-10 outside and our little heat pump is keeping my old house comfortable. I found Weir's to be very professional. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful. We bought a floor model and love that it doesn't take over my living room or blow cold air down on me. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again with this company.

In January 2019, we decided to purchase a heat pump. After rating several contractors in the area, we decided to contact Curtis WEIR who came highly recommended by other consumers as well as NS Power. Curtis came over to the house and designed a system for our home: there was no high pressure sales tactics and he answered every question we had about heat pumps. He came across as very knowledgeable and professional and his total price was reasonable. Two of his employees came over within a few days and installed the system: his men were polite and efficient - even came with their own vacuum cleaner to clean up after the install! They then showed us how to operate and maintain the units. Curtis then helped us with the necessary paperwork required to obtain a credit from NS Power! This February ( 2021 ), I contacted Mr WEIR to report a squealing noise from the outside unit - this in no way interfered with the overall operation of the unit but was a tad annoying. He identified the noise as a faulty bearing in the fan motor and advised that he would order the necessary part... within 3 days, the fan motor had been replaced by another of his competent employees at no charge to us. Weirs Refrigeration has been in business a long time and continues to provide excellent customer service after the sale. Overall this has been a very pleasant experience so far with an efficient system in our home and knowing that excellent and prompt service is as easy as a short E-Mail or phone call. We would highly recommend this company .Thank You.

Mr. Weir came to our home in Weymouth North assessed our needs and emailed his quotes shortly afterwards. Weir Refrigeration was awarded the contract based on the brand (Fujitsu), price as well as Google references. The work was completed professionally and on schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Weir Refrigeration for your home comfort. FIVE STARS!

This could have been a five star experience. The contractor installed a heat pump in the house I just purchased, however the installer did not add a drain line for the AC condenser. It leaked down and helped rust out the old furnace. I bought a new furnace but the new contractor needed to make sure the leak could be fixed. I called the heat pump contractor and he said they put a drain line in. I took pictures of the unit with the furnace guys standing beside me, "no drain line here" and sent them to him. He sent out a tech to fix it. A good guy, four years experience, did a great job installing drain line and I had him install a condensate pump as well. Told his boss too. Boss man called me and said he would not charge for the drain line as it should have been done right. I get the bill, $444. Three hours labour, travel time to and back to shop and $130 for the pump + HST. I call the office. I was told I would not be billed for drain line (" his problem") the condensate pump job took 35 minutes plus an hour travel time, that's fair don't you think? He whined and moaned, claimed he was getting screwed and would never service my address again. Bill was adjusted to $328, cash only. I drove way out to his place of business in the country and paid him cash today. Nice place. I don't think he has been screwed too often. I would hire his technician in the future though, if he worked for another business. Seriously.
