder cleanser and window cleaner! The property that we live in now I just purchased five years ago. Included with the property, of course, were the typical kitchen appliances, one though in which I was not experienced in dealing with was a stove with the ceramic glass top. Albeit a nice good quality stove, it has been a major source of frustration. I have always struggled with cleaning this stove top and maintaining a shine. There are so many cleaners out there that cannot be used on this stove top! I have purchased and tried quite a number of so called specialty glass/ceramic cleaners but there was always some issue with each one of them. This morning I tried your powder cleanser followed by the glass cleaner. WOW!! I have NEVER seen this stove top so clean and shiny. It was so easy too! Very impressed. I appreciate the efforts you put into creating a group of clean 'cleaning products'! Lovely, soft aromas, and the cloths are not like the usual micro fiber cloths. When I tried your glass cleaner on the windows with the dedicated color coded cloth I was pleasantly surprised. No streaking! No lint left behind by the cloth. No drag as you wipe the glass surface with the cloth and it was quick. The solution, as with all the other spray products, do not spray on heavy but nice and light which results in less runoff, less mess and a quicker clean. Keep up the great work! You are providing a product with integrity, quality and is healthier not only for us as individuals but also for our environment.

Honestly one of the most disappointing cleans I’ve ever had. I hired Aspen for what I anticipated to be a regular service, and this review is based on their first visit. Cost I felt was very high for my less than 600sqft apartment, and there were MANY spots missed. Shower wall missed, plants on window ledge not moved and cleaned behind, wood transom to patio not cleaned, bed not even re-made to when I did it that morning etc. Disappointed with the service for the cost. Cancelled immediately and will be looking elsewhere.

It is so nice to find a green company that is truly green! They list all their ingredients on the labels, which makes me feel safe when using the product. The packaging is also recycled materials. I love the kitchen cleaner, it foams up and smells amazing. The glass cleaner gets salt stains off my windows that are left by living close to the water and nothing else seems to work. And the dishsoap - is the most delicious soap I have ever used and as someone that hates doing dishes, it makes it not so bad. Ordering online is easy too!

I had ordered a post construction clean on my new build home. There was lots of dust on all the shelves, floors and in the two closets with built ins. I had pointed this out to the crew when they arrived as this home has a lot of built ins. The crew was on time, professional, and courteous, however, the cleaning was not up to standard for what I paid which was $1500. There was a layer of dust left in most drawers and cabinets, sawdust on some shelves in my built in closets, the floor was relatively clean, and I had to re-direct them to clean one more toilet more thoroughly while I was there checking in. Overall, it was disappointing. They did offer to send a crew to re-clean those areas, but it was simply more convenient for me to dust them myself then to have them come in.

AspenClean did a horrible job cleaning my home in Calgary. I purchased a move in/move out clean to avoid the stress of cleaning when moving into a new place. Instead of alleviating stress they added to it. I checked on the place after it was cleaned initially and there was white product all over the kitchen counter tops, I could see the dust on my track lights and pot rack, multiple drawers looked like they hadn't been touched! The baseboards all throughout the house were still covered in dust, the bathroom floor had clumps of hair, and the tops of all cabinets throughout the house were covered in dust. So much of the house was untouched, i could see the dust and easily pick it up by swiping my finger across. I called to complain and the cleaners came a second time. I pointed out the numerous issues I had and asked that the house be cleaned in full again. Three cleaners arrived and told me they only had 30 mins booked for the job but would ask if they could have more time. They assured me they would clean it better and admitted that it was poorly done the first time. After the second clean there was still dust coating the tops of all the counters, harder to reach drawers i.e. above the fridge remained uncleaned, the baseboards were still dusty as well as the fan in the master bedroom. Horrible. I could understand dust left behind furniture or cabinets but was disgusted to see it out in the open. My girlfriend and I were hoping for a less stressful move in, and had to spend 2 hours cleaning the bathroom alone. We haven't been able to unpack for a couple days because we want to clean first!! We called the manager and complained again and asked for a refund which he refused because he claimed he had to pay his cleaners and said they had spent 10 hours in the house already. He had to be either lying or joking. Horrible customer service. They offered to come back again but by this time we just want to move in and have had to take time off work to clean the place ourselves. All in all, I was extremely disappointed in the service. I've never used a cleaning service before and AspenClean was recommended but I would not use them again and I will never recommend them to anyone I know. In fact I'd encourage people to spend their money elsewhere.

I contacted AspenClean by phone and was impressed by the young lady on the phone. She listened to my requests and questions and addressed each one clearly and succinctly. She didn't push, but seemed to bend over backwards to give me exactly what I wanted. She explained how they worked and what they could and could not do. For example, if I wanted a certain day and time, she explained what they could do and when the times might change. Her helpful and informative attitude convinced me to try the service. I tried the Thornhill service (2016/02/03) and was impressed by the three young women and the trainee (team lead Paloma, Tatiana, Tatiana and Maria, the trainee). All four were polite, efficient and thorough. When they arrived, they covered their shoes to keep my floor clean. They listened to me when I explained how to meet my new dog. But mostly they got to work right away and worked as an organized team to clean my house. The windows and mirrors did sparkle. My house is always clean, but I could see a noticeable improvement just after the team left my house. I was very impressed with the service. My only concern was the high cost.

Very pricey but a good job was done. There were streaks on the parquet floor which showed they were wet mopped but I was hoping for no streaks. I don't think the soap dish in the main bathroom was cleaned nor was the inside of the toilet paper holder in the ensuite. The kitchen sink was sparkling like new but the cleaning residue was left in the space where the counter top meets the sink. It took a bit to get it out. If using the team for a while this would end up in bad build up. I'm glad to know the products are for sale because the house smelled good and they are non toxic. I'm also glad my husband had someone to clean the house for him as I was absent for several weeks. His mind was put at ease. Would only use again in an emergency because of the cost.

Edit: COO & Co-Owner Chris Solodko was in contact. He was apologetic and took the time to listen. After the call, he sent out an E-mail regarding the conversation and offered a 50% refund. At least he is willing to try to solve the conflict and make it right. I feel that a 50% refund is fair; after all, someone did show up and performed some sort of cleaning. I hope the owners see this. If I can give them zero stars I will. Once they have taken your money, good luck. They have no respect for people’s time and the attitude they give you is incredible. I work in Asia right now and I have to get up early or stay up late at night to try to call. I have tried to talk to them for 2 and a half week and I ended up getting an email from the operating manager Niall Humphreys giving me a 1 liner asking if I’d book another appointment. 1) It was really frustrating that the original appointment was not even scheduled properly even though I received an email confirmation of the arriving window around 11am. I had to fly out that night, so I called, and they did eventually got someone to come in at 4:20pm 2) signed up for the extra service for sheets washing, but because there was no instructions for the sheets, I didn’t know I was supposed to do anything for it, so when I asked the ladies when I did the walk around afterward, one of them told me nothing was done for the sheets because I didn’t leave them out or something. So this item shouldn’t be charged then if it wasn’t even done 3) I’m not satisfied with the quality of the cleaning. I really didn’t have time to do a detail walk around but when I ran my hands on the bathroom counters, my fingers were full of dust and everything else. When I asked the ladies if they have clean the bathroom countertop, and move the few items on there to clean the surfaces, they said yes. I said they are still dirty, and one of the ladies said it was the silicon stuck on the counters, there was nothing more she can do. But it was quite obvious that the countertops need some work when there was hair and dust that I can see, and collect when I ran my hands on them, and a dried out contact lens that I left there was still there. I brought them up to the bathrooms and ran my hands on the surface, pointed out the areas, and they got the spray and wiped the counters again. The girl who told me there’s nothing more she can do has such a vile attitude. I was flying out of the country and I really won’t have a chance for someone to redo the job. I was quoted the cleaning will be 2 hours and 20 mins and then because the cleaning wasn’t scheduled properly, and you have arranged someone to come in after 4, but for 2 hours. I’m not sure how you estimated the time, but if things are not done properly, or done at all within the time you have quoted me as a paying customer, this is unacceptable. The cherry on top was finally after 2 and half week I finally got an E-mail from the operating manager Niall Humphreys saying “Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Did you want to book another cleaning with us? Just let me know and I can arrange.” I called him and said it wouldn’t be an option to book another appointment because I’m out of town for work for months, and at this point after the delay and attitude from various people, I just want a refund. He said that’s not something he can do, thanks for your feedback sorry to bother you, and he put his phone down. There was no more respond on the other end of the line no matter how many “hello? Are you still on the phone?” I have said. An operating manager with attitude like this, I hate to say it, that tells you how well they’d ever treat the customers. What got me is their poor attitude, the incapability of complaint handling and resolution, and lack of desire to resolve conflicts. Clearly the company lacks a good complaint handling mechanism with individuals who has the complaint handling and resolution capability. Once they get your money that’s it, you are nothing. Everyone please do yourself a favour and stay away from this cleaning service.

Cleaning was done yesterday 9/04 2018, Team#5 Bella, Carmen and Pedro worked extremely hard to get the place clean especially the Kitchen. We couldn’t believe the microwave, the fridge and the stove can be this clean. Of cause it’s clean everywhere too after their excellent cleaning service. Kitchen was used for baking cakes a lot and grease were covered on top of the stove and inside the oven. And it’s all clean and looking good now. So it’s the fridge. It had old aging food stain and it’s gone now. And great thing is there is no ordinary chemcical smell later inside the house. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Called AspenClean and they gave me an appointment within one day and I was so grateful. A four person team came out and they were friendly and efficient. When I was doing my move out inspection, the Manager of the building said that AspenClean was a 'partner' with the management company and they knew what specifically needed to be done, but that wasn't the case. Team 1 (Sabrina & Carla) did a fantastic job for us! They were incredibly thorough and detailed, which was important for Type As like myself and my husband. I was hanging around at home when they were cleaning, and I noticed one of these lovely ladies taking my kids' toys off the toy shelf to clean the dust off. As parents to young children, there was quite a bit of toys, and I certainly did not expect them to be that thorough. It was greatly appreciated. We have used Merry Maids and Mona Cleaning in the past. The use of natural products was also important to us. Yes, Aspen is more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. We'd rather pay more for quality work that we're happy with, than pay less for a mediocre job that we grumble about afterwards.

I cannot say enough about the AspenClean products! I have officially switched all my household cleaners, laundry and dish soaps over to AspenClean. They work so much better than the conventional products I used to use. The dishwasher pods are incredible. It's hard to pick a favourite but I am in love with the Oxygen Bleach stain remover. I have 3 kids and this not only takes out the stains but the clothes come out cleaner than they ever have before. I also love that they are EWG verified. I highly recommend all of their cleaning products.

I have been a regular customer at AspenClean for a few years now. The teams are always happy and friendly and do a fantastic job. I have no concerns leaving the house while they work and I am always pleased with the results. In particular "YaYa's" team (it's what her grandson calls her) has been a favourite with my small children who have gotten past their shyness now. I have recently had to cut back in the regularity if the cleanings but this is no reflection on them - if I had the money I would have them in weekly!

As you know, I have never had the same team twice so have to review a few details about hardwood floors being left too wet and not to dust my many shadow boxes, etc., for every visit. You had mentioned, in our bed making e-mails-???? that you would try to get the same team to come when possible. Natalia, this would be great. Or even if two teams come that get to know the house.... or two repeat people....I know holidays and illness make it tricky for your office but it would be a huge help. Ruth, Marileth and Eilyn worked very hard and asked a couple of constructive questions. They also used two people to make the queen bed, which is so very sensible as it saves time and effort and dollars for me. None of the other teams have done that, to my knowledge.

BUT I found the total bill of $200 to be very expensive for our apartment living room + 2 bedroom considering both bedrooms have full size furniture and the amount of area actually cleaned was not a lot (just main walking paths)

Me and my girlfriend, a young couple, acquired the main floor of a home to rent and live in. This home however was left in an unfortunate state due to some hoarding and about a decade of neglect. We worked for several months to get out all of the old furniture, garbage, and pest remains. Finally we cleaned as much as we could, but didn’t have the time or materials and needed a professional service to get the home to a manageable state. We called AspenClean where the booking representative was extremely professional and courteous, and booked us an appointment less than a week later. The team showed up during the time window that was given to us, and did an incredible job on the house. They got the tile floors clean and sparkling new, the bathroom immaculate, the bedroom clean and fresh, removing scores of dust and debris from the home throughout. It was a very daunting job for us and we were amazed at the amount the team was able to complete in an approximately 3 hour window. They even fixed up the little metal grill on the bottom of the fridge that was falling off after they finished cleaning it! We are incredibly grateful to AspenClean for getting a new couple set up in a home to be proud of, especially during these unique times. I was advised to use Aspen Clean to prepare a condominium for new renters. I was relatively pleased with the results, but did have to direct the cleaners to some obvious areas which needed attention. HOWEVER, please be aware that I will not and can not recommend them since one of their cleaners stole a family member's engagement ring just over a month ago while cleaning at another location. The family member had left a key at the West Van office for their place in Vancouver. The theft therefore occurred while the cleaners had the run of the place. Police reports have been filed but the company is not forth coming with information which can move the case forward. This is an extremely concerning situation and as such, I would caution others not to use the company's services.
