Excellent service. Had some qualms early on but they were professionally addressed. Cleaning job is top rate - no complaints there whatsoever. Recommended.

We had them clean a family members home as a gift and the service was reasonable. Some floors and areas were forgotten but it wasn't a totally unreasonable job and they showed up to do it on time. However, we then booked them to clean our house, they came and met with my husband and tried to convince him we needed more time (although we've had several cleaning companies clean a few different houses in the past and know what to expect), and finally agreed that maybe we didn't and we could wait and see. We scheduled a clean for the following week and they showed up half an hour early and no one was here so they left and refused to come back at our previously booked time. Very disappointing when trying to rebook as well and we will certainly be taking our business elsewhere as there prices are not cheap so you would expect much better service.

We have had Merry Maids cleaning our home for close to 3 years now. They are responsive to any thing I might raise, do a consistent job and keep me informed if changes for our cleaning time are required.

Merry Maids were already coming to my building so I thought I would give them a try. Great experience. Thorough, efficient. It’s been a week and my place still feels clean! I’m surprised by the negative reviews; some seem unfounded (getting cut off in traffic for example has nothing to do with cleaning quality). Anyway, thanks Merry Maids looking forward to my next clean.

I have used Merry Maids in both Victoria, BC and Halifax. They have consistently provided excellent service across the country! When I arrived at my rental space here in Halifax, I quickly realized I needed help with cleaning. I called and explained my situation to Sandra, and she was able to make arrangements for them to come by just two hours later. Kay and Melanie were efficient, detailed and professional in their work. They also did a few extras touches to make me feel more comfortable in this new (to me) rental—a nice way to start my adventure as a student here in Halifax. I have heard of the friendliness of people here, and Merry Maids embodies that.

I was looking forward to having my house cleaned by professionals. However after 2 weeks of calls and promises that I would get a call back by the receptionist, I never heard a word. I guess they were too busy to take my business.

Not impressed! No one showed up for the scheduled cleaning time. Tried to call and no answer! Not great customer service. Finially received a call 30 minutes after scheuled time saying they were running late. I cancelled

I contacted Merry Maids in HRM to help with some cleaning while I was injured. The owner/franchisee at that time offered me 50 dollars off my first cleaning. We had arranged to clean on a monthly basis but as I was able to do the general cleaning around my place I did not require the service. After cancelling the service which I did not sign any contract fo, I received an email detailing how that because the owner/franchise had given me 50 dollars off the service that it was not fair to them and they had lost money on the cleaning. I am not responsible for your business profit margin and it was very unprofessional to respond this way. As far as the cleaning goes the staff were nice and friendly and did an OK job but nothing that outstanding by any means.
