Prices were highly inflated and not marked so you get a bit of sticker shock when you go to pay. Very shocked with the customer service. I normally get to a Pet Valu and have to fight the staff back with a broom as they are always so eager to help and provide such great service. This place - not so much. Was haughtily told go keep my dog away from the till as there was a service dog behind the counter (fine - not great delivery, but fine). Then when I replied and began to ask when I can find xxx product. I never actually got a chance to finish my ask as she turned away from me and went back to the booklet /paper on the table.

Horrible service, went into Pet Valu Elliot Lake looking for a large bird cage. Had zero help from staff and even less help from the manager who was in fact in the store but would not come talk to me. Last time I will waste my time there and will make time to travel elsewhere where my business will be appreciated. Would give LESS than one star if it was an option.

Best pet shop in the area! Not only are the staff knowledgeable and friendly, they carry a huge variety of products that you wouldn't see anywhere else! Anything from Reptiles to Spiders and even Aquatic Plants! Love the Betta fish and really happy that they help the sick betta fish not like the other pet stores that just give them away while they're still sick, but it's cute that there's baby Betta fish but I still have 2 Betta fish i got from there, ones is an old man Betta fish now that's 9 months ago I got him on me and my brother b day and the other is a baby still but he's so cute but my grandma got him 2 months ago.

I love this store. The staff in this store are very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and always offer to carry me purchases to our car. Kendra is the best pet store staff member I have ever dealt with in Elliot Lake. I went into pet value in Espanola, I needed cat food, I left the store, the young man was a smart alec, so I left, and went home to Pet Value in Elliot Lake. There are 3 pet stores in Elliot Lake, I will only buy from Pet Value. Thank you, Kendra, and all staff, I have would never change.

A very good shop for pet supplies in a central location. Friendly staff and very supportive of the local cat shelter and Dogs Life helping with the adoption of their charges to new, safe forever homes. I should note that both local pet shops are very supportive of this initiative. They are always fully stocked with a wide variety of choices of supplies for your fur babies.

The only good thing about this store is the size. Staff is not knowledgeable at all and sometime very rude. They keep trying to push their home brand of food (PERFORMATRIN) that is over priced and only average food. Much better food out there for that price range. Acana, Orijen. Pets are in small cages "to small for them" without water or food. Not pleased with my visit to this store.
